Hi guys!
Anything going on at Club Noblesse at the Metropole Hotel?
This "Bars & Clubs" thread has been set up for two weeks now, but none is listed here yet. I will start & hope those who know other clubs well will do the same.
Apocalypse Now, the locals refer to it as "Apo" located on Thi Sach St. Dist. 1. stays open until 2-3AM. It's run by the son of a close associates of the executed mob boss, Nam Cam. This is a good place for those who do not have a lot of time for hunting, & it's one of the most popular clubs, if not the most popular, for the expats to hang out in Saigon.
For westerners, there is no cover charge. For the non regular locals, there is a cover charge of 50k/70k. As you walk in, on your left side, there is a pool table & a bar. On your right, there is a small dance floor, some tables, chairs & DJs. In the open backyard, there is a grill selling hot sandwiches & some tables & chairs for you to sit & chat with the beautiful women there. The women's restroom on the left & men's on the right. The bartenders are usually women & the waitpersons are usually men.
Although 85% of women there are freelancers, you must be polite & discreet when approaching them. Some of the girls go there just to dance & their boyfriends will show up later. Depends on the qualities, prices range from $50-$100 ST. Not sure about LT. Heineken cost about 50K each. If you want to play pool, be sure to put your name on the black board & wait for your turn. It costs 10k per game if you lose.
If you cause any troubles there, you WILL get thrown out & possibly beat up by the security guards. So just stay cool & have fun.
Have fun hunting!
There is a bunch of older reports on bars and Clubs in HCMC under the General Info thread so look there if you need info for now.
As time goes by the bars and clubs information and new news will gather here.
Not heard of Club Noblesse so can't comment.
Hi guys!
Anything going on at Club Noblesse at the Metropole Hotel?
It closed at least a year ago. Perhaps it's reopened, but haven't been there. Massage was also closed when I went there 6 weeks ago.
noblesse is a music and karaoke bar with many viets. Somtimes there are foreign guests at the hotel patronize there. You can request for a hostess to keep you company. There are about 10 there, but any extra "works" she might do after hours is all up to the girls.
Being in Saigon at the present time, I was lucky enough to find a bar called "Riveside something". There is a billard and a bunch of good girls from 7 pm every day. It is located on the left side of "Bui Vien" by the end of the street where an other street joins on the right. Enjoy the visit.

I found Bui Vien on the map - it is over to the SW of the backpacker area. Is this a bar similar to the Hai Bai Trung bars but a little less sales pressure?

100& ST in vietnam (even in HCMC) is for sure a price for supposed suckers (no offense meant, but sometimes it's necessary to make things clear)!
cheers!

Not all of us have the resources, contacts or knowledge that you do. Most of us simply struggle by and try and get the best quality we can for the lowest price. Pointing out someone is paying too much is helpful. More helpful still is sharing the resources, contacts or knowledge that you have, indicating in your opinion a fair price should be and how one would go about attaining said price.
When you do offer up this bounty of information, please be mindful that most guys don't have days or even hours to go looking. They want to go somewhere reliable with good quality, and they want to be able to go there without having to hunt all night because they've come from meetings during the day and have meetings in the morning. They will probably also want girls who speak at least a modicum of English. If they are lucky they'll have a day or 2 to spare before they depart - even then, it is hardly time to do proper research.

The availability is almost immediate and the prices may be discussed; you can get a whole night for 50 dollars, but maybe lower the price if you are young and pretty.

The key to this issue is negotiation and the key to negotiation is establishing a position of strength. You need to confidently let them know that you are aware that the going rate is VND1 mil for all night and that you are willing to move on if they are not prepared to cut a deal near that. If you are there for 2 days tell them a few days as knowing you have limited time gives them more strength.
Treat this negotiation as part of the game - and smile and enjoy it!

Bar Rive's.
The manager is in her thirties and pretty (I do not know if she goes fucking). Her sister is real pretty, she is 24/26 and goes fucking).
The rate of drinks vary depending on the time ( nobody before 7 pm) and the temper of the managing team. It is not necessary to spend a lot of money drinking before concluding an agreement, unless you like it.
Gossip.
It is very close to the market Ben Thanh, and you can reach it walking within 3 minutes.
The charge is 90 000 VND for entrance and a drink.
At 9:00, the whole management was in place ... and me. Nobody else. The music was horribly loud.
At 10:30, when I came back, there was the crowd described by "Tricky Richard", and contacts easy to establish.
