President Airlines from BKK
Cheapest option is President Airlines. Daily flight at THB6,500 return - just call them directly and they will make a booking same price as any travel agent. Only THB6,000 if you get a last minute ticket at the airport - any weekday except Friday and you will be guaranteed a seat. I have used them and the service was reliable and friendly - you even get an in-flight meal and drinks. Woo-hoo! Most importantly, you will save enough money compared to Thai Air and Bangkok Air to afford another 4-10 ST girls at Martini.

Final Word on President Airlines
LJ, You can easily get a ticket at the airport on Sunday morning. Just go to thier counter in Terminal 2 two hours before the flight. If you are terribly worried about not getting a seat, you can call them directly in BKK (website number) from wherever you are and get a reservation. AR+
The post of CaliDude1 is correct in that the PA fleet is old, the seats are cramped, the plane was very hot until the aircon kicks in after takeoff and the flight schedule is not daily. However, I should point out the FACTS on the following points: Safety = PA has never crashed. Price = You will save at least 3,000 bhat, not a few bhat. AR+
Well if your life insurance is paid in full,be my guest, and fly President. They got the crappist Russian fleet around. They load you in this un-airconed former crop duster/tuna can,and you wait in this Russian coffin till take-off.
Cramped seats and a bad scedule, they only fly on certain day of the week.
I flew in on President, but I left on Bangkok Air.My life was easily worth the extra few baht.
