Will be in Queretaro this summer for several days and I hope to visit "La Casa" which was listed in the old forum - back in September. Any updated info? An address? Do you need to buy drinks for the girls or can you just choose and go to a room? Prices? Other options in Queretaro? Any additional tips and info is appreciated. Thanks, -P

Want to go to la casa? easy ways to find it:

1) Ask any cab driver for "la yegua"(la ye-wa).

2) If you are in your car, ask for the "Hotel Flamingo" or "la Parrilla leonesa" both of them are less of a street of the place.

If tou are in the corner of the Flamingo Hotel you'll see at at your right and at the other side of the street a Pemex Station, in the other corner it's a tire shop (Good year), the street betwen both it's very visible and you'll see a black door at your right with two lamps (The wall it's very high).

Just knock the door, they open and let you in.

You had to take a drink meanwhile you are inside, and the women are around, some of them will ask directly if you are interested asking:"¿Quieres ir al cuarto?"

They are privates room for the drink with the girls, but you have to buy a bottle.

if you want a more personalized service, don't go in weekends or near payday, they got their hands full. (they don't "work" in Sunday)

La Yegua is located on Heriberto Allera street (not to be confused with a similarly named Heriberto street in another part of town). Buy a good map and look in the index under "A" for Allera. La Yegua apparently has no street number, but is on the west side about a hundred feet south of Avenida Constituyentes. Like Zaber said, look for the two big amber lights on the wall above a garage door. The door faces the Pemex station on the corner and is the only door in that block.

visitors to queretaro will find that as of the date of this posting that la yegua is open for business. everything in jackson's post of 7-7-01 on the old forum is still accurate, so this will serve as an update and cherubino will try to include some of the specifics cherubino would want to know the first time.

jackson says la yegua is the finest brothel in central mexico and cherubino thinks it could be the best anywhere. it is housed in a purpose-built structure located on calle heriberto allera about a hundred feet south of the intersection with avenida constituyentes. the building has no street number but all the cab drivers know the place. the front door faces the well lighted pemex station on the corner, across the street and one long block west of the hotel flamingo.

from the outside la yegua would appear to be a nondescript windowless warehouse taking up most of the block, but enter the large wooden garage door under the large amber wall lamps and you find yourself inside a motel-like building with dozens of rooms facing the inside paved courtyard where there is parking for several dozen cars. you can drive inside la yegua to park, but cherubino has seen the doorman direct one-occupant cars to park on the street. however you arrive, just knock to be checked out through the peephole then admitted.

once inside, keep to your left to enter the "showroom" which is a windowless low-ceiling room about 30x40 feet with an exotic dancer pole on a little stage in the middle and a wet bar against one wall. the north and south walls are lined with chairs and there are low chairs and tables filling the rest of the room. the furniture is so darned low it makes it appear everyone is squatting as around a campfire.

some of the girls do striptease and dance on the center stage. the white-haired lady sometimes found behind the bar is the duena (owner). don't order at the bar because you will not be served there; from the time you walk in one of the waiters will follow you around until you take a seat then he will take your drink order and bring it to you along with one of their short footstool tables. the obligatory first drink is $100 pesos and the girls' drinks $50 pesos.

there are some 60 girls who live on the premesis. among the girls are several high-mileage old pros, but most of the girls are under 30 and most of those 7-10s! there seem to always be a few stunning latinas at la yegua who will take your breath away. cherubino has found it a chalenge to get close to any of these, besides it is hard to talk with your breath taken from you.

cherubino likes to roam around and not be tied down to a table, but the layout at la yegua makes that kind of difficult. the waiters seem to always seat cherubino next to some #3 high-mileage girl who is hard to shake. all cherubino can say is to be polite but firm about who you want to meet. cherubino has had good success letting the girls come to him although it is difficult to handle a conversation with a #8 latina with a #3 already seated beside you kneading your crotch.

cherubino has never done the private-room thing and would appreciate anyone who could tell more about how that works.

you will need some spanish language skills to get along at la yegua because this far south of the border gringos are the exception and not the rule.

the clientele at la yegua is smartly dressed and apparently well heeled young mexican executives. the girl/guy ratio looks pretty unpromising when you first go in, but when cherubino visited, enough of the girls were curious about the lone gringo to come over for a chat. there is no dancing, just conversation and bargaining.

asking prices seem to be about $1000 pesos for an hour in the girls' room, cherubino bargained down to $750 pesos last thursday. the price quoted by the girl is inclusive of the room but don't forget to ask. as soon as your price is agreed, your latina will lead you out of the "showroom" to the courtyard where she will ask you to pay up front then she will disappear for a minute to go bank her money.

watch out for the "extra drink" scam, this is after the price is negotiated and then the girl wants an extra $50-$100 pesos for a drink to take to the room but then comes back empty handed counting on you to be destracted with thoughts of something warmer and softer than a drink soon to be in your hand. you need to have a cute answer like "but you'll spill tequila all over your bed" ready to use to avoid paying the extra $50-$100.

cherubino likes the gfe and la yegua has yet to let him down. la yegua must have a no-kissing rule in effect because the girls won't give out samples, but in the room it is gfe all the way with french kissing included. as always, it pays to be damned specific about what you expect to get, but cherubino has not been disappointed at la yegua yet.

Cherubino has never tried La Yegua prior to 9pm. If you are in the neighborhood, perhaps you could ask the guy at the door or at the Pemex station across the street, then let the rest of us know.

A friend of mine said the best hour to go it's after midnight in regular days (monday to wednesday, some people begin the party on thursday and weekend begin in friday) because it's less people and sometimes you can buy a ticket for win a girl's time, but avoid paydays that are the last and first days of the month and the middle, because most of people get paid bi-weekly (or as we say: "Quincena")

I don't know about the first hours of atention, but i agree that you can ask the employes of the pemex station, they always know because they can see the house all the time.

I just wanted to say that, though Jackson posted the report on La Yegua, etc, I sent it in through email, before the first discussion board was activated. At that time, all the reports were emailed in and then posted manually.

For a hotel, let me recommend the Holiday Inn Centro Historico on 5 de ferbrero. A bit expensive, $975.00NL per night for 2 adults and 2 children. Ambience is fantastic. Live music in the open patio area every night. Buffet three times a day and the service is impeccable.They do have vacation packages available that include meals. The food is great, menu or buffet! Going back in December and would like info on strip clubs and other entertainment as this trip was strictly family and structured.

Absolutely! The Holiday Inn there in Queretaro is nothing like those in the USA. A great place to hang out even if not staying there and the patio bar always seems to be a popular gathering spot for couples with a few singles thrown in.

If your interest is proximity to Queretaro's greatest monger's attraction La Yegua, then I would prefer the Hotel Flamingo. It is close and there is no problem bringing a girl back to your room so long as you paid the double rate when you checked in. Further down the street, the Hotel Impala is also good, no problem with girls in the room, secure parking, etc. but you and your girl have to enter through the lobby. The Fiesta Inn near the Holiday Inn is also good. Downtown there is a rustic old place Hotel Hidalgo that will make you feel you have stepped back into the 19th century, though I have never taken a girl there.

Finally made it to La Yegua Friday night. Despite excellent instructions on this board, I walked by the place twice without seeing it. It is a half block down the street from the big avenida (Contruyentes?) and the amber lights are blocked by a street vendor selling tacos.
Some more info: The place opens at 8:30 pm and is closed every Sunday. 1st drink is mandatory and is 105 pesos. All other drinks for you and the girls are 55 pesos. The layout has been described here before. Two walls of women in chairs - about 25 on each side with the men in the middle sitting on very low chairs. The quality of the girls amazed me. Most were 20-30 and all (almost) were VERY attractive. The thought that I could sleep with any of these women made my head spin. The weird thing was that all the women were by themselves as were all the men - like at a high school dance. Very strange! I sat for a long time alone before an attractive morena approached me - to buy a raffle ticket for 100 pesos. She expained that none of the women were allowed to approach men, you had to call them out. I wanted to walk over and check each one out, but didn´t. Soon I was joined by the oldest woman in the room - over 40? and several levels below the others. We talked and drank. Why was she allowed to approach me? Don´t know, but the only two older women in the place were working the room. Special rules for the elderly?

You can probably guess what happened. I went with the oldest and least attractive woman. She was a good talker and had some interesting "assets" for me to check out. I thought I´d get a good deal. She wanted 1200! No way. 1000? Sorry. 800? OK I went with her and enjoyed the ride. No rush and very sweet.

Some observarions: Many of the girls were blondes, more than half! I like the traditional morena look. Also too many giant shoes (hate them) and fake tits (hate them) along with the hair dye and wigs. But that aside, these women were very attractive, surprisingly so. I was told that this is one of the safest places in Mexico. A doctor takes blood samples and gives exams every Thursday. Rubbers for everything. You start with a dick cleaning and exam by the girl and she washes you with a disinfectant. She uses an antibiotic cream from the doctor everynight after finishing her work. At least that is what they told me. Could be BS.

Some numbers: The girls stay free in their rooms 6 nights a week. The give 250 to the house for every trick and the house keeps all drink money. Will accept 700-800 but won´t bargain much lower - unless a real dead night. Some women may want more. Average 2-5 tricks a night. Do the math - thats about 50K US per year with NO taxes. A lot of money here, a fortune in Mexico. Check it out. Next time I´ll hold off and try the younger talent. Total cost is about $100-$125 complete for a night of entertainment. Not cheap, but worth it. Check it out . . .

Sounds like you might have met Veronica. A nice lady, and judging from Cherubino's own experience as well as what he has heard, she is okay if you go for the more mature type. She has been there off and on at least 10 years.

Cherubino did not know there was a rule against the girls approaching clients... that explains a hell of a lot. Darn rules keep changing! Cherubino plans to head over there in the next day or two, so the update was most helpful.

Some more info on Queretaro ;
I tried the Holiday Inn - full and expensive and the Fiesta Inn next door. Fiesta wanted 1100 peso +tax = $128 US a night. That is a bit much for Mexico plus they are located on a very busy street a good ways from el centro. I stayed at Hotel Amberes at 350 a night, no tax. Very clean, nice people, very Mexican and a good/ cheap restaurant as well. 3 nights plus my food was about 1300 pesos =$135. Try it. A good location near Hidalgo Park near el centro.
As to La Yegua, I believe every woman is available, you just need to ask her. I was told to make eye contact and wave or call out "Chica, Ven aca!" They are NOT playing hard to get - only following the rules. Also, I was told that the girls NEVER rip off a client in any way for fear of losing their job. Same with waiters. The white haired matron - who was there at the bar - runs a very tight ship, has political connections and doesn´t want to screw up a good thing. Any problems, tell her and she will fix it.

Well Prokofiev, Cherubino did not actually get ripped off at La Yegua but neither can he continue to say he has never been disappointed there.

First of all, it seems the proper name of the place is "La Yeguita SA de CV" because that is what is printed on the cash register receipt now; address says Heriberto Allera #4 (even though there does not appear to be a #1 or #2 or #3 on that street).

Thursday night Cherubino saw something never before seen at this address... fewer than ten girls and all of those the older residents. There certainly were dozens of genuinely lovely young latinas there three months ago, but not tonight. The girls know a seller's market when they see one and the asking price of pussy was up $300 pesos over last May. The price of the obligatory first drink is up from $100 to $105.

I can't believe that the server went down during my Mexican trip! I was hoping for more info - both to add and check out during my stay. Oh well. Cherubino, what time were you there? I went around 9 pm on a Friday nite which is rather early considering they open at 8:30. Had to be 40-50 girls and many of them were early 20's and knock-outs. I had a good time for 800 pesos, although I wish I had held out for one of the cuties.

The thing I observed with many of the Mexican guys is that they come in a small group and share a bottle. I believe that the "cantina etiquette"is to let the boys alone while they drink and talk, hence the no approaching rule. But the talent was definitely there, big time . . . and considering the safety of the girls medical program - if you believe it- a pretty good deal.

Over the years La Yegua seems to always be predictable. Money paid before going to the room, a dick washing with warm washrag before the lights get dimmed, and no more hanging around the room after you come. Now that Cherubino has discovered Nuevo Laredo, it is easy to see there is a big difference with NL featuring a lot of amateur talent while the girls at La Yegua are all pros (even the 18-year olds) who stick to the script.

Never really had a bad experience at La Yegua, but that one night last month the selection was not there.

I heard you have been through Celaya Gto. and i was wondering if you can share some info on the scene down there. Any brothels or places to get laid. Also how do the stripclubs work. I haven't really been active in Celaya in a good while, and I have heard from a few girls that things have changed and that there have been some crackdowns and whatnot. I do know that as of 3 years ago basically any bar along the main strip north of the center that leads to the highway to Queretaro and the road to San Miguel de Allende was 90% sure to have hookers.

I have heard that there is a "casa de citas" in Celaya from some of the girls as well, but as far as I know there is no brothel.

I have an "amiga" that lives in Celaya and I still am in contact with. I have known her for coming up on 4 years. She is willing to meet people I send to her, if you are interested.

As far as Comonfort goes.... I sincerely doubt that there is any action there. It has a population of about 400 or so in the town itself. Also it is about 25 minutes from Celaya and 15-20 minutes from San Miguel. Any girls that needed work would certainly head a bit down the road. Same for the patrons, I imagine.

Anyhow, you are definitely not out of reach from either place, I wouldn't waste my time looking for low quality action there.

I have been meaning to find the time to give you a posting since last Sunday, my most recent foray to Queretaro.

After knocking about a bit for business reasons, I decided to pass by the SW area on Avenidad Universitario & Av. Anyway I wanted see if anyone young and interesting was there - very occasionally there is a young gem there. To my surprise, there was not one single SW to be seen. Surprising because usually after 9pm, even on Sundays there will be at least 15-20.

There was however a pickup truck parked with two Mexican gentlemen who were rather drunk.

I asked them where the SWs were hanging out now, since I assumed that some sort of LE crackdown or what have you had run the girls to a new area.

No, they explained, actually the girls just stopped working Sundays, for whatever reason. But, one of them said, you can try the "casa de citas", and handed a business card that said "Lady Night" and a telephone number: 215-42-02. But they said you had to call them to get directions.

I thanked them, and called the number and a very nice girl proceeded to give me more or less complicated instructions on getting there, and since I have been to Qro. many times, but really never learned the names of any streets, the directions weren't really any good at all, but I had their address and also the general location, on the other side of the Kellogg's cereal plant.

Since the SW area is about 1/4 mile from the plant, well, I figured I would just blunder through it, and get close, then ask, thinking if all else failed, I would just pay a taxi to drive to it & follow him.

As it turns out, asking directions only twice, got me right to the door.

It is in a really rough looking neighborhood. In the US this kind of neighborhood would have crack dealers, street hos and drive by shootings. Luckily in Mexico, though the poverty exists, the drug related crime does not. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about leaving my car there, but since this was going to be a quick "in & out" I didn't worry too much.

Anyhow, the house is a little 2 story dump, a duplex in a neighborhood of cinderblock duplexes, so close to the Kelloggs plant that it smelled like coco crispies outside.

Anyhow, the girl let me in, and she was the only one there, her name was Susi. She was young, slender, 19 year-old girl with A or B tits.

The cost, she explained was $350 pesos for 30 minutes of "relacion", in the upstair bedroom loft, with the Casa's señora asleep on the couch downstairs. At first I thought that this might have been Susi's mom, but when we were upstairs, she laughed about that, and said her mom lived in Celaya.

Her rules, no mouth kissing, but the $350 did include "oral motivation", BBO. I also asked her about anal, and she says she will do that for an extra $300. Also, she told me that to come to your hotel, these girls charge $500 pesos per hour.

After hearing about Fiesta Charra, Queretaro's Strip Club for nearly 2 years, I finally got my act together and accompanied by WSG forum reader, "DollarBill", an American who is lucky enough to reside in Qro, I made the plunge last Saturday.

First of all it was packed to the gills with Mexicans, and there were about 45 guys lined up outside hoping to be able to get in. Luckily Bill had some juice with the manager, and we were able to get inside after about a 5 minute wait and a $50 peso tip each.

The manager shooed some boys away from a table at the corner of the stage and we sat down and got a bucket of beer.

I have to say that the bar's prices seemed reasonable compared to the strip clubs of Mexico City and even San Miguel de Allende.

Because I ended up drinking quite a bit, I don't remember the actual prices for a cubeta (bucket of beer), but it wasn't exhorbitant, even though they were pony bottles, the half size bottles that bars like this sometimes have.

I think the final bar tab was about $370 pesos (~37 US) at the end of the night, and that was for 18 beers and several random mixed drinks for one of the girl's birthday.

At Fiesta Charra, everything is tickets - each one costs 60 pesos. The girls charge one ticket to dance at your table. They charge 2 tickets for a dance in the booth (which can have up to 8 dancers in it with customers).

Also they have a 2nd floor area, which you pay extra to be in, I didn't go up there, so can't tell you how much it costs, though Bill told me. Like I said, I ended up drinking quite a bit.

Anyhow, we got in at around 10:30 and we stayed til closing, 2 AM.

Hotel Venus - Queretaro, QRO Autopisa Mexico km 210 (north side)

I just wanted to report that a good "love motel" to visit if you have gotten yourself a "working" girl is called Hotel Venus. cost is 250 pesos for the entrance to the room, and you can use it as long as you need to. Had to check it out last Saturday, since I've never been there - and unfortunately, I had to go by myself. As DollarBill mentioned, it's located on Celaya Libre between El Pueblito and the Simmons plant on the south side of the road. Here's some updated info on "Punto G" -still its good old self at Av. Universidad #306. Information as of December 2004.

Minimum consumption is DOWN to 120.00 pesos. A compulsory tip of 10% is automatically added to the bill, so NMP 120.00 +12.00 = NMP 132.00

Like before drinks for the girls can run really high, and they've also gotten the knack of the double-drink routine (regular tequila = NMP 70.00, double tequila = NMP 140.00). Double drinks require you to sign two boletos - you've been warned.

Table dances (still length of one song) are DOWN to NMP 70.00; privados are also DOWN to NMP 140.00. The "Privado especial" is UP to 700 pesos (in private booth, length of approx. three songs, usually including CBJ; YMMV, of course).

No info about FS take-out on in-house.

Last time I was there, there were about 10 girls - about half new ones I'd never seen, the rest some of the old regulars (Eva, Paola, etc.). The standard of the girls is as usual. Also based on the new pricing structure, I got the impression that the girls were slightly moving into the OPS direction - a bit pushier about drinks, and actually less inclined to get money through table dances, privados, and privados especiales. I posted my info as a reference only for those that might want to know how much they will get ripped off on those types of drugs here in Mexico.

When I have traveled to Central or South America, I always look for a generic equivilent. I could get a 2 pill generic version in Colombia for as little as $0.50 US a pill, and in San Salvador, the cost per pill was about $3.00 US for the same generic brand that I bought in Colombia. That price is still way better than the non-generic versions prices.

Went there last Friday, definitely the busiest night of the week, and there were a whopping 16 girls there. I was also explained that if you buy a full bottle (rum, tequila), you get a complementary table dance. Had never ever heard anything like that. Also, at one point in time, all the girls were on stage, another new element in the choreography.

In my most recent post about Punto G, I had written that I had gotten the impression that the girls were getting a bit pushier about drinks, and actually less inclined to get money through table dances, privados, or privados especiales. Unfortunately, I can confirm this initial assessment, and I also regret I have to report that this practice is actually getting worse. Here's what happened:

As soon as I arrived there, one girl, Noemi (from Veracruz, big DD fake boobs), came over and sat with me. She asked for a double ladies drink, which I agreed to. Waiter came, I signed the TWO boletos, fine. Then, I took her to a privado, which essentially sucked. Very unenthusiastic, no DATY, let alone French kissing. Not my cup of tea. Sent her on the way immediately afterwards.

When it came time to pay the check, the waiter presented me with FOUR boletos for TWO double ladies drinks. Two with my signature, two with another one. When I inquired, I was told that Noemi had ordered another double drink and signed the boletos herself since we were on the way to the Privado. I refused to accept this explanation on the basis that the standard procedure was clear: a girl orders a drink for herself only if and when I give my approval by signing the corresponding boletos and that, under no circumstance, any girl anywhere has the right to sign on my behalf. Ultimately, this posture was accepted by management, although it took nearly half an hour of hammering that point home to the waiter (who is my standard waiter there, and a friend who lives in my neighborhood), after threatening to never ever come back (and to a certain extent, I could be considered a regular there), after threatening to report this incident on different message boards, and after ultimately suggesting to call the police if they failed to take this charge off my bill. Ultimately, Management's common sense prevailed, although it was time-consuming and unpleasant, needless to say.

The difference on the tab was NMP 140.00. Not major, but I just hate unacceptable behavior as described above, especially considering that I've spent some dough there, introduced several people to the joint, and never ever have caused any sort of problem or treated anyone with less than full respect there.

Conclusion:

1. Avoid Noemi like the plague. She was the first girl to approach me that nite, and as always, I should have followed the golden rule of never going with the first girl that approaches you. Always a mistake.

2. For me personally, this is the end of ladies drinks at Punto G once and for all. This was my first bad experience, but actually, I never liked the concept of ladies drinks, anway. I go to watch the girls and get my hands on them, not to talk with them and drink with them. Period. Or to use another golden rule I did not follow: I just pay for the girl to go away afterwards (and not to spend time with me). Considering that Management ultimately recognized their mistake, I'll give Punto G another chance sometime in the future, but with added precautionary measures.

3. If you go and buy ladies drinks, make sure your absolutely clear about how the procedure works. Singles NMP 70.00, doubles 140.00, double drinks require you to sign two boletos. Check prices before you sign. And don't ever accept any BS about girls signing anything.

Seems to me from personal experience that it would be hard to top that place for variety and availability. Maybe 40 or 50 women, all available at a reasonable price and some quite stunning. You guys got to realize that while the prices for these seem expensive compared to what you pay in the U.S. pharmacies, you do not have the hassle or expense of seeing a doctor for a prescription and all that other happy horse shiit! That saves about $120.00 or so.

I can generally confirm this assessment as of yesterday, Friday, when I decided to check out the scene a bit rather than just heading over to Punto G, my usual hangout (which is actually just in the back of of this area, although facing the actually University campus, and also on the street called Universidad... this may be confusing, I know). Either way, every cabbie knows the SW area, since it's the only one allowed in this city. Should there be any trouble finding it, tell him to go the Rio Ayutla Bar and Hotel (the motel where the girls will take you by default and outside of which they hang out).

Yesterday at around 11:30 PM, there were about 20 girls/women, and to my great surprise, 5 or 6 looked quite doable (looks 6 or higher), some of them even shaggadelic (7-8 in terms of looks), plus 2 or 3 in the "sexual emergency" category (looks 5). The rest was the usual old, fat, obnoxious hags that would make me want to rather break my right arm whacking off than even consider to be within a mile from them. But compared with earlier times that I had passed there, the fact there was actually anything, something worth giving a second look was already a great improvement. La Chiva (the place reported by Dollar Bill) is located in the Community of Apaseo el Grande in the state of Guanajuato, about 25-30 minutes from Querétaro on the Autopista Celaya Cuota. The official name of the joint is El Corral de la Chiva. Everyone in town, however, simply refers to it as la Chiva.

Can you be a bit more specific on the location of La Chiva? I live in Celaya now and travel the cuota to and from the house. This is almost in my backyard it appears.

I have been looking for some extra attractions around the area. So far, I have found Cleopatra's on the main drag in Celaya and Luxxor Ladies Bar on the eastern end of town but have not had the opportunity to check out either of them.

BorderJumber - it would be hard to give you specific instructions as to how to get there. El Austriaco provided you the town (which is located on cuota between Celaya and Qro.).

Normally, we go the centro and ask a cabbie to point us in the right direction.

Took a cab for about 35 Pesos to the strip club Punto G. Prices have gone up from El Austriaco`s last post. Minimum drinks consuption 130 (regular size beer is 33), small chica drink 77, large chica drink 154, 10 percent tip added to bill, 140 privado, 750 privado especial which includes a CBJ.

In Queretaro, your best bets are the strip clubs: Oops, Punto G, Fiesta Charra, in that order in terms of looks as well as prices. Locations and current prices are listed in the reports here. In none of these places, intercourse is available on site, generally, so it's all takeout, and not all the girls might do it (it really depends on each individual girl). Onsite, you go to the so-called privados ("private dances", touching and sucking definitely encouraged, some girls even permit DATY, DFK, etc., unlike the US). Touching the butt is definitely ok... sticking a finger in the ass? I don't think so. Would really surprise me. Maybe, just maybe if you pay for a privado especial at Punto G (which includes a covered BJ), and you find the right girl.. but I don`t think it's very likely. That would be a first for me... Go by cab, it's the easiest way to go. Write down the name of the place on a piece of paper and hand it to the cabbie (they know all these places, anyway) or have the reception desk explain it to them. Cab rates to any of these places should never be more than roughly NMP 50, maybe more to OOPS, since it's a bit far out.

It's not like they are used to huge amounts of gringos, but it's also not impossible to navigate without English. Tourism here has been increasing over the past few years, although it is still not a huge expatriate community like in San Miguel de Allende.

I don't speak much Spanish and I will say that this was a tough place to find. I can say that if you follow Technologies to Universidad, turn left and it's about 200m on the right, set back off the road a bit.

Generally, no cabbie should have a problem finding Punto G, considering that it has been around at least a few years now. The confusing thing about the address is that Universidad actually makes a loop just before you reach the highway, as shown on attached Google image. Punto G is located at Av. Universidad #306 on the section of Universidad that faces the actual unversity (UAQ) campus rather than on the part running along the Querétaro river (which is what most people commonly refer to as Universidad). I have marked Punto G on the attached image to establish the location once and for all. As you can see, Punto G faces the big monument on the Cerro de las Campanas, which is a part of the UAQ campus. As you can furthermore see, it is a big white building somewhat set back from the street (as a matter of fact, it is not even visible from the street). Usually, there are a few cars parked outside the gates and a number of cabs hanging around.

BTW, right behind Punto G, around the bend of Universidad running along the Querétaro River (on the side running East towards Tecnológico), that's where the SWs hang out in the vicinity of the Rio Ayutla Bar and Hotel.

I have never been to Punto G before 11:00 PM, so it does not surprise me there was little action on a Wednesday before that time. I think (just think) opening time is 10:00 PM, closing time is definitely 02:30 AM. Punto G is open Monday through Saturday (definitely closed on Sundays), with Thursday through Saturday being the busiest nights. Generally, there is little reason to go before midnight or 11:00 PM at the earliest. On some Friday nights, it might be difficult to get a table around midnight, which is the busiest time. Needless to say, the selection of girls increases dramatically on those days, too, up to a maximum of approx. 15. During the week, I can confirm that there are usually 7 to 8 there, no more.

During the week, with so few girls around, there might in fact be slim pickings if you are looking for a specific type. Of course, like elsewhere in Mexico, Punto G has its fair share of the stockier types that are not my preferred body type. On weekends, I generally always find two or three really hot chicks, IMHO. Of course, there's always bound to be a group of somewhat inebriated Mexicans who can never figure out the check and who has to pay what and what not and go on and on and on about it. We go back and forth until I finally said, "Well, the walking rate is 0, so I guess I am getting off here at Tecnológico". Walked two blocks, hailed another cabbie, who charged me 25...

And don't drink OJ in Punto G: 40 pesos. You're better off with soft drinks (refrescos) at 20 Pesos. Or beer, of course, at 30. Anyhow. It was a healthy evening for me. Finally had a chance to get together with Dollar Bill, the other Querétaro mongering legend, and hit a spot in the community of Pedro Escobedo, a good 20 minutes on the highway from Querétaro in the direction of Mexico City, about half way between Querétaro and San Juan del Rio. So we went there last Saturday. Here's my report on it (since Dollar Bill, to use his own words, is way too busy to write about it).

When I saw the outside, I just had to smile as the memories came flashing back. As a matter of fact, I realized I had been to Bongo before, a long time ago. It must have been back in May or June of 2003, when two Mexicans I got to know one night partying decided to take me there in their drunken stupor. I was new to Querétaro at the time, I had no idea about the nightlife or how things worked in Mexico, but I was curious and went along. Ever since, I have wondered whether that place (whose name I couldn't recall for the life of me) was still around. Anyhow, I had found more local alternatives in Querétaro. But still, I was almost nostalgic about it. After all, it was the site of my first Mexican P4P experience.

But there we were, in front of Bongos. The joint didn't look bad: apparently, it had received a much needed facelift. Entrance was NMP 20.00 (and the pendejo door guy immediately asked for a tip, of course. Bad sign!). Well, the interior looked better than I remember from the past, though my memory is sketchy. Just your typical Mexican girlie bar in this part of the woods.

Prices for drinks were very reasonable (NMP 30.00 for beers, NMP 25.00 for soft drinks, don't remember other prices, but they seemed fully in line with what you pay in these bars). As to the infamous lady's drinks (creatively spelt as "Leidy's" drinks in Bongos), they followed the usual distinction between single and double ones: NMP 60.00 for singles, NMP for doubles. Not cheap, but actually a bit less than in other places in the area. Needless to say, to sit on the tables right next to the stage, you usually have to buy a bottle of brandy (Presidente) or rum. If not, these tables are not for you.

In terms of sexual services, two types were available: table dances and privados, both the length of one song. For the privados, you just take the girl to one of the booths in the corner diametrically opposite the entrance and behind the stage. Table dances are NMP 60.00, privados NMP 120.00. Again, perfectly in line with other places in the area. Keep in mind, though, that when you buy tickets from the boletero, you need to specify what you want: the yellow tickets are for table dances and cost NMP 60.00, the orange ones are for privados and cost NMP 120.00. This is different from other places I have been to in that you can not simply combine two NMP 60.00 tickets for a privado. So don't forget about that.

Now, on to the girls. My first reaction was very positive. By the time we got there (roughly 10:45 PM on a Saturday, so clearly a busy night), there were about 10 of them, including a few stunners (by Mexican standards, of course). Of all the girls, there was really only one certifiably fugly old hag, all the others were actually quite doable. In this respect, Bongo compared quite favorably with other places I have been to, which always only seemed to have three or four decent ones, with all the rest... well, I don't even want to get into that.

So we had a drink and checked out the girls. I am someone who doesn't like to be rushed, so I took my time, and no surprise, DollarBill was the first to pick a table dance, with a somewhat older brunette with a very nice body. Cons:

- Too far from the city of Queretaro to cab it, and even if you were so inclined, the cost of a cab would make it more expensive than joints in Querétaro proper (Fiesta Charra, Punto G). So you definitely need a car to get there; otherwise, forget it.
- Performance during the privados was sort of hit-and-miss. In that respect, I would say that I have gotten more consistently good performances in Punto G.

So to sum things up, if you are in the area and have a car, you might want to check it out just for a different flavor. If you stay in Querétaro without a car, the usual options in the city offer pretty much the same at roughly the same price (Fiesta Charra) or only a slightly higher one (Punto G).

There are a few options:

1) Strip clubs (Fiesta Charra, Punto G, Oops)
2) Casas de Citas (like la Yegua)
3) SWs (on Universidad)

1) Strip clubs

As I and others have mentioned, at these places, table dances and privados are available onsite, in some cases even CBJs (Punto G), but they don't have on-site facilities for FS. Some girls may do FS, some may not. Usually, the rates are pretty expensive for takeout service, sometimes with a takeout fee of some NMP 1000, plus fees between 1500 to 2000 pesos for the girl. Considering the cost, I have never done it, but you may try if money is no issue for you.

2) Casas de Citas

These are more traditional type brothels, such like la Yegua, though the ones that I know of are pretty small and just feature a few girls, nothing more. Some have a bar area, in some cases, you just walk into the living room of a private home where a few bored girls are hanging out. It's really pretty much wham-bam-thank-you-Mam, but at around NMP 500 or so, the price is about right.

Over the recent years, there haven't been a lot of reports here on these places, so I mention one that I like, called 28 (because it is located on 5 de febrero No. 28, in a pretty industrial area). By now, they have a NMP 100 entrance fee, which includes two Cuba libres. Prices are pretty reasonable. They usually have about 10 girls there in a huge, bar-like area, though I was never impressed enough with any of the chicks to actually go with a girl from there. As far as I know, the fee to do a girl onsite is NMP 500 (usually one pop). I have gone there more to check out the scene and for after-hours drinking and partying (they are easily open until 5 AM, and sometimes, I have been there until 8 in the morning). Again, the quality of girls is certainly not overwhelming: last month, I had to go twice to finally see one, ONE girl that, if she was in Rio, I would actually fuck for 10 dollars. I know, I know, I am spoilt :)

There are several casas de citas around town, I think the best way would be just to ask a cabbie. The one reported above is the only one I know well, though I have been to other ones, but that was a while ago, and I don't remember too many details any more.

3) SWs

As reported on this thread, SWs can be found at night along Av. Universidad, in the area of the Rio Ayutla bar. As far as I know, this is the cheapest way to get laid in Querétaro when on a quick swing through town, though the quality of some of the "girls" (if one could even call some of them that...) might be downright nasty, and the actual performance worse. Pricing around NMP 400 or so, including room.

Possible other option?

One additional option would be escorts, which are much harder to come by in Querétaro, since officially, they can not advertise, so it's entirely word of mouth and sort of semi-legal (which, of course, also makes it "semi-illegal"). In any case, while I know that they do exist, I have no actually contact info on them. Perhaps others on the board do (hint, hint) :)

Had a chance to return there a couple of weeks ago with a friend from Austria, so I think I'd write a quick update. This place still has a NMP 100 entrance fee, which covers two Cuba libres OR four (small) beers. When I was there on a Saturday night, there were about 20 girls there, including one really hot stunner (at least an 8 in my book, which means on the young side, slim, and pretty face). I was around to see the final fate of the "Bar 28" in Queretaro, the place is working again, with a few changes, they extended or change operations to the house at the left of the main place, is like other reports, in the main nights (weekends and after paydays) they are a lot of girls (a top of 20 maybe, they are incoming as the night pass), 2 or 3 that are worth the visit.

The difference is that now they charge you with a 100 pesos cover ticket that you can change inside by 4 beers or two drinks (very expensive for my taste). At the left of the place are the change rooms and privates, in the main room are plastic tables and chairs, a very used pool table and some wood furnitures, for a change now they have some metallic tubes where from time in time the girls pose like they were dancing, but is not a scheduled role. Also a pit or low level with a screen projector, all walls and floors in rough cement with low light

I chat with a young man that appears to be a frequent customer, he told me that some of the girls come from outside the city, even from "El corral de la chiva" a similar place in "Apaseo el Grande" a small town about 25 minutes from Queretaro, also I saw a good looking girl that come with the partner of this young man, he told me that the girl give him a good leisure time for 500 pesos so this is the average rate depending of the place and the girl.

This is not an elegant place, but is an alternative to more expensive and less friendly spots, where they try to squeeze the most of your money.

The way you describe it, it seems the place opened up again to operate exactly as before. You know, the "main place" you describe (the one with the big door with the letters "28") hasn't seen any action for years, at least two years or something like that, and the MEX 100.00 entrance fee has been in effect for at least a year or so, too.

As to drink prices being expensive: hm, not so sure about that. Sure, the four beers you get for your entrance ticket are of the small kind, but MEX 50.00 for a Cuba Libre is not bad for any place anywhere in Querétaro, table dance or not. Just to keep things in perspective: a couple of weeks ago, I got invited to watch the first leg of the Mexican Liguilla semifinals at "La Cantina de Los Remedios", a pretty nice, but still run-of-the-mill cantina on the Mexico City-end of Constituyentes, right next to Freetime, actually. No botanas, no cute waitresses, lousy service, tried to overcharge me and displayed a bad attitude when I called them on it, and needless to say, no table dances. Cost for a beer? MEX 34.00. My GF had a michelada (actually, a beer with clamato), which came to, yes, MEX 70.00. Almost seven bucks. So compared to that, 28's prices are definitely not bad, IMHO.

The operative word here is "claim": government agencies can "claim" pretty much anything here in Mexico to simply shut down a business, thereby pressuring them to come up with the necessary dough to keep operating. Seems like another case of a place who just didn't come up with enough cash, or not fast enough, or didn't bribe the right people. Do you remember the former Don Quintín in Centro, which was shut down for a few months every year and finally permanently, until it recently reemerged under the name "La Mulata"? Same story. Really doesn't matter whether they have an alcohol license or not as long as you follow this basic rule: don't be late paying the right people. Business as usual in this part of the woods :)

Just a little report to let you know current pricing at La Yegua.

Prices for first drink (rum, wiskey, water, or softdrink) = $105 MN (same price for whichever).

2nd drink ~ $65 MN.

Private dances (in private booth) = $200 MN (1 song)

1/2 hour (10 min tolerance time is allowed so you can get 40 mins if you can dress very fast) session in room = $1500 MN

I did a really cute (slim with very nice figure) from Tampico that quoted me $3000 MN for a couple of hours outside of club in hotel. I think that is too high, but got her nextel radio # just in case. I find a huge bag of money somewhere. ;-)

Ok, maybe you are right, but the place you describe "La Cantina de los Remedios" is one of those expensive places where they charge you for the some called "level" of the place, there are other places where they charge you less for a simple beer and a good ambient. Of course talking about regular places.

But in the other hand, "El corral de la Chiva" in Apaseo el grande don't charge you with a cover, beer are 15-20 pesos and there are a lot of girls, there is even snack or a light meal if you are early and drinking, the only down is that the privates are very uncomfortable, and the lack of privacy of those.

Thanks for the observations about the 28, I was there just a couple of times, the first time a few weeks after the raid and I guess that they were operating in other way to keep a low profile.

I normally don't do Punto G much anymore, but a Korean friend of mine is moving to NY and we were out for his "bon voyage" send off party.

One of the best places in Queretaro is on the road toCelaya, it is called la Cabaña and you need a car to get there, some taxi drivers will take you but you need to figure out how to come back.

As a foreigner working in Queretaro I'll report on the conditions as I've seen them in Queretaro over the last two years. Everyone can see from the lack of traffic in this forum that the mongering scene here in Queretaro seems to be almost dead or possibly driven underground.

The La Yegua brothel is still up and operating at last report, but rumor has it the place isn't very gringo-friendly and seems to me to be a complete rip-off. SWs can be seen along Universidad after dark but the available talent there's nothing to get excited about. The big issue for mongers here's that independent escorts are very hard to locate and so far every one of them I've contacted eventually turns out to be associated with an agency (read pimp).

There are a lot of ads for escorts in Queretaro and over in nearby Celaya appearing on the Spanish [URL]locanto.com.mx[/URL] web site. That site doesn't offer any ability to post a review. Other ads are found on [URL]avisoseroticos.com[/URL] where the deal is the same. No reviews and no feedback. Most of the ads on those sites give you only one picture of the girl or a part of her. Almost all the ads on both sites tend to want all contact to be by voice call. None of them has ever answered any of my phone text messages. I once sent texts to 24 cell phone numbers, ZERO responses. And very few of them will do WhatsApp and those that do usually only tell you to voice call.

There are a few Tapatias (from Guadalajara) here in Queretaro who appear to not be connected to the pimps and they seem to be only the ones who make much use of WhatsApp for texting. I tried a couple of them with disappointing results. I called one who advertised she was 21 years old and completely independent. She might've been independent but she was also 21 going on 30. The bottom line is that if you search for escorts on Twitter what you'll find in Queretaro are several agencies.

There seems to exist a dark undercurrent to the prostitution in Queretaro with a lot of clues pointing to the fact that pimping is alive and well here. If you take time to keep track of the phone numbers on those web sites I mentioned you'll find the names of several girls using the same phone number. Two times I've tried to contact girls via WhatsApp who appeared to be independents but I got a voice response from a male saying to voice call him for more info. I didn't bother. I shy away from pimps.

Most of the local love motels are lined up along Bernado Quintana on the north side of town. These are the Lisboa, Magno, Las Vegas, and Luxor. There are a few others on the outskirts of the city. All of these are drive-in arrangements where the gatekeeper will take your payment as you enter and direct you to park in the garage attached to your room. You pay up front for the room and there's no opportunity to wait for your date in a lobby. Actually the Magna does have what might once have been a lobby and restaurant but it's abandoned with no furniture now. If you arrive solo in a taxi you can expect the burly gatekeeper to offer that he can call one of his girls for you. ZonaDiva girls come to town from time to time but they seem to shy away from the centrally-located motels in favor of a couple on the outskirts of town.

After several awful experiences here in Queretaro I gave it up. Here you've to pay up front for a room and two outa three times the girl I thought was an independent turned out to be somebody else the agency sent and she didn't match the pictures, not even close. But she's you boxed in and for all you know she's some gorilla driver waiting outside. I paid 1500 pesos for service worse than street walker. No kissing, no BJ just one poke and out in 20 minutes.

The mongering scene here in Queretaro is as bad as ever and I do not even try shopping locally any more. Here is what I have done for my last two trips to CDMX. Before leaving Queretaro I do my homework and setup several dates for my one night in town. I schedule them 2-3 hours apart usually. I tell them the hotel where I am staying but girls won't meet in the lobby and I don't know why. I tell the girl that if she is running late she has to text me and not texting means she wants to cancel. I only send a picture of the room key when they say they are on their way. That way I am not stuck waiting on a girl who already knows my room number and I am free to setup a date with the next girl on the list and not have to worry about two showing up. If the girl does arrive then I always text all the other girls to cancel and show them the respect they do not show me. So far I have only had one girl who fooled me to send her my room number then she arrived 3 hours late. All the others have been no more than a hour late.

Mexican escorts are flaky and unreliable in the extreme and when they do show up they are unapologetically late. Double-booking is the only way I know that keeps me from wasting a trip.

So on Saturday I was on an errand that took me an hour out of town on the local bus. On the way back to Queretaro the bus stopped a bunch of times for locals. In one of the small pueblas two very attractive young ladies got on. They were both eights and dressed to the nines, short low and tight, about 20 years old. Luckily for me they took seats across the isle from me so I was able to chat up the one closest to me. They were headed into Queretaro and I wondered where they were going on a Friday afternoon so dressed up. They could've be going to a wedding but those big purses they were toting hinted otherwise. I couldn't tell if they were pros or civilians so I behaved myself in the conversation and ended up getting one name and number.

Later when I called a male voice answered and wanted to know if I was looking for a date. I just told him somebody had asked for information about Jehova's Witnesses. He hung up. I think that reveals a lot about the mongering situation in this town that both those girls had a chance to make a one on one contact avoiding the pimp but didn't pursue it.

Queretaro strip clubs:

In my opinion, Queretaro is pretty dead. There are two strip clubs that I have been to: La Yeguita and the Fiesta Charra. Many good looking women and other activities can be arranged, but it will be expensive (I. E. More than $200 USD). To my why of thinking very low value.

Guanajuato strip clubs. Celaya small city close to Queretaro (about 30 - 45 minutes depending on where you are staying):

There are some strip clubs on the free highway "el libre" (left hand side heading towards Celaya from QRO / south side) - I don't remember the names well; maybe, El Caballo Negro?. These are Mexican bars, but you will be treated well. The guys are there for a good time just like you and do not look for trouble or hassle you because you are a "gringo. " Now, if you act like an entitled a**hole, you will have problems, but that is universal.

There are some fuglies, good-looking, and all in between. There are booths on premise with a curtain. Better yet, is to meet a girl (the newbies start in places like this) and set-up something offsite. Many girls come in from Guadalajara, Leon, Aguascalietentes, etc. And get bored during the day. Anyway, you can have a blast and the girls are up for some fun. Total damage for a night should be less than $2000 pesos (about $120 USD right now). God, how I wish the El Corral de Las Chivas was still open. That place was great, but oh well. I guess they didn't pay off the right people.

Please note that I have never had an issue at these places, but a bar called the Cabaa (just as you cross over stateline from Queretaro to Guanajuato) was shot-up about a year ago with some of the girls and patrons being injured / killed. This is not usual, but I would be remiss not to mention it.

When going to any club do the following:

1. Don't get drunk.

2. Negotiate / pay in pesos.

3. Pay for each drink as you get it. No tabs.

4. Do not use credit cards.

5. Dress down and leave the bling home. I will go in old jeans, long-sleeve button down shirt, and work boots.

Escorts:

Forget them. Not worth it in QRO. Most are from out of town and work for agencies. Big time hassle. Many will ask that you get a room in one of the love motels, before she will come over. And never, ever deposit in an OXXO. Sure scam.

Seeking Arrangement:

My personal favorite. Works like a charm. Have met and banged girls the same day. Pay per meets can be as low as $800 MXN. Monthly retainers (arrangements in SA parlance. Arreglos / acuerdos) can be set-up for $150-200/ month. You will need WhatsApp, conversational Spanish, and a decent back story of why you are in Queretaro. But there are many eager and willing ladies.

I have not been to this place since it was La Cabaña and much before it was shot-up last year. Please note that at the time of this writing the MXN to USD exchange rate is 18.8 to 1.

Well, as I referenced this place in an earlier post, I felt that I had the obligation to visit and provide a review so I went last night.

First of all, do not be worried when you have to pass through three gates. There cameras are registering the comings and goings. The gates are operated by people inside what can best be described as concrete pill boxes. At the last gate, you will need to pay $30 pesos to park. The parking was fairly well lit and seemed safe. Just know that in Mexico it is usually the same guards that purportedly there to protect you and your property, but in actuality are that are ones ripping you off or making it possible. In short, the Las Malcriadas is a compound. Whether it is truly safe against men with truly bad intentions is debatable.

Now, as you are all pretty aware, in Mexico almost all of the "security measures" (guards, police, or army presence) is just a facade for general public consumption as you are not really protected; nor, does anyone care about anyone else. Just be smart, choose seating carefully, and don't get drunk.

The bar. Las Malcriadas:

Bar name means: The spoiled girls.

Cover: None, nor is there a minimum consumption.

Drinks:

Bottled water: $50 pesos.

Bucket with ice and 6 full size beers. Called a "cubeta": $220 pesos.

Girls beer smaller. Called "ampolletas" - $90 pesos.

Girls whiskey - $180 pesos.

Rooms on site:

Only saw / went into curtained booths. Privacy is OK, especially towards either end of the booth area that actually is called the warehouse in Spanish. I mention this point, because booths are not my thing.

The girls:

Approx. 70 girls. Some stunning, some not so stunning and older. Overall 6.5-7 with a good amount of 8's and 9's thrown in. Definitely something for everyone's taste.

Girls do not get a salary. They are freelancers who can come and go as they wish. They only make money for their services, and given their employment status there is no defined structured rate set by management. More or less here it is:

Dance at the table: $100 pesos.

To give you an idea of what this "table dance" can be, I will relate something I saw not 10 feet in front of me.

Two seated guys and a girl. The girl was standing between both of them. Basically a sandwich. They basically were doing everything possible without actually fucking. One would be sucking her tit**es, while the other alternated between fingering her pussy and a** and eating her out. This went on for a good amount of time and nobody cared. Summary:

A definite must see while in Queretaro. Not worth making a special trip though.

This a Mexican bar. I. E. A fun and cheap bar, where the girls do not cop attitudes and are up for anything. They are not accustomed to Gringos, however, they do get the occasional Gringo or Japanese guy in there. Just like anywhere else, you will be treated as you treat others. Spanish is a huge plus (almost necessary). The girls and waiters will treat you and fairly and very well.

Total damage for two-girl on-premise evening: less than $100 USD.

Side note:

This place is one of those middling' bars that I love.

As an example, I met a beautiful, sexy spinner studying her MBA in finance. And to the naysayers. I have more than 20 years experience, speak Spanish fluently and yes, I asked probing questions and verified that she had working knowledge. Now, to answer your questions. Please note, that I am also including some additional information for the rest of the Monger public.

Waiter told me that they close at 4:00 AM, but with Mexico being Mexico (Mexicans / Latinos might arrive / start late but you can go as long as you want if you are having fun. The silver lining to the lack of punctuality), they will stay open as long as there are paying customer and willing putas. Normally, 6:00 to 7:00 AM under the right conditions. And you are right. They start late. I arrived a little before midnight.

Don't feel bad about missing El Corral de Las Chivas. Las Malcriadas has a similar vibe, just not as nice. Everything else the same though.

With respect to ground transportation. Generally, I do not recommend that the "Standard" Gringo Monger drive in Mexico. Maybe la frontera, but not in the interior; and especially not to mongering venues. Vacationing with the family (very rarely will the police hassle a family man on vacation with his wife / family. They just don't do it unless it is warranted) is one thing, but going to / coming from puteros and at late hours just attracts too much attention. Having said that and from what I have gleaned from your posts. You, JC, would be OK. To the rest of you Mongers, OK means that JC could talk / bribe his way out of a problem with the local / state police with little to no cost. The "standard" Gringo Monger could not. It would cost upwards of $400 USD and a terrifying experience. As they say in Mexico. "Güey, el susto fue gratis!" - "Dude, your terror was provided at no additional cost!" Furthermore, the more belligerent a guy gets about his "rights", proper procedures, and his ample knowledge of "How they do it in Mexico. " the worse it will go for you. For more than 20 years travelling in Mexico and LATAM, I have always handled myself just like I was in some backwater USA Southern / rural county with the all-powerful / all-mighty Sheriffs. If you have ever been in these places you know what I mean. The Sheriff is THE law. Be cordial. Be courteous. Bite your tongue. Yes Sir. No Sir. You are right Sir. And you will probably be OK. Don't be "that guy" who has "he was right" written on his tombstone. In Mexico, you can almost always win a criminal court case. The authorities have a damn hard time putting away real criminals; even without factoring in the corruption. The question is the bureaucracy. You will win. In 6 months to a year while you stay in jail because you are a flight risk. I do not think it is worth it. With this information in minds, more on driving.

Las Malcriadas is pretty much smack dab between Celaya and Queretaro, probably a little faster to get to from QRO. Also, I have not seen checkpoints leaving from QRO going to Celaya. These can pop up at anytime though. However, on the "libre" between Celaya and Queretaro there was a checkpoint. For alcohol.

In my case, two hours prior to the checkpoint, I had drunk 3 Single Barrel Jack Daniels doubles with mineral water chasers. I am sure that my breath still had a slight smell, but I did not have any problem. They made me blow into the breathalyzer, asked me a few questions and let me go. I can guarantee you that a "standard" monger driving in a rental car would have been royally fucked! They would tell you that just being able to smell alcohol on your breath is sufficient even if the breathalyzer came back under the limit.

My personal recommendation is always to get a taxi or Uber. With a strong preference to taxis in this particular case. The taxis know the mongering venues and will not be crept out, scared, or worried. The Uber driver profile is different than the typical taxi cab driver. And from either Celaya or QRO (close to centro) should not cost more (very conservative / factoring in Gringo Tax) than $30 USD RT. Less coming from Celaya. Pretty cheap insurance if you ask me.

With respect to hotels. I know what you are talking about JC. Mexico City has some pretty amazing deals on rather nice hotels. IMHO, one of the best cities in the world for hotel value. Food too. It is just very hard to find those type of deals outside of CDMX. Personally, I live in Queretaro. Before living here, I would stay in chain hotels (Holiday Inn, One, Fiesta Inn, Staybridge, etc.) when traveling for business. On someone else's dime. So, in this case, I will not be able to provide a specific recommendation. What I would tell other mongers is to look for a non-chain hotel (locally owned Mexican hotel) in Celaya. Is safe, clean, and even has a terrace if you want to have a cocktail, smoke a cigar, and see the "metropolis" that is Celaya. And there would be no issue in bringing back a girl. Just reserve it for double occupancy.

A monger can have a good time at the Yegua. Just need cultural knowledge, language skills, and wherewithal. Wherewithal with respect to time. Money is not as important as one thinks. As long as you meet the minimum expectations that are really not that high and have time (I have heard many times in my Mongering career - "Amor, el dinero no es primero. Queretaro is a large metropolitan city that has a lot to offer. It was the whitest city I've ever seen! Not because of the people, but because of the buildings. As you come into the city from the airport you will notice every building is painted white. Why? I don't have a damn clue, but I just found it a bit weird.

It is quite a modern city and anything but conservative. During my stay, it was a tad hot throughout the day, but the temps cooled way down in the evenings. There was a decent amount of interesting things to see and do in the city. Very few people in the city wore masks, unless they worked with clients; like hotel staff, restaurant workers, and taxi / Uber drivers.

Why Queretaro?

I'm still slowly working my way through each state in Mexico.

Note: I flew to Queretaro out of Tijuana and back only using my passport card. A passport book is not required!

All the money I quote is in pesos, unless you see the dollar sign.

I used CBX from Otay to the Tijuana airport and back. CBX round trip was around 38 bucks. CBX prices are seasonal. They have a low season, regular season, and high season. I crossed during the low season.

After clearing immigration at the Tijuana airport, I headed to the VIP lounge to chill-out. Returning, there was a VIP lounge at the Queretaro airport in the same area as the gates. The lounge was quite small, but nice nevertheless.

Getting there:

I flew Aeromexico round-trip to Queretaro. Each way, there was a layover in Mexico City. Beware of layover times at MEX! Make sure you have at least an hour layover between flights at that airport! I can't stress that enough. The airport is a cluster fuck. They have too many planes and not enough gates. I got lucky this trip because all my flights were on time; what a fucking concept!

The taxi from the airport cost 420. I took an Uber back to the airport for 419, yep; I saved a pinche peso! Traveling each way took around 30-35 minutes.

Getting around town:

I used taxis and Ubers throughout my stay. Taxis were hard to find, but Ubers were abundant. After dinner on Friday, I found an Uber driver and he hung with me during my first two clubs. Later he fucked up and I ditched his ass to the curb. I found another driver and he ran with me for the rest of Friday night and Saturday night. His name is Arturo and I have his number if you need his service.

Hotel:

I stayed at the HS HOTSSON hotel. This hotel chain is quickly becoming my favorite. It's a beautiful hotel with great amenities. I got an amazing room on the VIP floors for a decent price. On my same floor, there was a VIP lounge with free food and drinks. I highly recommend this hotel.

I flew Aeromexico round-trip to Queretaro. Each way, there was a layover in Mexico City. Beware of layover times at MEX! Make sure you have at least an hour layover between flights at that airport! I can't stress that enough. The airport is a cluster fuck. They have too many planes and not enough gates. I got lucky this trip because all my flights were on time; what a fucking concept!

The taxi from the airport cost 420. I took an Uber back to the airport for 419, yep; I saved a pinche peso! Traveling each way took around 30-35 minutes.

Getting around town:

I used taxis and Ubers throughout my stay. Taxis were hard to find, but Ubers were abundant. After dinner on Friday, I found an Uber driver and he hung with me during my first two clubs. Later he fucked up and I ditched his ass to the curb. I found another driver and he ran with me for the rest of Friday night and Saturday night. His name is Arturo and I have his number if you need his service.

Hotel:

I stayed at the HS HOTSSON hotel. This hotel chain is quickly becoming my favorite. It's a beautiful hotel with great amenities. I got an amazing room on the VIP floors for a decent price. On my same floor, there was a VIP lounge with free food and drinks. I highly recommend this hotel.

Was it girl friendly? Yes, it was. I met a bargirl in the lobby early Saturday evening and we shuffled our asses up to my floor without any issues. Then we stopped in the VIP lounge and we both stocked up on goodies, like tasty snacks and adult beverages, again, no issues. Her price was 2000 for 2 hours.

Thus, if you plan to travel to Latin American countries, I highly recommend that you learn some Spanish. It is not that difficult and it opens up a whole new world!

Yes, but only after I explore the rest of the states. Would I recommend it to other mongers? Yes, there were enough monger venues and things to see and do to keep one busy. It would be worthwhile to go and explore the city! I had a blast!

Queretaro is a large metropolitan city that has a lot to offer. It was the whitest city I've ever seen! Not because of the people, but because of the buildings. As you come into the city from the airport you will notice every building is painted white. Why? I don't have a damn clue, but I just found it a bit weird.

It is quite a modern city and anything but conservative. During my stay, it was a tad hot throughout the day, but the temps cooled way down in the evenings. There was a decent amount of interesting things to see and do in the city. Very few people in the city wore masks, unless they worked with clients; like hotel staff, restaurant workers, and taxi / Uber drivers.

Why Queretaro?
