Malacon/Courtyard by Marriot
I will be in SD for New Years with my novia. Does anyone have any New Year's experience in the city? I hear there is a big deal on the Malecon. What's the best place to stay on New Year's Eve?
I jut drove from Sousa to Santo Dominnnngoooo. Decent 100 mile trip by the way. I rented a car instead of using a bus. Hilton is full tonight at $250 per nite.
Court Yard by Marriot is just around the corner from the Malacon, cost $115 per nite and has dsl connection in room. Spotty at best in room all over Sosua and PortoPlata.
Best to all!

Getting from the airport to Caribe bus station
I am planning my quick 4 day trip and appreciate all the information the board has shared. I am arriving at 7:30 pm so it will be too late to get a bus to Sosua. So I need to spend the night in Santo Domingo and get on the first bus to Sosua in the morning.
My questions:
1. What is a hotel that is close to the Caribe bus station so I dont have to travel far in the morning? I would like to get to the hotel asap after I land at 7:30 and try to get one chica before I depart in the morning. I prefer hunting streetwalkers but will settle for whatever is avaliable. So I am looking for a hotel that is cheap, not far from the Caribe bus station and has chicas nearby.
2. My Spanish sucks. Can someone tell me when the first bus leaves for Sosua on a weekday morning? Unfortunately the website seems a bit confusing to me.
3. If I arrive at the airport after the bank is closed where can I exchange my dollars for pesos?
4. Someone mentioned where some SW are located but I cant find it on a map. This is the quote: "I have discovered that it is fairly easy to find a quick early morning (7-8am) girl by walking slowly back and forth down Conde from Duarte towards the Parque de Colon ".
Where is this place? And can someone send me a link of a decent map of the city? Thanks.
Thanks.
