Mariachis at Plaza Santa Cecilia
Plaza Santa Cecilia is the name of the market behind the Arch on Revolucion at Primera and is a traditional gathering place for the mariachis dressed in their fancy charro outfits. Saint Cecilia is the patron saint of musicians.
Two years back, I was in TJ during the holiday of Tres Reyes (Three Kings - The Magi or Wise Men of Christmas). A street girl friend and I got a couple of mariachis to come back with us to the Alley and had them play music and sing traditional Mexican Christmas songs for a group of home sick putas in the oficina of one of the small hotels.
repost - Hotel info needed
Sorry for the repost - I accidentally posted this in the Chicago Bar thread.
How would you rate the Cesar and Espana hotels?
Whats the cost to stay one night during the week?
How far are they from CC/AB?
Thanks in advance,
Donnie
