Is there any action in Oranjestad?
Just wondering if there is any action in the capital. I remember this guy asking me for direction of some local bar that had columbian girls there. But I never got directions from him because he forgot where it was and was gonna meet his friend up there.
Man if this club does exist it would be so convient for me.
Rent a car in San Nicolas!
I was in Aruba some months ago and decided to cab it to San Nicolas. My cab driver politely warned me that I might not get a cab back but showed me where I could one wait for one of the Aruban van-cabs back to Orangestaad.
I went to Carolina's and found a nice young Columbiana, had a quick session. She was eager to see me again as I was probably one of the younger customers and the fact I'm such a easy lay and don't engage in any porn star acrobatics. Hahaha. She gave me her schedule for the week and wanted me to take her for the nite but logistics wouldn't allow it.
I did stop in at Charlie's bar too. They were real friendly in there too. So I'm waiting at the spot for this bus, and it seems to be a long wait. So I decided to pop in at the police station which is near the refinery just to verify that I'm waiting at the right spot. Anyway the cop at the front booth pretends he doesn't see me and when I ask my question again he asks me to leave.
Weird I guess he figured I was a monger and didn't want to help.
Long story short. The bus-van finally came. You get in the back in the van and pass your money up to the driver. The ride took forever with all the stops.
Lesson learnt. Rent a car in Aruba.

Helpful info for first time visiotrs to Aruba (San Nicholas)
Based on March 2008, last visit.
Here is some info that adds to other posts to help first time visitors in enjoying the best experience with the least amount of hassle. I will not repeat prior post, but add a few important points (do and don’ts). This represents my research and my suggestions are just that and relevant to the majority of mongers, who this is intended for. If you frequently travel to Aruba and San Nicholas you may have different experiences and suggestions which might also be helpful.
GETTING THERE
DO - take a rental car!!
DONT - attempt visiting there by taking bus!
From Oranjestad take the two lane road 1B and follow signs to San Nicolas (very easy). From hotel district take go thru the center of the island and avoid the traffic in Oranjestad.
Once you arrive in San Nicolas on 1B you will follow the signs to Downtown. When you see a Burger king sign on the left side of the street (police station on right) you want to veer to the right (45% angle) and follow that street. DO NOT take a 90% right turn after police station. Follow the narrow street for maybe one-half mile and when the street opens up and bends (bus stop on right), take bend to the left. About then you will think you are lost and you will see Chesterfields and soon there after Caribbean bar on left and Charlie’s (regular restaurant) on right. This is the beginning of the area with many many small bars on this street and the 3 parallel streets.
LANGUAGE
DO - know some basic spanish as the majority of the women are from Columbia and know little english, unless you plan to just walk in pick the cutest girl and say I want her, how much.
DON’T - be intimidated if you don’t speak basic because you can ask for a bartender or other girl if they know english to translate for you.
GIRLS CONTRACTS and BAR RULES
Most girls seem to be on 3 month contracts. The girl pays a daily fee to the bar owner for her room, etc... and she negotiates her own rates with customers. If you want TLN you must bar fine the girl which is a very steep fee that you negotiate with the bar owner or bartender ($100-300 US dollars) plus pay the girl the rate you negotiate with her. During bar hours you must pay the bar a room fee (usually around $10-15) plus the rate you negotiate with the girl.
DO - arrange to meet the girl when the bar closes at 1-2am (I negotiated midnight with bar owner) and you avoid paying a bar fine as long as you return her by 4-5pm the next day.
DO - drive the alleys during the day (before bar opens) or after 1am (when many brothels begin to close) to meet a girl and avoid bar fees.
DONT - pay a stiff bar fine early in the evening just to get an extra 3 hours with the girl. Go to other bars and check out the talent while you wait.
MONEY AND NEGOTIATION
The local currency is the Aruba Florin which is approximately 1.77 exchange rate at stores for each $1 US Dollar.
DO - immediately establish that you want to negotiate in Florin as you will almost always get a better rate especially for TLN or daytime fun. You can exchange currency at grocery stores or where ever in Oranjestad first.
DONT - ask the girls for price first, make an offer which may seem low because they will always counter with higher price and you settle in between (see other reports for avg. prices). They see us as walking $$$ and want to make as much as they can, and we want to keep prices as low as we can. Simple economic rules at play here.
SAFETY
Overall Aruba is relatively safe, HOWEVER, San Nicolas has many dirty men (most black) on street corners who will follow and harass you for money. I had a bar owner actually offer to walk me out to my car when leaving one location so I would not be bothered. If you think Aruba is safe, drive 5 minutes from downtown San Nicolas to baby beach and look at the prison overlooking the ocean, and walk down the street alone and see how safe you feel.
DO - travel with others if possible and always park in front of or across street from the bar you are visiting.
DONT - walk the streets day or night as you WILL be hassled by these guys who become verbally abusive and they usually travel in packs for intimidation factor to extort money from you.
THE BROTHELS
As stated by others most have between 2-5 girls working. At night time you enter the front door by pressing a buzzer. Some women are more aggressive than others and they will surely ask you to buy them a drink. If you do not buy them a drink and show earnest interest in them and someone else walks in they will leave your ass in a second...which is fine by me because of simple economics..there is another bar next door with more girls. The rooms and bars are all old and look rather worn but are relatively clean. Many of the women are like vultures in here and it is in their nature to nickel and dime you to death...I never felt unsafe in the bar nor did any show any attempt to rip me off. During the day time the women are not permitted to hang in the streets (cops patrol) so they are in the back of the bar (alley) behind a secured door that looks like a jail cell (they call el barro).
DO - keep looking by visiting a few brothels if you do not see a woman that is to your standards. If you are very interested in taking her to the room I suggest you talk price before you buy her a drink. If all is good, enjoy a drink with her if you choose, and she will turn into your personal affectionate play toy.
DO - visit some of the brothels off the main street. Parking can be easier and spaces closer to the bar, you can avoid the black guys in street begging for money, and there are some gems to be found in them (see my report I will post soon) and bar fine may be less.
DON’T - feel like you have to buy a drink for you or a girl when you enter a bar. Walk in take a quick look if nothing looks interesting walk out no problem. Or talk to a girl if her prices are to high walk out. It is not a requirement that you must buy a girl a drink before going to a room regardless of what they say, they merely push it on you. They ALL try and nickel and dime you in the club, TLN, you name it..it is engrained in their thinking. Just say no, if they don’t like that say hasta la vista. Again...simple economics here supply and demand.
PRICES
Day times prices can range from 40 florin to 70 florin for what I rate a 9+. No extra bar charges and no drinks to buy. Average price I paid was 50-60 florin ($28-33 USD). Most women want $40 USD if you negotiate in dollars.
Night time prices in bar I was quoted from 50 florin to 90 florin plus the bar room charges plus you get hassled to buy the girl a drink. Average total price in bar service for what I would rate an 8+ was 75-90 florins.
TLN prices - Bar fines (if you take the girl before the bar closes) I was quoted between $100-300 US dollars and the girls fee I was quoted 200 florin ($112 USD) all the way up to $200 US dollars. You will end up paying more if you negotiate in $USD. Average price for TLN negotiated with girl 200-250 florin, which =$112-140 (1am to 4pm next day).
Note that I quickly learned to only negotiate in florin. The conversation would begin being quoted $200 US dollars or more. I would say no I pay in florins. The price would then begin at 300 florins, that was an immediate savings of $35 US dollars and then we went down from there. I negotiated TLN with someone I knew would give an awesome GFE. And she was a better GFE than even any american girlfriend ever was...lol for 250 florins. She was what I would rate an 8+. BTW, when I dropped her off she didn’t remember what we had agreed upon and said she would take what ever I wanted to give her.
DO – visit during the day time and troll the back alleys to get best bang for the buck, pun intended.
DON’T – pay bar fine if you can negotiate her getting off work early or troll alleys in the evening after 1am when most places close to avoid a bar fine.
NOTE that Chesterfields stays open to 6am, so there really is not opportunity to bar fine a girl there.
TIPS TO FELLOW MONGERS
Each one of us has our own style and wants. If money is no concern then I doubt you would be driving to San Nicolas, you would call an escort. For those who like the most bang for your buck or it’s your first visit to Aruba, I suggest a daytime drive by down the alleys to talk with the girls. A bit less intimidating than going from bar to bar, getting buzzed in and then being stared at by everyone only to see there is no one of interest and you walk out and walk next door or drive to next location to avoid the verbal abuse from the black men begging in the streets and following you. Also travel with a buddy if possible, but absolutely not necessary.
Negotiate even with the hottie that you must have. It’s a game to them. I passed on a few 8+ that would not come down in price because from experience their demanding demeanor typically translates into clock watchers or rushed and methodical service. I would go to a few other places and then find a sweetheart who was 8+ and happy to negotiate a reasonable price, was not pushy or demanding and turned out to be a star performer.
Hope you find this helpful and enjoy!!

Columbians working in Aruba
Here are a few of the cuties I met and spent some fun time with in and out of the brothels.
Unfortunately I forgot my camera during a couple visits to the brothels and did not get pics of one absolute stunner who was a lot of fun. If you go to Chesterfields she will be the one who looks like she is 16 in the face with a 25 y/o body (yes her boobs are fake). She is an absolute 10!!!
Here are a few random pics i did get with fun women.
Agreat one coming in June 1
A real stunning GFE chica will be at Buccis bar starting June 1. Her street name will probably be melissa.
Do not miss her. Guaranteed great time. Great kisser. I will be heading down there asap. Does anyone know where Buccis Bar is?
Thanks,
Mel

San Nicolas, Aruba Downtown Map.
This map should be useful to current & future visitors to San Nicholas, Aruba. Some of the streets are so short the long Dutch names do not fit, so there is a number on the street & the second image is the list of #s & street names.
