You can take classes affordably online or in person in Medellin. Good Luck!
[QUOTE=Bandy; 1297967]I don't have any personal experience taking Spanish class in Medellin. A couple of years ago, a friend of mine was taking a class in the University while I was there. You might find the following post helpful. Read the post by Napalm below, Post # 8781.

Hope this helps.
Bandy.
PS: There is a Spanish teacher in Medellin called Natalia Velez. She constatntly sends her materials to me. I once participated in one of her video conference calls. For me it was very basic. But I am sure she can offer you advanced lessons, once you sign up for her service. You can contact her at the following e-mail address.

Bus from Medellin to Pereira
At the Flota Occidental bus station they'll tell you its a 5 hr. Trip, but the reality is its 5 1/2. 6 hrs. Its basically one lane all the way, on curvy Andes Mountain roads. One big truck can slow down all the traffic.
One time the bus took nearly an hour to get out of Medellin, because the traffic was so bad.
Fortunately there's a stopping place 3 hrs. Into the trip. Its a small town with a nice station for food. They even play good old rock and roll on the loud speakers.
