Sunset and Casa Blanca
How come nobody goes there?
I used to go to Casa Blanca when i visited sxm 2 years ago, until I saw a few suspiciously looking locals sitting in a car at the edge of the parking lot, and read a few days later in the paper that a man was ambushed there, about one hour after I left.
During my last visit in june I went once to Casa Blanca during the day, mainly to see if any of the stuff advertised on their web site http://www.casablancastmaarten.com/ is true.
Didn't see any improvements, and there seem to be only hard-core pros in the bar. Plus they wanted "gringo" prices and as far as i can remember there are no ACs in the rooms... so went back to Defiance - still my favorite... despite the lack of ACs (except, of course, room #217!)

Blueberry Motel
The Blueberry Motel was built and owned by the owner of Carolinas. It is a love motel. you can bring anything you want to the motel. It is located between carolinas and seamans. Behind seamans with the blue roof. It is new so I do not have a phone number. The whole place is brand new. rooms are supposed to be $70- a night in season.

Seamens
a trip with your family rarely affords mongering pleasures. the sidewards glances at a young hottie, or at a suspect in a casino or bar... but to get out there and play... nada. fortunately, intelligent housing of the offspring and my lavish attention did afford little ll plenty of stress relief, even if in familiar territory while in a foreign land!
it was an afternoon nap. we had sex hours before, so that wasn't going to play into it. i excused myself for an afternoon at a beach bar. drove instead to seamens, parked, walked in & ordered a drink. typical nightclub type bar except the music was at a reasonable level, one that couples could chat without having to yell. oh, and they had porn playing on the screens and a small dance floor with a pole. hmmmmm.
midweek afternoon is not the time to visit, and so when the only two working girls were not of my standard, i watched the porn while sipping my drink; having already decided the leave as soon as the drink was gone. i turned back to the bar and saw a forehead peeking over the bar. i must have stared, because i figured the small head to be a child standing behind the bar. then the woman stood up.
a true omfg moment!
a miniature goddess stood across the bar from me! beautiful black-hispanic island-girl face, mid-back length black hair, medium completion, wearing a white open-v top. then our eyes locked and i guided her to my side. she immediately shook hands with little ll and he saluted right back to her touch. i found with visual and manual inspection that the merchandise to be of fine quality, yes, while at the bar. we exchanged first names and countries of origin, hers was alexis and dominica, in case anybody would care about such things. from there the conversation went something like this:
her: vamos?
ll: quantos?
her: 50
ll: vamos!
alexis:
face: 10
body: 10
cbj: 8
sexo: 9
'tude: 8
overall 9.5 in the quickie catagory.
repeat - oh if i could have that all night long...

Taxis and renting car
Staying down near the pelican reef resort and just curoius how much taxi would be to go down to the seamans and the clubs.
And if its just as good doing that by taxi and not renting car there if you have few guys there to split the taxis with. Thanks for the info.

Pelican
If Pelican is in Simpson bay it is a$15- cab ride to seamans. It really pays to rent a cheap car. It is also convenoient as you dont want to miss Defiance and at night you don't want to walk between the clubs.

I just checked and small cars start at $108/week (so not that much more). Use a credit card that has collision/theft/vandalism coverage (insurance is expensive! ). Don't leave anything in the car and it probably won't get broken into.

Renting Cars
My first trip to St Maarten is comming up next month. I see that most regular visitors recommend renting a car. How are the cops on DUI? If I am visiting a lot of clubs I will have a few beers. Is an International Drivers License required?

taxi vs rent a car
I would rent the car. You can split the cost the same way you can with the taxi. The price, this time of year, is very similar. One round trip ride a day should be similar to one days rental, and you have access to the car all day and night.
I will be arriving in SXM on Thursday. Anybody have their current suggestions for chicas? I've got Zulay and Salome from Carolinas, Vanentia from Defiance, and Gabriellle from Seamans on my "to do" list.

Ath Trainer
Both Zing and I think that Ericka rm 217 at Defiance is the number one chica on the island. I spent 9 days with her and it was fabulous. Don't miss her if she isn't out of defiance on a long date.

Sunset
How come nobody goes there?
Last Sept I stopped into Sunset everynight for almost a week. They had a fresh crop of Domincanas. Ranging from pretty nasty to some cute. If I remember about 6 were do-able and so I did most of them. They were real booze hounds so between me and my wingman Shooter1 we probably bought these girls a total of 50 of those little two dollar Heinekens.
The place is a little scarey, I wouldn't go alone. You have to navigate some broken steps in a stairway, go by uninterested security and if you are a gringo like me you will be the only gringo in the place..Entirely different clientel from Carolinas. The music is loud and they play the Pantera Momba at least twice a night. No A/C makes for a hot night for the gringo. Overall I liked the place but after a few nights I couldn't wait to get to Carolinas.
At the time Casa Blanca was just strange. It should be the best place because of it's size and location but it just didn't seem right. Girls were pushy and not that great looking. I think we stopped in twice for drink and left.
Fellows,
I will be in SXM later in the month and have a question. I enjoy women who smoke cigars. I have had problems finding willing girls in the Caribbean and was wondering if SXM would be any different.
As always, thanks for your help,
SR
Finding one to smoke your cigar is easy. Finding one to smoke a Cohiba is far more difficult.

One thing I can tell you for sure is St. Maarten is one of the cheapest places to rent a car and one of the more expensive places to eat.
My advice would be:
-rent a car.
-drink $2 Heinekens
-do lots of chicas.
-don't have anything to eat on the french side! Seriously, I loved the food on the French side but it costs.
