They fight venereal tumor in dogs
21 of May of the 2006
Pedro Sanchez Briones
After detecting a great number of cases of venereal tumor by sexual transmición in dogs of the west, all Saturdays the Association Pro Animal Defense applies medicine free to fight it, as well as for the scabies, of which many dogs of this sector suffer.
Soul Morfín de Gabilondo, president of the organism, informed that when making the last campaign of massive sterilization in March last in the colony Hills of Penny royal, began to give treatment in the animals that presented/displayed the disease.
It at least said that one of each ten dogs whose masters took them to sterilize, suffer of Tumor Venéreo Transmisible (TBT), who are developed as much in the genitals by sexual contact in males as in females, which is an alert center.
What it worries, it added the animal defender, it is that most of these dogs they walk loose in the public thoroughfare and is easy more that they are infected, reason why require of a very expensive treatment, whose cost is of between 300 and 500 dollars and are due to apply in six sessions.
Morfín de Gabilondo, added that the sectors the west and suroriente are where they have observed this disease more, like in Hills of Poleo and Anapra. For that reason, it is that they apply the medicine in the street Tomatillo and Zacatecas, exactly in center of Tonantzín Women.
The tumor is developed to them like a species of coliflor, explained, to the females in vulva and the males in the penis.
The problem is that if the animals do not receive treatment, goes to them to the lungs and die.

can't think of a good joke. . .but it's nice someone's cares about the animals in a culture that glorifies cock fighting. . .

Should this have been posted in that "other" newest forum as well? Might be a connection...

You mean there is another forum worth mentioning? Send me the link, I don't want to miss anything.
The Filthy (wheres my viagra?) One
I just wanted to verify some information I've gathered from this and other forums. Is it true that it is much more expensive if you have a cab driver take you to an MP? I've noticed on this forum a couple of people who have mentioned that they paid $30-$40 at Genesis. I've been there 3 times and paid $60 each time. Each time I took a cab and the cab driver charged me $20 just to take me there. Then, from what I understand, the MP inflates its price another $20 to $30 to pay the cab driver some more. So the cab driver ends up getting $40 to $50 out of me. In my opinion, this is highway robbery. I will never again take a cab to an MP. I will either walk or take a bus.
So you turned around and came back? No back up plan? That fucking sucks.
I hope you give it a go again soon. I haven't been to Luxxor in a while, since before they had the jacuzzis but I bet it is nice.
You are better off without the "free" ride. If they send one of the van services, in the end you would pay more than if you walk in.
Mugroso
I had to come back because I had to go back to work. What other MPs are within walking distance from the Santa Fe bridge?

Cleopatra's is a few blocks down (Ignacio Mejia) on the left but I haven't heard anything good about them in a while. Could be worth sticking your head in the door for the line up tho'.

Been going to Genesis for a few years, never paid more than $30.
Cabbies prey on unknowing people, that's a fact, they figure if you are going by cab you have no idea where you are going and what you are doing.
Walking over he bridge, continue walking south to Vicente Guerrero, grab a bus, pay 4-4.5 pesos, (don't remember, just give the driver $0.50) get off on Fdo. Montes De Oca, there's a stop light at Montes de Oca, walk to Genesis, 2nd house from corner. To get back, walk to 16 de Sept, grab bus, get off when it gets near centro.
I normally drive over, visit Marylins, then Genesis, nothing happening in those, I hit Loryed, sometimes stopping in Corpus. Act like you know what you are doing, people will not bother you, act like you don't have a clue and they will take advantage every of opportunity too scam you.

yeah I agree.
What I do is just start hiking at the bridge--I skip my work-out that day.
The buses I don't understand.
Lately I've been taking the free bridge. It's closer to the MPs than the other bridges, but it's also more dangerous. It's real easy to get run over on the free bridge.

If you take a left and start hiking down Tlaxcala you'll run right into Sirena's on the corner Hermones Escobar and Panama.
It's a nice street but it takes about a 30-40 minutes to get there.
It's closer if you take the free bridge.

I stuck my head in there last week and found nothing worth mentioning. I just smile and walk out.
I used to say that I would return but now I find myself politely leaving hoping they would understand my rejection. If the streets of Juarez wasn't so dangerous I would suggest jogging, but what else can we do to give them the hint. Mexican males generally prefer heavier women but if we are their target market they should realize we have different tastes.
I wish I could afford a van to take you guys to better hunting grounds.

Especially being so close to the bridge. You think they would have at least one token "skinny" girl :) .
Perhap they think that if us gringos are going to MX we must like the chicas that way as well.
