This board makes AC sound like shit. I have never been but was entertaining the idea for easy drive-thru BBFS. Now I'm discouraged...
AC is shit. However, it's also something that should be experienced by every newbie monger to visit the Philippines. Some love it. Some hate it. If you're the later, don't sit and whinge about it, move on: Subic is two hours away; back track to Manila or; Clark has a zillion domestic flight connections.
The odds are stacked on your side. After visiting for nearly 30 years and travelling over much of the Philippines, I've had one encounter where she insisted on me tarping up. One. Yes it was in Angeles but to be fair, she was trying to pisss me off so that I would throw her out early. It worked. I'm assuming those are odds you can live with.
Money is not an issue. Filipinas aren't even my type, but AC just seems to be the BBFS capital of the world. I wish Thailand offered BBFS but I've been told that's rare.
Throwing money around does not guarantee a good time in PI. If anything girls' prices and performance are inversely related. I have to think to recall any high priced girls who were great lays. Yet I have many provincial princesses that will remain burnt into my memory until the day I die.
Enjoy. G.
P.S. I remembered a second time: an over priced KTV in Davao. But that lends credence to my second point.
AC is shit. Some love it. Some hate it.
G and DG make some good points. I still like AC but then again I also like Manila, Cebu, Subic, Pattaya, Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Hanoi, Siem Reap and Phnom Penh. Have visited all these and more (as I know many of you have). Hell, I lived in AC back in the heydeys of 82 to 84. Now I live outside of Dumaguete so it is easy to go to all of these places. The thing about Angeles it is very easy to get quality pussy and not expensive if you are coming from any Western or predominantly English-speaking country. And Filipina girls are so sweet -- well, the vast majority. I am retired here and it is one of the best decisions I ever made with the shit show going on in the USA and most other places. No place is perfect but for me, PI is about as good as it gets. And AC is a fairly inexpensive Disneyland for Adults. Get a ticket and go on the rides. Life is good!

Hi guys, and sorry for the offtopic.
Is it true than now when you arrive Manila or Cebu airport, you have to pay some kind of "tourist" tax? About 25 dollars or something like that.
Thanks in advance.
I ran in to an 8.5+ that I have known for 7 years. She is 26 now with 2 kids. Still one of the greatest bodies around and might I add a tight kitty. We had a great time catching up. So much so that I will be taking her to Boracay tomorrow for 3 days. Direct flights from Clark to Boracay are available now for $60 one way. Great Boracay hotels for under $100 a night.
My 3 nights Boracay vacation is coming to an end. Flight tomorrow to Manila for 2 nights and then home. My friend is flying to Manila with me and the will take the Genesis bus back to AC. She asked me if I would want her 20 year old friend to come stay with me? Wtf! After seeing her picture I said heck yes! 20 yo was shy and wanted my friend to stay the night too. Friend was ok with that. They will ride the bus back together.
I have another girl coming from AC for my final night and she will catch the bus back in the morning. My flight is out of terminal 3 so it works out good. BTW, I am staying at Savoy Hotel across from Terminal 3.
AC is all what you make of it.

Thanks in advance.
What tourist tax? There is no such thing for arriving passengers in any airport in Philippines.
When leaving there is a departure airport tax. Most of the time it depends on the airline you are taking. It will be included in the price paid. I take major international airlines from Manila so that airport tax is already included. When I was in the immigration line when departing they were directing some passengers to another window I believe to pay the tax. Obviously some airlines ticket does not include airport tax. Last time I travelled domestic round trip from Manila to cebu on Air Asia. I did not have to pay anything at both airports.
I would check with the airline.

99% of departure tax is built in to the ticket price.

Small bills
If you are in AC then you will know it is difficult to get small change back from stores and restaurants.
I have solved the problems. ABC front desk stocks quite a bit of P20, P50, P100, P500 and P1000 notes. I get a stack of p50's and P100's at a time. Like P3000 at a time. Saves on a lot of frustration.

In the past I had bought tickets for myself and my then Filipina GF out of Manila; had to pay the extra travel tax only for her.

I have to pay it every time I leave the country, but then so do Filipinos.

There is a tax for Filipino citizens travelling outside the country. I guess they think that if you're rich enough to travel, you're rich enough to pay more taxes. Foreigners do not pay the tax. My last experience with this was maybe 6 years ago, and we had to wait in line to to pay and get a special receipt attached to my girlfriends boarding pass. These days, it may have been integrated into more ticket prices. Not sure.

Years ago the tax was much lower for foreigners and Filipinos paid 1620. After an uproar over the inequity of the price difference, the government raise the foreigner tax to 1620! Filipinos had thought theirs would be lowered! LOL.
Most all tourist have the tax included in their tickets. Some airlines have the option for the Filipinos to pay the tax in the ticket. If not paid in the ticket then it is paid at the airport.
OFW used to pay it and then inside the boarding area they would claim a refund. OFW are exempt from the tax. Today I believe they do not collect it in the OFW ticket.

Currently in Angeles and wanted a massage so I went into a parlor right on walking street (across from genesis), where the girls are on the street yelling "massage" at everyone who walks by. The girl brought me to the back and I was the only customer there. I get naked and she starts massaging and then another girl walks in and asks if I want two girls. Whatever, it's 400 pesos each, so I agree. After a couple of minutes I feel two more sets of hands on me and I look back to see two ladyboys grabbing at my ass and junk and giggling. I was furious! I didn't come here to get my junk grabbed by ladyboys after I am face down getting a massage. I immediately cursed everyone out and left. I still wanted a massage so I asked my hotel to call one for me to my room. They did, and the lady shows up who is about 55 years old it seems. Ok, I get it, it was a decent massage and I'm sure better than one of the young pretty girls but who doesn't like to have a set of 22 year old hands all over them?
My question is, does anyone know of a good massage location on walking street or near that has cute girls (but without disgusting ladyboys trying to grab at you)?

Generally there is no combo of massage and sex where both are good. There are good places for massage (my favorite is Reign Spa) where 400 peso gets you pretty good hour rub. For sex you should already know where to find that. LOL.

No Problem.
And front desk from ABC will see my middle finger from outside at max.
