Dynasty Inn, Pattaya, April 2007
I stayed at the Dynasty Inn, Soi 13, during my April 2007 visit.
Key benefit, if you stay for two days then the shuttle bus from Bangkok Dynasty Inn is included free, otherwise it is 500 baht.
Room rate, baht 1490 per night for a "super deluxe" (or something like that room). Nice and clean with a very large king size bed that easily could fit myself and two girls on the nights I felt ambitious.
Hotel and rooms are very clean, and the staff are mostly pretty friendly and don't raise an eye lid when you come back with girls. They ask for ID at the front desk, and then keep the ID until the girl leaves.
The hotel is on the corner of Soi 13 and Second Road, so sometimes it gets a bit loud at night from the bar across the street. This rarely bothers me though, the noise stops at around 2am and I would usually not be home until pretty much that time, and if I was I was engaging in some bombom instead of trying to sleep.
Hotel is pretty much only used by mongerers, a few couples from Hong Kong were staying there, but once they figured out what went on they would usually switch to different hotels.
No fees for bringing back girls, one time when I had two with me they wanted to ask for a fee, but I said (politely) that the second girl was just staying for an hour, which resolved the problem. (She was there all night, but still didn't get charged.)
In summary, a nice clean hotel, very girl friendly, mostly other mongerers staying there (but not the ones that cause trouble). A bit expensive, but then I thought it was sort of worth it for the nice room and nice location. Pretty much everything is within a 15 minute walk from there.

Brothers in arms,
One more piece of useful information about the "super deluxe" room that I forgot to write down in the earlier report: It has a really comfortable sitting chair in it, which is just perfect for sitting back for a nice relaxing bj in it... :)
That was, like, so, the best feature of the room.
Cheerio

Hotel recommendation Lek or Welcome Plaza.
Hi,
If you have stayed at the Lek (old wing) and Welcome Plaza which hotel would you recommend.
Considering:
- Room appearance (bright vs. dreary) Cleanness
- Size of both rooms
- Security staff & boxes in room or lobby
- Bed Comfort & size
- TV. Number of available English speaking channels
Based on my inquiry, prices are about the same THB 750.00 for a standard room.
I will be staying a month.
Normally I would stay at the Inn House but they have increased their rate for a standard room from THB 750.00 to THB 942.00.
Thanks,
TC.
