I'm not sure what else to say. Once you pay your admission, you can go into the cinema or climb the stairs to the balcony. Before the balcony is the mezziene with the wash rooms a couple of tvs showing the news and the private room. They used to have arcade games, but the new management took them out. They used to play 16mm movies, but now have switched to videos. The balcony is dark and you have to be carefull where you step or sit.
You may be solicted by guys, if it's not your think just politely say no(don't cause a scene or the cops might get you). At the bottom of the balcony is a couch where action takes place, everybody looks and jacks off so if you are shy then it's not for you.
Consessions are limited so bring your own refreshements. it's a non-smoking establishement but nobody pays attention to that.
Friday nights seems to be the big night for cruising, so go then, although it could be busy anytime I guess. Watch out for the junkies around and in the cinema, it's near Chinatown so if you want some excitement go during the summer for the Chinatown Night market, there are lots of people on the streets then.
I can't think of anything else to add.
Be careful, guys, that SW you pick up may be more than advertised, http://www.weeklyworldnews.com/features/aliens/61245
I'll be in Vancouver for a few days. Will be staying in a hotel downtown and won't have a car. Any suggestion for a bar, (strip) club or where to go at night?
AlLostinSpace:
Please tell me that you at least spent a few minutes reading and searching the forum before asking such a general and well-covered question.
If you have already done a search and came up blank (??), then try key words "Cecil", "No. 5 Orange", and "Hastings".

I'm probably going to be in Vancouver in the next few weeks, but on a Sunday night (lame, I know). Is the Venus open 24/7, or are there particular days or hours?
TIA
...As I looped around the block, I noticed a woman standing at Main and Keefer. She looked SP, sort of, but I wasn't sure. I made eye contact with her but no response, so I pressed on. ... then saw the woman from Main and Keefer standing on the corner. I went around the block and pulled up beside her. When I waved her over she finally got in. ...They laughed, she laughed and I promised myself to find this one again.
Hey TW, is she a regular? You've given a glowing review but didn't describe her at all. A recommendation isn't much use if we don't know who it's for. Quit being such a grinch and tell us what she looked like, aside from looking "SP."
Aside from that small complaint that was a great post, sounded like you had quite a night.
Could someone suggest an upscale (or at least higher scale) guest-friendly hotel near the downtown area? I know there's been a couple of auto motels mentioned, but I'll be staying for a few days so would like to have something better than basic. Thanks!
Also is the Venus a movie theatre? My searches (strip or club) have turned up nothing.
You need a key card to operate the elevator at almost all of the upscale downtown hotels. So if you were to use an outcall, no hotel is truly guest friendly.
That being said, some hotels are better than the other. For example, at Hyatt, you don't have to go through the reception area to go to the room. Hotel Vancouver has a lot of shops, hence more traffic in the lobby area and easier to blend in. All Marriott hotels are not guest friendly in that sense.
People have been getting some decent deals on Vancouver hotels through Priceline.com
i.e. - Hyatt US$56 Marriott US$52

The sign on the front door says 11 am to midnight. I don't know how accurate that is, I've never been there at closing.

Covergirl (www.covergirls.ca) has been my favorite agency lately. I saw Mikayla tonight. She is one of the most attractive women in this industry I have ever seen. She is comparable to top of the line ladies at FKKW. She is in her early 20s, about 5'3", 105 lb. a blond/blue spinner. Good things stop here, however, unfortunately. She has kind of edgy personality, and her service is rather mechanical and uninspiring also. Definitely not GFE. No kiss, no daty (ymmv, of course). She is a good example that a good looking girl does not necessarily mean a good session. I would rate her 9/10/5 (face/body/service). No repeat.
I have noticed that a lot of SPs are now asking rather high $ for their service in Vancouver. IMHO, they are overpriced. The best values I have had so far are in Victoria, Montreal, and FKKs in Germany. I need to visit there more often.
That post with the picture of the hot redhead hooker recently that everyone got so worked up about, was in fact a stolen shot from the internet of course. I just saw the series of pics on watchersweb. That's a site similar to voyeurweb. It was actually an Italian couple. Don't always believe what you see folks. If it's too good to be true, it usually is. Nice try stud.
Well there is the Cecil at the corner of Drake and Granville. If you want a little more upscale there is Brandis club on Howe. Try the Number 5 orange on Main. I am not into the stripper thing. There are many nightclubs downtown. Depends what you are after and how old you are.
