Fiddler mate,
In answer to your question regarding the daily rate: Bamburi Beach resort. I payed 4500kes, it was explained to myself by management that it is now high season. I pointed out to them, the boarding on the beach stated a rate of 3500kes per day. They responded by telling me, this is only a promotional rate.
However, depending on the time of year, you can negotiate a lower rate as you no doubt did in paying 3000kes daily.
I did not have any argument about the rate as there were two of us, we had a wonderful stay, and to repeat myself: i believe this is "the spot to stay" in Bamburi Beach.

So went to indiana.
Did you have problem in taking in girls for the night? They asked tip or always id?
I'll be there in novembre again, I hope that is low season:.)
Since the change in the board I propose again my question from the general thread:
Someone has recent news how's the mongering situation there now? Read about new discos and pubs and better nightlife.
I'll be in mombasa area in November and would like to have a change from Nyali-bamburi and check there and maybe even more south (Shimoni)
What about Watamu (I see the pictures and thebeach seems very beutiful, but the mongering? )
Thanks for any advice.
I am in the habit of going for a vigorous walk (good excersize for the ankles walking on the waterline where the feet sink in a bit with every step) every afternoon once the sun is getting a little less intense, anywhere between Nyali and Shanzu.
Whenever I am by myself, I get accosted "Hey, Mister, want a massage? " by girls (actually, more often than not women in their 30's) who walk down to you from their "studios" up by the treeline somewhere. It usually doesn’t take much to refuse the offer because I find most of them utterly unattractive.
Yesterday was different: I was lazy and chose the short beach between The Reef and Mombasa Beach hotels. I had just started my brisk walk when a young maiden came up, pleasant face, slim and shapely body, nice demeanor; resistance was useless!
Off to her shack we went (she was a real pleasure to walk behind, with her prominent ass nicely filling out her tight fitting jeans) which is located behind a row of beach "stores". Not much privacy I thought, but it was clean, with a full length paper towel on the bed. She half-closed a curtain separating my massage table from the rest of the room. She asked me to strip down to my underpants, which I did and I expected her to do the same, however she did not. When I asked she explained that they are regulated by some licencing authority and are forbidden to give nude or topless massages and that every now and then spot checks are being made.
Anyhow, she started by washing the sand off my legs and feet, before she made me lie down on my tummy. She then spent a long time massaging between my toes and dealing with some of the different nerves which are supposed to end in your soles (now I know for sure that they do), just like a real RMT. After thus getting me thoroughly relaxed, she slowly worked her way up my legs and thighs, all the way until her fingers ended up underneath my boxers. Rather than having to answer questions at home why my CK’s are full of babyoil, I slipped them off. She took full advantage of that and massaged my buttocks thoroughly while every now and then, as if by error, lightly touching my soft parts, which soon didn’t deserve that name anymore. Finally, I heard the flip command, I could hardly wait any longer. She now stood next to my face, leaning forward and displaying her ample breasts which were bulging out of her bra (2 numbers too small – I don’t know why many Africans do that) begging to be set free. I unsnapped the clasps of her bra (with 2 fingers only, btw – that’s a skill which always upset my wife: "where did you learn to do that? "), stroked her nipples and then took one breast in my mouth, and then alternated. My hand was searching for her pussy and she eagerly pressed herself against my fingers while quickly unzipping herself and revealing a clean shaved snatch with a small landing strip above. She guided my finger in and was deliciously wet and oh so tight!
However when I motioned her to jump onboard, she declined and said "not here, I will get fired if I am found out" and pulled away from me, but came back for more fingering every now and then (seems it’s not only hard for guys to resist temptation).
She didn’t even dare give me a BJ and finished me off by hand, which was kind of anti-climactic.
I paid her the standard charge of 600/- (plus a tip). She walked me back to the beach and once out of earshot of other people we arranged for me to pick her up at the matatu stop outside the Reef at 5. 15. After a drink at the hotel bar I quickly visited the pharmacy at Nakumatt to replenish my supply of generic Viagra before I swung by and she jumped into the car, looking sexier than before. Thanks God the ugly bra was gone and she snuggled up close and her hand was in my crotch all the way to Mtwapa. She directed me to a Guest House (one I hadn’t been to before) and we quickly did the deed (DFK, BBBJ, mish and doggie. Her energy was boundless and so was her enthusiasm for wild rough sex. No anal allowed, but I am quite confident I’ll get her there in good time.)
She’s certainly a keeper but I think I’ll skip the massage part in future.

The Big Tree Bar & Resto has 2 cottages on the property with maybe 12 or so rooms between them, I've been told.
The current ( i.e.High Season rate ) is said to be 3,500/- for a double or 2,500/- for a single . Haven't been inside of any of them but have been told that they are clean and reasonable well furnished.
The location surely can't be beat.
The high season rates are
- 2,500 /night for a king size bed w. kitchen and shower
- 2,000/night for same w/o kitchen but at least a small fridge.
They don't charge extra for a 2nd "guest" .
The rooms are "hard furnished" i.e. very basic but clean.
The manager's name is Francis Njuguna . His office # is +254.41.548.6359 or email [blue][Email address deleted by Admin][/blue]

There are lots of young tourists, several large nightclubs (Shaqattack stands out) and a few beach restaurants , and I've seen quite a few girls patrolling the beach at Sundowner Time . Seems all the ingredients are there for a successful experience.
Haven't been to Watamu in 20 yrs ; sorry

Real briefly. You should try all those places you mention. But I don't think you'll find much brewing in Shimoni. But who knows. It's way down there. You could even try Wasini Island while you're down there. I think there are one or two little guest houses in Shimoni/Watamu. Best for the snorkeling and fishing.
Watamu you will find plenty of action. However, I'm always blown away by the prices there. Beer at a place comparable to a Big Tree will cost you around 180 shillings. Criminal. You'll also find lots of Germans and especially Italians at high season. You also get younger, more local girls, rather than the girls from upcountry who make their way to Mombasa and Mtwapa.
Malindi and the Stardust/Stars and Garters circuit is always a good bet as well. Give that a try if you head up toward Watamu.

But is there action only in Malindi or also in Watamu town (where I would like to top for the better beach)?
I have been in August in Fontana at Bamburi Beach
I liked the hotel very much for its totally girlfriend attitude, but I fear it will be too hot without Air conditioned in December when I'll go back there. Expecially since I like to have action in the hot afternoon in my room. :.)
Can you indicate me some totally girlfriendly and indipendent apartment or cottage in bamburi area, with A/C at about 2000-2500 KSH as I was charged in fontana?
Or do you think December is still bearable without A/C?
Thanks

There are clubs, etc, in Watamu, I just don't know the area as well as Malindi. One strategy for a daring soul would be to take a matatu to Malindi up from Mombasa. Jump off at the turn-off for Watamu. It's another matatu ride down to the end, but try jumping into one of those bars at the junction. It's a stone's throw from Gede ruins and a friendly area. There's also lots of palm wine there, mnazi. You could also find a bodaboda guy with a bicycle to take you down to Watamu nice and slow. He'll help you find anything you want. Or ask someone to get some palm wine, then work your way down toward Watamu. Watamu will be almost all Giriama, and they think everyone is Italian. Don't expect "jambos, " you'll get "Ciao! " You'll find plenty of women and learn a lot about what's up in Watamu.

In short ....NO! during December you will have temperatures in the region of 30 degree celsius, and this is at midnight. Think you can sleep in a non A/C room with this heat, i doubt so?
Stayed at Fontana back in March, as you say, nice place, but for the life of me i cannot figure why management do not install A/C. I suppose for that they could boot the price upwards 3500 - 4500kes per night.
You will be hard pressed to find any cheaper accommodation in Bamburi, read my recent trip report, stayed at Bamburi beach resort, 4500kes negotiable, well worth it in my opinion. This will place right in the heart of the beach action.
From the veranda you will be able to observe all the comings and goings on the beach regarding the chickies. See photo thread.

- the guards at the entrance caused always problems taking girls in at night, they asked for some money every time to let her in (though the manager claimed resort is Girlfriendly but only with id)
- the rooms had no double beds but only two single beds together and I don't like it.
Is it still this way or you didnt have such problems?
4500 is realy expensive. But it depends how long you stay. I will come
next year for 5 weeks so i get a long term rate.
Search for yellow pages; i prefer private apartments. I can do what i want
and i need no pool; because for the daily "shot" i spend my time at
bamburi beach. Gents; avoid the expensive beach resorts.
Have fun
