In SP this week. Need help
I have been reading this forum for a while trying to get ready for my trip. I will be staying Itiam Bibi. Are there any prive with good talent in the area? It would be if they are open on Sunday.
Thanks for help.
Action on Augusta Gone in 4yrs?
Well, it seems that Garden W is not the only one to be a vestige of a certain era in Sampa. I've just discoverred today that Nova Maison is closed for good.
Here's a newspaper article reporting that story (in Portuguese).
http://www1.folha.uol.com.br/cotidiano/878370-predios-expulsam-clubes-masculinos-e-mudam-augusta.shtml
"Em minhas previsões mais otimistas, a Augusta do entretenimento noturno masculino deve sumir them quatro anos", afirmou na última another siteça-feira Carlos Garcia. 46, porteiro the boate Maison" (Taken from the Folha News article above).
1) According to this Augusta porteria, he thinks the night-clubs and bars will all disappear in 4years. What I what to ask many of you SP sexperts is, whether or not, this is a one-or-two occurrence in closures or is Carlos absolutely correct and the action on Augusta will be gone in 4yrs time?
2) And if so, are closures the general trend for GDP type boites, night-clubs and bars in SP? Meaning the SP prefeitura (I assume) is cleaning house?
Would love to get your thoughts on the subject! Thanks!

I'm not per se an expert on the São Paulo scene but I can tell that there's is nothing new under the sun. As far as I remember (I have a modest 6 years experience in Sampa) the closure of clubs is nothing new: take for instance the several closing and reopening of the Bomboa (because a judge was living close to the club) , the disparition of the Bahamas, the Solid Gold, the privê on Praça das Arvores, and a thousand others, and so on.
There's a general turn, however, to clean the area around the Jardim the Luz where there are several pontos (spots) where you can pick up SW. Under the Kassab administration they wanted to gentrify this (gloomy!) part of the town.
There will always be high end boates in São Paulo: Café Photo, for instance, is in good health (even if they moved not so long ago).
Visit a predio (like those infamous 9-storey brothels in Santa Cecilia or Republica and Liberdade) a Saturday afternoon and you'll realize how buzy are the GDP tho satisfy an ever growing clientele! LOL.
Sunday action / Connection
I was in Connection last night (Saturday) , only about 20 GDPs but still a nice selection. I spoke with one girl and she told me they are open on Sundays from 4pm. 3am (probably closes earlier if there are no customers). Sunday will be weak but at least they are open.

They had about 50 girls last Thursday.
80R to enter the boite, minimum consumption, can be used for drinks and food.
80R for the room (1hr)
200-300R for GDP.
It is crazy expensive to get there by cab, take the metro to Tatuape station and then taxi to the club which will be under 20R. Dig deeper and you can take a bus that will stop a block from the club. Just use google maps to give you directions from your hotel to the hobby destination that you want. Bitchmaps. Com is a good place to start, even though the GPGuia addresses they reference are a few years old, most of the places will be accurate.
