Just a quick tip for planning a trip to Cali. Although I like to book online and usually get good deals by surfing the net, I beat the best internet prices by far after calling both the hotel (intercontinental) and airline (Avianca/aces) directly. Over the phone they both offered significant savings over the best internet super saver price. Avianca has many Miami offices and the Hotel in Cali did have english speaking reservationists. At the hotel I just told them what I payed the last time and they said that was fine, despite the fact the website listed the same suite for about 50 dollars more a night. Saved about 75 on the airfare. With the low volume in tourists I guess you don't get the high volume discounts we have come to expect on the web.

Slick,
How much did you pay for your plane ticket and your suit ? I live in Miami also and have not yet purchased my ticket, but I would like to know if I am getting a good deal or not.
Thanks and I am looking forward to meeting you in Cali.
Peace and good fortune

I am interested in traveling to Cali but I am not sure of the visa requirements to enter Columbia. Are you required to obtain a visa in advance or at the airport? Also, do the Columbian's charge for the visa and if so how much? Finally, is there an exit fee (like Thailand) to leave Columbia?

There's a Yahoo group that's pretty good for all this stuff: ColombiaExperts. Best not to mention your hobby though unless you want to get shot down in flames by some members!

Toosh,
Assuming that you are American, you will get a 30 day visa at the airport for no fee. To exit Colombia, you will need to pay something like $15. As an outsider, this is half what Colombians pay. When you arrive in Colombia, you shyould get your exemption stamp. That is a stamp that states that you a re a foreigner and are not requested to pay the full amount as Colombians do. It's better to get this at the arrival instead of the departure since security is so tight in Colombians airport, you will want all your energy when you leave (those are tough flights)...

Hey Slick!
"At the hotel I just told them what I payed the last time and they said that was fine, despite the fact the website listed the same suite for about 50 dollars more a night. "
How much are you paying per night at the Intercontinental?
Maybe, I can make it down there over the 4th....

Happy
I'm paying $90 a night for the 2 room suite , breakfast included. If you don't want the suite the price they gave me on the reg. room the last time was $69 a night. When I called the other night it almost sounded like they would have come even lower if I was in the mood to haggle. I was satisfied with my 90 rate. The suites are nice. Hope you can make it down it sounds like there will be a few of us around. The Dann and Dann Carlton right across the street are also nice hotels.

Aussie Greg,
Is your e-mail address for Ramon still vaild? I have sent him two e-mails (ballesteros@usa.com) since your post with the contact info and have not received any response. There is a strong probability that I will be going down there in the near future and I would like to get in contact with him.

B.player
I paid $425 on Aces out of Miami. Look forward to meeting you too.

B.Player,
I used to pay for plane tickets for my mother in law to come and live with us 6 months at a time (don't worry, she's a cool dude and I love having her around), and prices sky-rocket if for more than 30 days. It used to be about $750 at the time... I don't know abput now, but who expects a break over time!!! So, sorry to be the one bringing the bad news...
You may want to consider two one-way tickets (or just use a single 30 day one which you won't use the return part and fly stand by to come back)...
All,
By the way, I keep on going to those houses, and God, they will never bring me back to the US again. Girls are just great and you can go into that boyfriend girlfriend experience pretty deep. They all have their personality and as you get closer, it's a pretty beautiful sight. As an example, I had one this week performing a pretty lengthy foot massage on me (that was after sex that included lengthy and delicious 69), and that foot massage was actually done with her thong! Man, I never thought that having my big toe sucked was that good. In the US, girls will get disgussed just thinking about a foot... Here, I got every single area on each foot massaged by a mouth for about 15 minutes... And loved every minute of it. By the way, I did not know the girl before. All that to say that the industrial age did not totally made it down here. You won't be fucked like the girl before, and she will truly show you here personality. Some are not that good (I had one that refused to throw her gum before sex and kept on eating it like a cow during sex - I don't read the newspaper as I screw you, so throw the chicklet - although she was great looking, she'll never see me again), but most of them are a delight... Bad experiences are the price to pay for the lack industralization of sex down here, I don't care because there's way more rewards...
I tell you guys, but this is our little secret, this place in here is paradise and they are not taking me out of here alive...

Antifreeze, Slick, Aussie Greg
I will be arriving in Cali on Thursday June 26 with a fellow hobbyist. We will be staying at the Hotel San Fernando, tel. # (572)556-4818, under the last name “ Chailaris”. If any of you want to go out that night feel free to contact us there or you can e-mail me with your contact info. I left my e-mail address on a previous report. Slick I am not sure if you will be in town yet, but if you get a chance let me know how to get a hold of you at the Intercontantial hotel, a pool party sounds fun .
