aparthotel / parthenon selection guidance
The forum is very helpful, but perhaps some of the older posts are no longer searchable? I have searched for parthenon and only a few recent posts were retreived. I recall reading this forum in years past and finding multiple posting with "parthenon" mentioned. I cannot find them now.
So I may be asking questions which have been answered before.
1. Is http://www.accorhotels.com/accorhotels/ a good site to do the reservations through?
2. I want to make sure I get a room with a bed large enough for 2 people. Would that be "Apartamento Standard com 1 cama casal"?
3. What is the differnce between "Tarifa Balcão" (Tariff Balcony) and "Preco Promocional Internet" (internet promotional price)? Ok, the Balcao is a bit more expensive, but what is the difference in what you are reserving? Is is just the difference b/t a room with a balcony and a room without a balcony?
4. Are reservations made through accorhotels like conventional hotel reservations in respect to when the charges are actuall made and in respect to checking out early? I don't exactly know my full itinerary and may be staying all of time in SP or spending some time in SP and then splitting for Rio. So I would prefer to reserve for the full time in SP and then be free to check out early if I decide that I have had enough of SP and want to head to Rio. I know that some internet reservations are pay up front style and that would defeat my intention.
5. Here is the most important question. Please give opinions on which Parthenon or Parthenons to select. I have up to 10 days to play with so I can even split time in > 1 location, and I know SP is large so that might be a good idea. My only requirements are that the apartment have a good size bed, a kitchenette, a gym (or access to a close gym) and be located close to the action (boites, and providers). I understand that many of the indy accompanhantes are located in the Jardins area. Is that a good reason to stay near there? Basically, i want to sample the full menu - outcalls, Bomboa, Millenium, Love Story, Cafe Photo, Antares or some other top end clinicas.
Thanks in advance.

High Quality Low Cost Nights and Days
Enjoyed 2 free days in SP, ending last night.
Once again, colleagues insisting on eating too much beef delayed the real start of my evening. This eliminated Bomboa, as I needed neither additional food nor drink. One day, I'll get there. My friend, Aussie Greg, has damaged most of the garotas from Columbia through Brazil and into Buenos Aires, so I'll be spending most of the time picking up the pieces.
Anyway, for the second time, I walked the length of R. Augusta several times between 11:30pm and 3:00am. I know the relative safety of this has been debated here. I take some safety measures, but I'm sure there is some risk.
The street girls are, by and large, quite appealing. I got up close and persoanl with 15-20. They ranged in looks from 5-8, with at least 25% being near the top end of that scale.
I skipped the seediest places on the West end (Paulista side). There really is an inverse relationship between street marketing and quality. I went in to several last time. Too TJ-ish.
I went to two "Saunas." Both very near and across the street from the Pan American. I found the wait/management staff very friendly at both locations. Both wanted $R10 which would include 2 drinks. Both agreed to let me in with the obligation only to buy one. Again, I was mostly on to waters at this point, due to engorgement from beef and a handful of beers.
The girls in each place were above average. I'd say 6-8's in both. The first place, the one where a well-lit bar in front serves as the welcome area, and the club is on the same level, had 3-4 real beauties. One 5'10" who could really dance, another a blond with a fun-loving attitude, and one with an absolutely fantastic body and a bright smile. So bright, I fear the teeth aren't real. Oh, well, as long as there is no Adam's apple.
The second had fewer girls overall, and only a couple real hot ones.
Prices were similar. Girls start all over the place, but will settle for $R30-$R50. for a half-hour session. You also need to pay around $R20 for the facilities. By the way, don't even think of buying them a drink. $R30 for a non-alcoholic energy drink.
After the blond at the first place kept screwing with the prices for takeout, I decided to blow her off. Great decision, as I ran into "Brenda" at the second establishment. She is an absolute maniac. Among the nicest bodies I've seen in Brazil. She got off on voyeurism, light spanking, 3 fingers plunged into the back door, which she wanted to do with a bright light, enthusiastic everything. CBJ, which suited me fine in that particular environment. For $US28 + my $2 beer, not a bad way to finish the night.
For those of you bored enough to read this far, there is a reward.
Dani at Clinicakin. Oh, my, Gosh....
The most intense and enjoyable GFE to date. Sweet, passionate, down to earth (not my chicas' normal M.O.), horny, accommodating and enthusiastic. Just f-ing awesome. And I'm jaded, having enjoyed 22 new girls in the last 2 1/2 months. She really stands out.
The clinic is just north of the national airport. I took the metro to Judas, then got a cab the rest of the way for around $R15. You could also take the Aeropuerto bus from Paulista all the way.
Anyway, the downside is that she's leaving between March and June. She spends that time in Tenerife where she gobbles up money.
It is a very friendly clinic. I enjoyed it much more than Antares or Zen. I also saw Cleo, who is very popular. The other girls seemed very nice also. $110 Reals/ $44 Dollars for the hour. Only $150 for a double.
Enough for now. Several more posts for here and a handful for BA. I hope the forum stays up!!

FYI - Distances and taxi fare
I thought this might help some first timers planning to visit SP. I used the very helpful mapping site http://br.mapas.yahoo.com/ to generate these distances and the best part is they give taxi fare estimates so newbies like myself can know what to expect and can keep cabbies honest by telling them ahead what is expected.
These distances were calculated from the Parthenon St. Germain hotel starting point in Jardim Paulista. Other starting points yeild different results of course:
Hope this helps.
