I am in Sao Paulo for a few days and staying at the Grand Hyatt on Av. Das Nacoes Unidas. It seems that Red Massagem is nearby and could be a good place to visit. Is it? Any other recommendations?
Thanks
Of course you can meet non-pros, semi-pros, etc there too, but then again, speaking Portuguese is even more essential or required really.
Indeed. Love Story is not solely a shady after hours. It's also a rather "in" place where often elite people come to "mix with the riffraff". One day, arriving at my table, I was surprised to spot at the next table Ronaldinho with friends and chicks (which was fun as I already met him in a brasilian club in Paris, when he played for the PSG). Sometimes also girls pointed me out well-know artists, TV people, ect.

Thanks
It depends of what you mean by "nearby". The closest privê is Espaço Morumbi. Sometimes it's good sometimes it isn't.
If you want to visit Red Massagem (these days, it's for me the best place in São Paulo: good looking garotas, nice staff, premises are clean, quiet neibourghood, discouunt for GP Guia's posters, bargain for duplas, etc.) it's a little bit far from your Hotel. You will need to take a cab to go down there.
From you hotel you may try My Way (in Itaim Bibi) or if you want to spend a load of money. There's always Café Photo
I will be there, tried to PM you but your box is full.
Sorry, it should be fixed now.
Any other recommendations?
Cafe Gauguin. Don't know if it's still good though.
Red Massagem you mention is about 7 kms from Hyatt whereas Cafe Photo is at a shorter distance, about 5 kms, and time.
Anyhow in both cases cab is needed.

Gentlemen,
I just learned that November 2nd or 3rd there is a national holiday in Brazil. I think it's a religious holiday and most businesses are closed. I wonder, if garota establishments are going to work on that day. Please advise!
Best, Aibolit

Best, Aibolit
Dia de finados is like memorial day. It is a holyday to mourn for the ones you love. Most venues will be closed.

Guess the escort scene and Rua Augusta will be quiet, but most probably open in the night, don't know?
They should be open also during this holiday. Should.

I believe that only November 2 is holiday.
Other holiday will be November 15 which is Republic Day.
Thank you, SG. Any venues that you would recommend on this day, November 2nd?
I'm not really sur about that but I think that in 2009 I went that holyday to Redway. It was open but with fewer garotas. A thing is sure is the following one: the freelance garotas will work that day.
I believe that only November 2 is holiday.

So this day will then be a normal day in Brazil?
