I want to say thank you to Mr Hillbilly69 for his Map, that was my main tool to navigate Cartagena!
Also I forgot to mention I went to a Disco call Fragma after 1 am it got full of prepagos BUT the high end.
The chicas from LDV are nothing compared to what you see in there.

I'm still unpacking.
Nothing professional, taken with phones, so enjoy.
Where is Fragma?
5 Minutes walk from Cafe del Mar not sure about the street name. Its a very posh place, supposed to be where the high class go. Who knows
If your even half a man- and hopefully can speak some Spanish you will be just fine.
CTG is the most touristic and safe spot in all of Colombia!
I second that. I walked all over the Centro 3-4-5 am NOBODY bothered me. More important treat people with respect. No matter how the look / do / are. Respect them treat them as people and you will be treated equally.

LOL, Also this business about treating people with respect is not relevant here. If someone wants to rob you or kidnap you. They really don't give a shit about you're level of respect for them.
Some better advice is 1. Take taxis everywhere, ones that your hotel sets you up with. 2. Walk tall like you will f up anyone whos "thinking" about messing with you (if you have to walk somewhere) 3. Look people in the eye who stare at you, don't let them follow behind you. Be prepared to run and hollar if something does go down. But again, wouldn't it be better to just take a taxi?
All this belief in karma and I'm ok your ok is bad advice and is how weeinie liberals end up getting robbed or killed, it only takes once. Watch your ass and don't trust people you don't know, period.

Can anyone else confirm Isis is closed?
Can anyone else confirm Isis is closed?
Yes it's closed, but few miss it. Too expensive for what offered.
I agree with most of what your saying, but the taxi stuff your saying is way over the top. You don't need a taxi to take you everywhere. There are many things here in walking distance. Grabbing a taxi yourself is a very simple thing. You don't need a hotel to set you up with one.

I don't need beautiful, usually I find they are not that great, give me a decent looking girl who appreciates the time I spend with her and I am more then happy. You can have all the beautiful ones.

Everything is over the top in this post. I hope nobody will believe this. Come to CTG, be relaxed, enjoy.
(Ah, if anybody is in doubt, please compare the number of tourists robbed in CTG with the number of tourists robbed in New Orleans, or Washington, or New York, or Miami, etc. Etc.)
Mr. Blackpage, I am surprised that a seasoned traveler to Colombia such as yourself would give the advise to "be relaxed, enjoy". I have been all over Colombia and plan to move there permanently very soon but I would NEVER tell someone to relax when it comes to safety, far from it. Cartagena is by far the safest city in Colombia but it is still in Colombia, a poor third world country. I have my guard up the minute the wheels on the plane touch the ground and until I am airborne on the way home and would advise anyone else to do the same.

I have a friend that grabbed a taxi off the street in Medellin and about a block after getting in the cab the cab stopped and two thugs got in the cab on each side of my friend. They put a pistol to his head and relieved him of his money, phone and passport, not fun.
