Nica Shares Some Qualities With Colombia
First & foremost, the ABSENCE of large numbers of "predators" (to use MM's term). Girls will smile at you, but on balance they are not as cute as Colom, bianas IMHO.
Prices are cheaper than Colombia too, BUT I found Managua WAY more dangerous than most Colombian cities. More issues with thievery by the girls than in Colombia too.
Also, Carretera Massaya, the street with all the streetwalkers, had a large number of travestis (TVs) . The Playboy Club (now closed I think) was great, but LIPS, Red Palace etc seemed like overpriced clip joints. There was another area just East of the airport (on direct road to Granada) where SWs congregated.
Ricker's experience is surely more current than mine, however. Ricker, can ytou comment on how Nica scvene has changed over last several years? Thanks (I will look in Managua folder as I know this is Cali board).
you are right master monger
Predetors like yourselves, picking up the the misery that you created around you. thanks to the misery created by the US around the world but specially latin america, you can come here and pay 15 bucks for a girl and less. And some even try to bargain, you can ask the guru of this board, mr Antifreeze. The paradox is that you create the misery within your own country. I came back from the states recently and it hurts everytime I see around me, I smell the decomposition of a country that's slowly dying but that's taking everyone else down with it.
Word of caution in using Andy service while in Cali
I just returned from Cali using Andres service.Pretty sneaky of Andy to find me apartnent showing me this nice 1 bedroom for 1 .7 mil pesos for 1 month. I latter found out he got his nice commision from the landlady.. He told me the lady was firm on 1 .7mil. and there was no commision in for him. yeah right . My deal w/ him was he can stayed there after my 2 week vacation is over. Does any1 know what Andres does besides FINDING APARTMENTS 4 TOURIST? He sends me this email nice 2 bedroom apartment 2. 7. mil per month.. I say to him offer her 2 mil see if she takes it. yepp but you better act quickly. righttttt Andy.
An Interesting Thing Happened to me in Managua
PERCEPTIONS often being more important than reality when it comes to "danger" I suppose, I can only state MY PERSONAL FEELING of insecurity while in Managua. The countryside CERTAINLY is safer than in Colombia, and perhaps I have a false sense of security in Cali because I am so familiar with it. Also, I rented a 4X4 in Managua (to access the surfing beaches near Rivas) while I take taxis in Cali (and the taxistas KNOW the areas to avoid).
But i certainly defer to Ricker's opinion of relative safety, and Nica was experiencing a large series of Earthquakes when I wass there that added to the climate of fear (as a Californian I wasn't nervous, but the people wewre literally sleeping outside when I arrived because they feared their houses would collpase (this was Summer of 2000). .
I also feared shakedowns by police in Managua MUCH more than in Colombia. I got hit up TWICE while driving in Managua, once with reason once without. One incident (where they had a reason) was a humorous anecdote which I shall tell here.
I am VEHEMENTLY opposed to driving while intoxicated and would NEVER do so at home. But in Managua I had the 4X4 so I chose to drive with a friend to Playboy Club (where you were required to buy a bottle). So we leave at 3am and I am quite buzzed, but there is ZERO traffic on the street and our hotel was closeby and there was no way I was leaving the rig there overnight.
As anyone who has driven in Managua can tell you, road markings are virtually nonexistent and one way streets can suddenly become one way IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION with no warning. So I cruise through just such an intersection and all of a sudden find myself heading straight into a police truck heading the opposite direction. I hit the brakes and 3 heavily armed cops jump out with guns drawn with tension written all over their faces (like they expected a gunbattle with traqueros). As soon as they realize we are two gringos coming home from a night out, the tension in their faces is replaced with shit eating grins. These guys are SO friendly now. So they begin discussing the code section for going the wrong way into a one way street and begin arguing amonst themselves ("es siete ******", "no, es quince claro, no sabves nada . . . ."). They have a card listed sections and fines but cannot agree on which section applies. I give them $20 or so worth of Cordobas and all is forgiven. In fact, they tell me I can continue going the wrong way up the one way street until reaching my hotel, and they then provide us an escort back to the hotel. NEVER once mentioned a breathalyzer despite the fact I am SURE I smelled of Bacardi.
MM: Nope, got no "animosity" towards you. I think your constant discussion of how cool you THINK you are (and how you view people from other countries as inferior) a bit excessive, but to each their own.
I DO, however, think you should NOT purport to speak for all of us when you refer to mongers as "predators"; I, for one, would NEVER refer to myself in that fashion but then I do not view pleasure assistants as "prey" to be brutalized. I LOVE foreign women and like to HELP THEM (the fact that I seek sexual pleasure in return does not, IMHO, make me a "predator"). Your posts with statements like that are fertile recruiting tools for femanazis and NGOs who want to portray we punters as "predators" and they DO read this board.
I sincerely wish you the best of luck, and am happy you have decided to focus on China instead of Colombia. This is the same way I felt when Saint decided to move to Argentina instead of Colombia (and I continue to wish for him to succeed with his business in BA). Cheers.
Surfer you should proofread!
Surfer Read your post out loud before you post it.
So you can correct your obvious mistakes, and also so you can hear what your posts sound like. Just a tip...
I am sure though....everyone is much more afraid of Nicaragua now that you told them you got pulled over, FOUR YEARS AGO, going down the wrong way of a one way street. Not only that, but it only cost you $20 and they didn't bust you for being intoxicated. I understand why you were drunk though, I "know" they not only make you buy a bottle, but also force you to drink it all.
I actually experience pain in my head, sometimes, when I read your posts.

I am arrogant but I think I have some bragging rights, and so do a lot of other members on here. I don't view people from other countries as inferior, if anything I feel that way about a lot of Americans, which is why I am leaving the US and moving to the Orient.

Well, I apologize for using the word Predator, I was using it as a synonym to hunters or mongers, mostly because a lot of people say Happy Hunting, but I have hence changed it to hunters. I am glad you are finding it so controversial to pounce on me with, but let's look at what you said.
I think I will even send an anonymous letter to the Colombian Newspapers and Government. It will go like this: This guy I know from California wants to help the girls of Colombia by trading them Sex for Money. I am sure they will be thrilled an use much less harsh words than Predator. In fact, I am sure you want to help those who don't have food first. Maybe you can negotiate a program similar to Iraq's "Oil For Food" but of course call it "Sex for Food"

Your final paragraph put it all together for me, you are jealous and mad at me and Saint because we came to your favorite city, tore it up with awesome girls and prices and then we both spoke the truth and said there are a lot better places in the world. Well sorry...
Happy Hunting,
Master Monger
Thanks for your contributions, Master Monger.
Most of the old farts from Cali and other towns are not as fast as you whne it comes to the girls, and I appreciated your details and reports.
Please don't take alot of their abuse because of your success. Sex is about ego! and scoring! and alot of the slower guys are jealous and wish they could get as many scores as you did. Don't listen to their crap, just keep up the good work and good reports.
I did not send this by PM because alot of other guys are silently reading your reports and envious.
the wsg equivalent for women
Sorry NPaul, no jealousy whatsoever. Should there be more technological awareness and resources in the hands of women that are "preyed", there would be an equivalent to wsg for women. They would go on and brag about the fact that they got so many $$$ out of this guy, dated 4 guys at the time during that period, and make group trips to Tijuana just to prey on men together for some time so that they could learn some new techniques from each other.
The ones that are being "preyed" are not exclusively the women. Let's face it, sex is about a symbiosis. We use them as they use us. Inflating someone's ego is part of their technique and they're good at it. Women are far from stupid (and even more in Colombia where it's not a game, it's a survival necessity for a lot of them).
That being said, I also loved MM's reports. I take what I want to take from them. If MM wants to be full of himself, then let him be. We all have the right to our personality, even online (as long as people are not rude and irrespectful of others - everything goes).
Happy "hunting" and "hunted"
