I recommend Armenia for a short stay.
BTW, I am bored with Armenia so I don't think I will come back to Armenia.

I'm sorry for it. If you don't like to come back again you got a bad experience.
But in Arrmenia I think you cannot go into bar or night clubs and to fuck beautiful prostitutes only. Armenia is much more. Close to Armenia there is a another and different town as Pereira. It is more pleasant in the night. Close Pereira and Armenia there are many pueblitos interesantes. Then in my opinion I would mix the fucking with prostitutes with those of normal girls. I think in Armenia and Pereira there is much to make .... and they are cheper than other bigger town.

You hit the nail on the head. If you want working girls, stay in the larger cities. If you want to get fucked to death by non-pros, hit the coffee valley. Just realize that you need a little more time and some Spanish to accomplish the latter. It would also help to understand the culture a bit.
Foxes, I will hazard a wild guess that English is not your native language. Your English is much better than my Spanish.

Yes you are right, I speak better spanish than english. But I think it is not necessary to speak perfect spanish to conquer and to fuck colombian girls. Sometime it is sufficient a seductive smile! jajajajajaaja

Armenia vs Pereira
Hello everyone.
Three of us ISGers are headed to Periera on June 18th for 3 days. One of us speaks fluent Spanish, I am at the survival level after living in Bogota for 5 months, and the other knows elementary Spanish at best from schoool 500 years ago.
We see that Periera is a lot higher for hotel rooms then Armenia. Should we just bag Periera and head to Armenia? We are decent looking gringos in our 30s but afraid it might be a waste to go after the non-pros in Armenia with little time. We don't want to end up dry all day and night!
Thanks for any advice.
If anyone would like any information about Bogota..other than, "don't go" then let me know! hehe

Thank you very much Winner71.
Have you been to Armenia too? Do you think you can pull a non-pro out the bar easy enough with intermediate spanish and good game? =)

Armenia non-pros
Thank you very much Winner71.
Have you been to Armenia too? Do you think you can pull a non-pro out the bar easy enough with intermediate spanish and good game? =)
That depends on how long you are staying in Armenia. Non-pros are very available in Armenia. You donīt even have to go to bars to meet non-pros. You can meet regular chicas ANYWHERE in the town such as cafes, malls, etc. Trust me. You jsut have to strike a conversation.
Just stay away from the north area of the town. In the affluent neighbor of the north, chicas have money so they prefer going out with local rich, young kids and are not intersted into foerigners unless you are Brad Pit.
From what I know, available regular chicas are very intereted in meeting foreigners but you have to be descrete; in many occasion chicas are afraid of getting seen by their frineds while they are with gringos. I had to go to out-of-town motels to bang them as the chicas donīt wanna come to the hotel where everybody knows them.
Have a safe trip.

Therefore is it better to reach Pereira then Armenia too meet regular girls?
Pereira is a bigger town and perhaps the girls have less problems with the hotel.
Do I make a mistaken?

Good point Chute.. personally I do not go to discos looking to meet non-pros. Find the gal in the daytime and then take them out to the disco at night. It's much more difficult then it seems or even should be to pick up a non-pro in a disco anywhere in Colombia at least in my experince. It can be done and I have done it many times... there are just so many obstacles to overcome. It's so much easier just to meet them in the daytime and they fold like silly putty.

I've noticed that too. If I meet a girl from match.com or something for a one on one date then I usually get laid that night or the next on a date. But I have found it to be difficult to take a girl out of a club or restaurant.
Also, I've found the girls to be a lot colder in Bogota and difficult to talk to than Medellin. In fact, I was getting laid more by non-pros in San Diego or San Francisco than here. I hope this changes when I move to Armenia or Periera!

Hotels in Armenia

C
If my memoery is correct, the name of the hotel that I stayed is Don Quijote. It is on the corener of carrera 15 and calle 23 (it is on carrera 15) which is the south bottom of the downtown (el centro). The price at the time of my stay was about 40,000 pesos (about less than $20) but the peso has been appreciating since then. This hotel is very chica friendly at no extra cost. You can bring as many chicas as you want.

Hi chute, I actually found the website for hotel don quixote, but it is right next to plaza bolivar in the center of town. So we will probably drive by the cra 15 and calle 23 to look for the hotel you mentioned.
thanks.

Anyway you can find the hotel at carrera 15 and calle 23. Itīs right across a park so you wonīt miss it. A guy at the front desk can hook you up with regular chicas if you want.
Chao,
