Whatīs the address of Salamane?
I tried finding it last night. I went to the corner of Quito and Velez and didnīt see anything that was apparently it. There was one place that had a guy sitting in the door way and loud music coming from upstairs. There was no sign. It was on Quito street about 3 doors down from Velez. Is that it?
Coming to Guayaquil on the 7th of OCT 2008

Taxes in SA or Guyaquil for a few years stay...
I was in Guayaquil last year and I really liked it. What I liked most was the climate. It's hot, but not too hot, that was perfect for me and that's like that the whole year. One girl told me some months was a bit cooler, but anyway still above the 20 degrees or just a bit under it during the night.
In comparaison Lima , Buenos Aires, Quito or Paraguay are less attractive what concerns the climate.
I plan to stay there a few years. Does anyone knows how much should I pay taxes there ?
I won't work. I will live just with my savings, so I won't have an income....
Or does somebody knows where to get on the web some infos about staying a few years in some countries in SA and about the taxes in South America.
Thanks in advance.

Moving to Guayaqil... wanna meet Doombringer
Hey guys,
I am an old school forum contributor who "retired" due to being exposed by someone. Some of you old school guys may figure out who I am by the last 3 letters on my current name.
The reason I mention is I am not just trying to get some free info without contribution.
So, I would like to ask, what is a Chongo? I see a lot of mentions of them but not an explanation. Seems Doombringer is the local expert. I also recall you left your number to contact if someone goes down there, but now I cant find that post.
If you dont mind to let me know how to contact you I will be down there for extended stays this month and next, and repeatedly in the future.
Thanks, and I look forward to sharing once I get a clue what I am doing there.
Thanks.
