My suggestion is to buy a cheap phone dedicated to Czech Vodafone card. In that way you can be always reachable to your home number, without continuous sim card swapping.
In a holiday budget, cheap phone cost (about 30 euros here in Italy for some Motorola or Nokia) could'nt be a problem.
By the way, what happens to Vodafone card when the money expire? How long does the number exist after this if I don't pay? How to pay for Czech Vodafone if I'm outside Czech Republic? If you know how to do it through internet, could you, please, drop a link? Thank you.
Metro Muzeum, at the beginning of Venceslaw square, on right side looking down, you see shop VODAFONE, just half minute after the mac donald, I bought there for 500kc a sim with already inside 500kc of credit, it works great for me.
Interesting that they neither asked me my ID to sell me the sim.
I heard about this shop, but was unable to find it. But it's also possible to buy a Vodafone cards in internet cafes and in Tesco.

#1 Diskret - in general you can't be wrong in this private. Nice looking girls, clean rooms, good quality of services for reasonable prices.
#2 The private "U Zajice" ("Rabbit's" or maybe "At a rabbit") actually is not a private at all - it's a night club with some girls working during a day - something like a Sweet Paradise but the girls are probably not as good looking. Even from the photos on escort.cz you can see it's a low-end. I would never go there expecting good service. By the way it's not located next to Slavia soccer stadium but next to Sparta's stadium.
#3 & #4 Yes, "U dvou kocicek" ("At two kitties") is not a bad private - nice looking young girls, reasonable price, but definitely not a GFE. Another thing is there is very little chance for additional services (except for OWO including CIM - this should be included in the price with most of the girls). I guess the girl with long blond hair you met was Diana. Anyway don't trust the photos on escort.cz - I've never seen there these girls. As far as I know (I asked one of the girls) there are about 6 girls but not at the same time - you can always meet at most 2 girls at the same time (one of them is always Eva). BTW as far as I know the price should be 1200, not 1500 CZK.
Buying a local SIM card is definitely a good idea - not only it's cheaper, but some of the girls won't answer the phone if they see a phone number from a different country. OK, maybe they'll hang up as soon as they find you don't speak czech, but a chance is they won't. There is not much difference between the three operators here (T-Mobile, Oskar and Vodafone) when it comes to prepaid SIM cards. Anyway you can go in a second hand - buy whatever you want. If you want to buy a used cell phone, just walk in second-hand phone shop, and buy for example some of the cheap ones (it will cost less than about 1000 CZK / 40 euros or so).

There are number of Vodafone shops in Prague which might be the best to do to start with and then most Kiosks and newspaper shops will sell you credit:-)

The only way to re-fill your phone through internet is to buy a spare credit when you are in CR and preserve it to refill a few day before expiring date. Expiring date you can know or calling customer care, or via internet, but in this case you have to register yourself on the site.

Peno CZ - U dvou kocicek
Regardings the girls pictures on escort.cz, I personnally met Erika & Martina several times as well as Sara once. As far as I know, Erika is now back to Olomouc but Martina is still working from time to time. Don´t know about Sara. But you´re right, there are about 6-8 girls working in this flat - 2 girls available daily. New faces can be found every month but some girls are hard to catch as they are working only on weekends or working only a couple of days a week or are taking a one or two weeks break (some girls have a regular jobs on the side)...
The price of 1200 kc/hour is correct but for czech speaking customers :) Girls are charging 1500 kc/hour to foreigners... (double pricing is not unsual in private flats).

I already have a Dual Band Vodafone - I have been reliably informed it will work OK
last year I travelled from Prague, to Vienna, to budapest to Krakow.
The phone changed provider within yards of the borders :)
Is it aimed at our US colleagues to get the new sim cards?

It seems that those who are to lazy to learn proper Czech have to pay the price:-)

Of interest is the 'spread' of 300 kcs per hour between Czech guests and foreign. A very good Czech native language teacher will charge 250-300 Kcs per hour for one on one Czech instruction. As this represents the potential hourly savings for learning reasonable Czech when visiting Privates, it looks like a no-brainer and a "free ride". All assuming that you intend to spend hours in Czech Privates, of course.
-
Of course it´s not worth time, money & energy to learn czech language just to save 300 kc (11 Euros) during a single visit in Prague. Even if some price differences can be higher in other privates (between 500 and 1500 czk sometimes).
Otherwise for very frequent visitors or expats, it really worth the effort.
First you´re saving on daily basis (not only in privates but also on taxis, in restaurants & bars...) but the most valuable thing is :
you can meet czech girls (who really respect foreigners speaking their language - I heard many times czechs saying that czech language is difficult to learn even for czech natives) and get invited to join them to events/parties/nights out/social life... the best way to make contacts and get freebies...
About privates & night clubs, speaking czech can also help you to get extras (like french kissing or BBBJ) from girls who will not give it automatically to everyone - even free sometimes. It ´s a question of chemistry between two people and good communication helps a lot. Being a regular customer too :)
It also helped me to negociate better rates for escorts in the past: In the 90´s I dealed with some girls in night clubs meetings when they had a "day off" (well I should say a "night off"). I was charged several times 10 000 czk (350 Euros) for the whole night (from 6-7pm till morning). Later, after having learned some czech, the rates dropped to 7 000 (245 Euros) than later to 5 000 czk (175 Euros) for the whole night (ending most of the time next day afternoon).
I have friends who had similar experiences in Moscow or Kiev (better rates, better service, freebies they would not have without learning russian language). But again it only worth time, money & energy if you´re a frequent traveller or expat who can get a return on investment.
-
I disagree. Knowledge of Czech is essential. By this you can target the chicks who do not speak english and so are not available to foreign tourists. Furthermore these girls often have a lot less opportunities since they do not speak languages and are employed in low-paid jobs. By speaking czech you increase your chances to get a freebie vast. Speaking russian gives you 1000% advantage in FSU.

erotic massage
Hi guys,
I've read most of the posts in this thread. Haven't found any reports from erotic massage parlors in Prague though. Does anybody have any tips when it comes to erotic massage or tantra massage in Prague?
Thanks,
J

I 100% agree with Mark ABC:-)
There are also a number of Czech people who speak German as a second language not English.
So 200-300 CZK a lesson for people recently moved out there or are there ruglarly is not a waste of money, it can be handy in other aspects than just in this Hobby:-)
Regarding Restaurnats you are right on that one too when I was in U Jagusky in Palmovka in March I noticed some things on the English Menu had higher prices:-) But it was not a major differnce, the beer was though 27CZK for everyone:-)
Of course it´s not worth time, money & energy to learn czech language just to save 300 kc (11 Euros) during a single visit in Prague. Just one tip: be aware if you use your foreign car here in Prague, cause the Metska Police will try to steal your money a lot of times..I live in Prague, they stopped me 9 times in 3 months, and all the times without having done anything wrong..and keep attention when you park the car..they love to immobilize your foreign car with blockers to the tyres..
For fuck Czech *****s, try +420 606357709, no English but is in Lucemburska 29..
