Well, the Grahadi website has caught my eye and I'm thinking of dipping in with more than my toe on my next pass-through in Bal.
First, thanks for a good first report. Sounds like you were able to find some, uh, private time while carrying domestic baggage. I know the problem!
Some questions--
Can you give an idea of what the rooms cost at Grahadi? I can't make any sense of the website information on this point
Could you select the girl from a line-up or a fishbowl or a book or...? And how did you get to Grahadi? by taxi or ...?
I am asking because I am passing through Bali twice in October and I really want to give Grahadi a try. The girls on the website are really good looking.
Any info much appreciated.
~TTG
The VIP rooms cost between 80k and 120k for an hour (I think it might depend on the girl) and obviously that includes the basic massage. The website is totaly useless as far as the massage section goes. Just in case you haven't read elsewhere on this site to get to it walk past the security hut and go straight ahead between the two main buildings and you will find it a little past the building on your right. I am staying in Seminyak, took a taxi down to Planet Hollywood/DFS and walked the 100 yards or so from there - I like my privacy! That cost between 30-50k depending on the route/rush hour etc. If you don't mind get the taxi to take you straight there but be prepared to fob off the inevitable "you want woman" question.
You select the girl from about 40 photos on the reception desk - the girl on duty gives you a card showing the numbers of the girls available at that time and you choose from there. Obviously there's more room for mistake because you don't see the real thing until you've made the choice but I didn't find it way worse than at BM where you choose from the fishbowl.
I haven't taken much notice of the website (which is www.grahadi-bali.net by the way) because I'm not sure that the girls shown there are ones who work the massage rooms.
Best wishes for next month TTG.
