Previous poster on varying rates is all about supply and demand. Day 1 at Banana, was amazed at the gazillion men vs women ratio. With that said, I didn't bargain as I felt that 2000 is still an incredible bargain. With that said, perhaps I am stupid, but I think that my money goes further and means more for the girl that it does for me. Perhaps a reflection of my age (or I am a sucker ! ), but for an extra $20, it is worth it. This assumes of course that it turns out to be a GFE. If it is, I keep her, if it isn't I don't. Last trip, a keeper. I overspent by $60. Oh well!

Gents,
Can anybody give some recommendations for my forthcoming are&are visit to Phuket. Looking for advice on best MP's, soapy's and night/show clubs'
Any advise would be readily looked into.
Appreciate,

Hello fellow folks.
Here is my report on the Beach Road Inn. I stayed there 5 nights as planned and I was happy there. It is more a guesthouse than a hotel but that was exactly what I wanted to have. In opposite to info here on the board they did not charged me a joiner fee extra on the 1200 a night. But maybee this was because I took the same girl every nighht and did not behaved like a typicall monger (like I did in Pattaya the next days). Additionally my girl is no longer in the scene but works in a hotel as receptionist. Maybee this also made them not charge me (collegues.). But like in all hotels: to be sure, just ask them in advance. If you are to shy to be precise just ask if it would cost anything extra if you bring a "friend" you plan to meet there.
On the scene in general: like the last years. Phuket definetlz is upscale in prices (for Thailand) but a beatiful place to make holidays. If you just want to monger around you should go to pattaye. There the lt is 1000 (and still negotiable) while you should think of 2000 for an LT in patong. You can get it cheaper with freelancers in tai pan for sure (just stay on soi san sabaai when it closes). I did not checkedthat out because I have my girl there (really more a friend now, trz to help here get a farang for marriage. That is not exactly our hobby but also some funb)
Right now I am in cambodia (hotel recommended in this forum in the siam reap threat. Golden orange) will post mz reports in that thread.
I was a bit quick in my previous post. What I mean is that the 1000 ST/1500 LT tariff is not an average price, but a maximum price. I haven't tried the GoGo girls, but I wasn't impressed by their beauty either.
Meal Soy Hooing, I'm afraid it was not me. I don't go often to Banana as there is too much smoke and it's too hot after a while (I suspect the dico's management to do it on purpose in order to induce customers to spend more on drinks).
By Bangkok standards Banana disco falls way short as a nightclubbing option, whilst vacationing at Patong. Sure, its on a beach far from the bright lights of a major city but there are many reasons for me not to go there again. The biggest problem with Banana is that they dont seem to limit the number of paying customers to enter. That's why there is often no room to move (and you even have to fight your way to the bar), the ratio of male farangs to thai girls is way too high and the air temperature and lack of ventilation can make it suffocating.
For the guys that go there with the prospect of picking up a freelancer, there is little reason to go inside as many of the girls will hang outside after a while anyway. And considering there are thousands of girls just around the corner (willing to go for less money) it makes me wonder why anyone would bother with Banana for girls. Perhaps some guys feel less guilty about disco freelancers and dont believe they are sleeping with a WG later that night.
from my recent visit last week.. the main place will be to stay in patong, main area, and visit around bangla road etc. you can cover almost every club, bar street, mp place etc. in about 3-4 days.. its not that big.
the other beaches such as karon and kata are very quiet in comparison. i stayed kata 3n, and could only find one street (leads down to some villas) which had some form of bars and bargirls (very minimal set-up). not much at karon.
in patong, i liked soi tiger, though a bit noisy and filled with dirty back-packers. i didnt get harrassed at all, since it was too chaotic even for the bargirls.
soi croc, had too many ladyboys.. in fact the whole of patong seemed to have a lot of ladyboys, mainly walking around bangla road.
one night i had left things until too late, like 2-3am, and found it very easy to pick up a freelancer (actually i got raped myself) walking into the tiger disco place on top of soi tiger.. easy pick up..
i did notice freelancers in patong will try to rip people off.. patong seemed much for money agreessive than pattaya or other places.. one idiot freelancer, about a 6/10 wanted 2000st. i ended up with a 7/10, she performed ok, i got cif in the end.. several hours, and i wanted to sleep alone, so paid 1500, which was a bit longer than st.
also some will try to take money at the start.. always give after.
a few of the pool bars were good, and i enjoyed myself more playing pool with a few cute bargirls than in the chaotic disco's or bars in soi tiger.
best massage was some dive of a place about 500 up beach road from bangla road.. up on level 3 of a building.. ended up taking one of the girls out later in the night (same day as i had a massage), and she ended up staying with me overnight (no charge).
overall i found patong a bit aggressive for my liking.. but would go back for a few days or so, if visiting phuket.

Is there a direct flight from Phuket to CM and CM to Phuket?

I have been in Thailand 4 times. Mostley in phuket. But in may I am off to cambodia. Is May/June good months. And how different is mongering in Cambodia from Phuket?
Hope you take your time to answer.
Is there a direct flight from Phuket to CM and CM to Phuket?
There was one to CNX to HKT but not a return direct. Check out the TG site as things are not the same since gthe politicos decided to do a lil Thaksin bashing with the reopening of DM. Even though Thaksin once said that Bangkok should have two airports etc. Still the whole thing is a mess so check the schedule.
I have been in Thailand 4 times. Mostley in phuket. But in may I am off to cambodia. Is May/June good months. The mongering scene in Cambodia is very different. It is far less visable and for the foreigner the number of available girls is a small fraction of Phuket/Thailand. You will spend more time on seeking out girls that suit you and the party scene in general is way bigger in Phuket. The P4P scene in Cambodia is slow paced, which decribes the country in general.
Probably a good idea to read all the posts on the Phnom Penh board which will give you a good idea what it's like there.
Thanks for the info.. dont get me wrong, I had a good time in Patong. I did like it, and i met some hot chicks playing pool, which were open to coming back to my room. I also got a freebie from a nice massage girl. Definitely NOT a bad trip. However, compared to some other spots in Thailand I just found it a bit aggressive/confronting. However, I would go back again also.
Next time I will be sure to check out those areas (you mentioned) that I missed.. cheers.

Hi,
A quick answer as some temples are waiting.
So, this is the first difference from Thailand if you go to siam reap. Ere there are temples and no beachers so you have to spend mre energy during the day. This definetlz efects my mongering behavior. (and I am just 36 years.)
I hard and will check out next week that pnomh ponh is worth a visit just for the fun part in the nightlife. Will report then.
Time in may/June may be o. K. If you like rain. Rainy season starts about that time. Maybe jou ca have luck in may. But it wil be fuckiing hot in the daytime.
Here in siam reap you hould have some interest in the temples because the city is build because of that. Funny thing is that you really see a lot of different people (Chinese, korean, japanese, thai, europeans, americans) and they al meeet up in the known places (check this thread).
I am staying in the gorlden orange hotel with was recommended here with very good arguments. The owner formerlz owned a bar in pnomh pen and I was just beeing out with him ans some friend with gave me a wonedrful niught to remember.
Scene here is not that way as it is in Thailand, because here are no speciialized areas. It is more the way that there are some masage parlors with service, spome bars\discotheques and some places for "takeawayfood". As there are many rtourists without special mongering experience some places survive that rip you of (50 bucks a fuck. No way). But you can get an allnighter for 20.
Conclusion: if you like temples and the feeling of a booming melting pot siam reap is definetly worth a visit. And you don't have to sleep alone. If your main focus is the nightlife maybe go directlz to pnomh pen (I will be there next week for ust 2 nights. As I like temples.)

I am really impressed!! Apparently Jackson DOES read every post in his forum. I had - stupidly upon reflection - written arrrrrR Teeee efffffF effffF instead of just RTFF - and he had corrected it!
Jackson - Do you do all this work by yourself or do you have a large staff?
In any case - I think you're really doing a bang-up job and I really do appreciate all your hard work.
Regards
