Check, thanks fellows. Will check all three and take notes. Are they lively all week or pretty much a fri to sun places? I supposse I could hit all 3 in one eve.
Anyone around in february I will be happy to buy some drinks and chat it up. Cheers!
Very much every day, but there are other places just as good or even better. Check Carnivore on Wednesday night or Casablanca on weekend. Also, Pizza Garden or even any major hotel has girls that are always available if you can pin point them. For example, I picked up two friends at Carnival on a Wednesday evening, . And two days later I saw one of the girl at Serena hotel bar dressed up as a business woman. At Carnivore, the damage was 3000 KSH (for both) for the night. But at Selena she started quoting 7000 KSH. I laughed and walked away And yes, I normally hit multiple clubs in one evening. And you can walk from one to the other. Just be careful.

Hotel pickups
Agree - hotel pickups are easy.
Am in a central Nairobi hotel right now
Yesterday - about 4pm .. went to the bar for a smoke (not easy to find legal places to smoke in Kenya!!) - sat down, 30 secs later was joined by a lady - who was a phone card seller on weekdays.
Back to my room after 5 mins .... cost me 3000khs - ($40) .. although she asked for $200 (!!!) for as long as I wanted.
Godd thing about this time of day is that there is no "room charge" for guests - which at night can be from $60-100 depending on the hotel !
We had a good time .. I like DATY .. which she enjoyed too - no rush
in fact she said that she enjoyed so much that she should be paying me !

Itinerary?

Concarne mate, you very ambitious, i would be incapable of leaving one club for the other during the same evening. By my reckoning, they are that good. What you want to do is only go midnight, Sunday through Tuesday to Madhouse. Florida 2000 on the early weekdays is not too quite, never the less still enjoyable.
Wednesday, you have ladies night at Carnivore, begins about 9`ish. Later on you may want to avoid reggae night at Madhouse, it`s bedlam. Rather head to Florida 2000, gets busy as the week wears on, big club, enjoyable, you will see some faces come over from madhouse.
You may want to read a report i put in last Sept: http://www.internationalsexguide.info/forum/showpost.php?p=646864&postcount=683
And by the way, Carnivore restaurant is unique in that it stands out far different to any other restaurant experience i have had to date, you have to experience a meaty meal there. Comes recommended.

Camera is ready!

Anyone free

Yes lets meet!
Hey sure, we can meet for a drink. I just read your excellent report in the Uganda forum and added a short one myself. How will we meet up? Because we are not allowed to exchange contacts here. Or to avoid imposters you tell reception you are expecting a visitor of the caucasian type at a certain time, certain rendevous location. But they will ask me for a name. Even a first name can work.

Banking
Guys:
Is it a good option to, rather than using my ATM, open a bank account at a local bank or branch of euro bank? Is that allowed for tourists? Can it be done quickly? What banks would be good? Branches should be available both in Nairobi and MBA.
W/o going into detail I need to have a separate account to keep the gf from knowing the extent of the cash outlay for entertainment. Rather not open another bank account at home.
Advice appreciated, TIA

Advice appreciated, TIA
All banks are required to ask for your Kenya Rev Authority PIN# before opening an acct for you. There are ways around it, but I doubt it's worth the effort it would take, just for a couple of weeks. Suggest you set up a separate acct at home, but make sure they don't sock you for outrageous foreign ATM charges and that their Xchange rates are better than retail.

I've never needed to keep anything from anyone, but getting cash from an ATM down there has always worked best for me. I just get the max per day out and use that for several days so I only need to pay the fees occasionally. Barclays Bank tends to have the best cash machines. There have only been a couple of times I could not get money from one of their machines, but I have had the others not work many times.

Advice appreciated, TIA
Try Mpesa from Safaricom. You can use your passport to open an account and keep as much as 30,000/= in it. You can also send money to your GF via your mobile phone. Better than carrying cash around with you. Google the word mpesa for more info.

Newbie here
Guys,
I am going to Nairobi soon. Really looking forward to it. Been there before, but that was before I had opened my eyes lol! (from reading this forum, life experience etc)
Back the the New Florida 2000 was amazing. A lot of fun!
I have a lot of questions on my mind, hoping that you seasoned guys can help me out with them:)
Hope you don't mind!

First questions:
- do you guys think that the Terminal is the best hotel?
- do anyone have updated phone nr for the Terminal or mail adress?
- have anyone used the Hilton or the Boulevard Hotel?
Thanks!

Easy enough to find an agent to withdraw cash?
I will be using my usual account but I do want to have a separate fund flow to keep the added entertainment costs below the radar.
Thanks!

Boulevard Hotel
First questions:
- have anyone used the Hilton or the Boulevard Hotel?
Boulevard is ok.
Reasonable priced (was <$70 last time I was there)
Rooms reasonable .. not 5 star.
Internet ..only at their local internet-cafe .. for a price! and up to 9pm
Girl-friendly ... well you have to register her & pay the double-room fee
unless you get a doubleroom in advance.
She needs a pass to get out the gate (showing you have registered her and paid if needed)
There are garden entrance rooms - so you do not have to pass the foyer - possible to sneak guests in here!
