Try calculating the current time value of staying in Rio / day. I'm still trying to negotiate my daily rent with my ex landlord in Copa as I'm schedule to arrive in Rio next week. In recent times, the kind of sharks and skanks hangout at Balcony Zoo makes me not want take them back to my apt anymore. I used to do Luomo on Sundays and since it's closed I came up with a new approach. I'm so dedicated to honor Terma chiks #s this time so I can meet up on Sundays because there isn't any alternatives anymore. I'm planning a new policy which is to offer R$100 for 1hr for BBBJ and completa in the Lido motel close to Balcony. I did it twice last year during weekend nights with some really young hot Brasileras. The total damage was R$100 + 60-80 (depends on what they charge now per hr). I'm sticking to this strategy so the mission is accomplished and I can sleep in peace with my BOTH eyes closed.
That sound like a good plan. So is Balcony the only option for sundays?
That sound like a good plan. So is Balcony the only option for sundays?
Balcony has never been the only option for anything and won't ever be the only option for anything, except for being overcharged.
Nothing personal at all, but Balcony is only a good plan for the mongers who havn't done their homework.

Redway churrasco
I've read many reports from ABG regardings churrascos at São Paulo privês (or maybe just Redway). Why don't they have the same in Rio? Maybe not that easy when the privês are inside buildings, without a garden or a yard?
I like the idea. Nice grilled meat, cold beer and beautiful ladies available for P4P. The only churrasco combined with P4P I've seen has been at VM, but I've not the courage to eat any churrasco in VM.
Sperto, to my knowledge, the only privée that has a backyard with a brick churrasqueira is Redway.
Least year we did organise some churrascos at Vaní's Paradise but after Vaní split the partneship those churrascos belong to a part of the history!
But the best part of the churrascos parties is the excelent cast of women such an event can attract.
Girls love the party and the chance of making good money!
Sperto try to organise tematic feasts at some privèe, like for example, the "lingerie" party we organised at PFA.

Bbbj / cim
Can this happen in Brazil? I have read so many posts but all of them end at BBBJ but have not seen any where the girls seem to offer BBBJCIM etc.
Read my TDs at the São Paulo board.
I can not belive that BBBJ / CIM is only a paulistas practice. Rio must also have a bunch of garotas who love eating see*m

Good times in Rio again
I had a short but perhaps one of my most fun-filled trips ever to Rio just recently. Here are the highlights:
Day 1: Went to 4 X 4 and was trying to decide weather to get with someone new or not. For the first time in eons I had a wingman and his regular girl showed up and they were gone. So I was left by myself in the boite wondering who to choose. Well, Lavinia was there with her devilish self and managed to lure me to go up with her. For her fans, you know she is built for business: Small waist, huge natural tits and an couple of beach balls for an ass. Nevertheless, I got my money's worth, that girl is made for sin! Great start to the trip.
Day 2: Returned to 4 X 4 and decided to try one of my true proven regulars: Grazi. Her picture has been posted here before, but here is her description: She is about 5' 3' tall, measures 38 DD on top. 29 waist and about a 42 at the hips. Another outstanding performance by her, she is a true gem and great in the sack.
Afterwards, we decided to go to Cancun to take advantage of their entrance / consumption deal. There I spotted one of the famous twins. Their pictures are all over this forum a few years past. She is still in the business, I have ho idea what happened to her sister. But it was good to run into her, I know where to find her and she is on my hit list for the next trip.
Day 3: Returned to 4 X 4. This time I tried performer that was recommended by one of our Senior Members: Safado69. The girl was Ellen. She is well built, a hot super morena who just had her breasts enhanced: She is about 5' 4' tall. 36DD. 26' waist and a round 38' bubble butt. She was a seriously excellent performer, willing to please us. She is a bit older (27 to 29?) , but she loves to go to the gym and it shows. She was really as good as advertised.
Day 4: Decided to go to a private to try doing a dupla, so I went to one of my favorite spots in Tijuca. There I choose two really great performers: Renata and Brenda. It was a wild ride, especially since both girls worked extremely well together. Renata has a model's build, slender, nice legs, nice C cups and deep tanlines while the other one was thick in all the right places with a vacuum cleaner on her head to perform fellatio. Really a great session.
Afterwards went to 4 X 4 and was not going to session that day unless the girl was one of my favorites. We were on the eve of a major Brazilian holiday so my hopes were fading fast when one of my favorite performers walked in the door. She came right at me, she had an idea that I was going to take her straight to the room and she was right. Took Bianca again to a Super Suite (I took all the girls on this trip to Super Suites, more room to bounce around and on many occasions, extra time to shoot the second time on target). She never disappoints. I love this country!
Day 6: A lot of places were closed due to the holiday, but my wingman and I found an open private on a Saturday after the Easter holiday. I will tell only those who have contributed to the forum with details only so don't ask if all you do is ask questions and do not post / share information. (Pm me for which private). I tried Bia, a very tall lady with a killer body. She started with a weak-ass massage but finished with a wild front and back cowgirl ride worth the price of admission.
All in all a very nice trip, all girls were as great as they have ever been. The prices for 4 X 4 have gone up once again by BR10 I believe on 1 May, so I saved a few bucks during this trip, but not much. Still, for the sheer amount of fun that I have I have to say, I will be back soon.
-
I want to plan a return trip to Rio soon. I was there for the first time 2 years ago. I know prices have gone up and some places have closed. Any other changes I should be aware of? Last time I only hit the main termas 4x4, MC, Luomo, and Solarium. This time I want to check out the mid range and smaller termas in centro.

I agree with some of the guys here. Screw Rio. Its too expensive for what you get now. I haven't been in over 2 years. People say do you miss Rio. I say I miss the Old Rio. I am not going to go private hunting everyday like a couponer digging through the Sunday paper to try and save money. If I can't go to a top 5 termas everyday, and hook up with a girl, room, and entrance for 120.00, I aint going again. 470 reals for terma 65, solarium and the others. Forget it. I will have to stick to Tijuana and Colombia again. Thats it. Will I miss the 15 hour flights? Nope. I don't see the rate going back to what it used to be for a long time. With the way Obama spends money the dollar should be toast anytime now. Thanks Obama!
I take it my much loved Villa Mimosa is still surviving and thriving?
I've not bothered going this year yet, based on my experience there last year and being rather busy. The private apartments in Centro are offering better value mostly, and much as I am fond of VM of old the price haggling is silly when you can get a decent session in town for less.
My point about Saens Pena, for those who like budget Rio, is that it is convenient for many places. You could add Tijuca and Maracana to the list, and the Sambadrome, and Sao Cristovao, and even the North Centro places. There's a big difference between a couple of stops on the Metro to your favourite parlours and the hot crush journey from Copa or Ipa. S. Pena is also a nice area to stay in and very untouristy. North Centro can be ok, and shops and food are cheap, but it doesn't have the relaxed middle class vibe of SPena.
What you don't have is the fun and the beach that comes free of charge (unlike most things) in Copa. The same goes for Sao Paulo, which has been discussed in both threads recently: SP is good value for GDP and has much to offer culturally, but I wouldn't call it 'fun' the way Rio can be. Its too big, and it can be a hassle to get things done.
Most of the main posters here in recent years have been terma fans. The cheap-and-cheerful crew don't seem relevant (one reason why I don't post much). But with increasing prices, I think we'll see sharper division. The very wealthy won't care, and the very streetwise won't care too much. It's the guys in the middle who will be seriously choosing which end of the market is their bag. Or, look elsewhere (which is fine by me). Good luck and enjoy, whatever you do!

I agree with all you said, Chris.
Privês are better value than VM.
I also likes the Saens Pena area. Very pleasant indeed. I just miss the beach.
I don't care if the privês raise their prices R$10, it's still good value.
I can understand that the terma-lovers are complaining. I hope they rather choose a other monger destination than start going to the privês. I will not benefit of more gringos going to the privês, rather the contrary.

Golpe do filme pornô.
Two girls got fooled. They got in contact with a guy on the internet. He offered them to participate in a porno movie. The guy is a "rich Italiano". They were supposed to get R$30'000. When they met the guy showed the girls receipts that he had made deposits to their accounts (the envelopes were empty so no deposit were made). They made the movie in a motel in Penha. Afterwards they went to eat some snacks. They guy excused himself to ran an errand. He didn't return. The girls got f*cked, didn't get payed and also got robbed of their belongings.
Poor girls. Not very smart though.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkQxHlr2fXM
The exchange rate is more favorable now then when I first went to Rio in 2000. Back then it was around 1. 7 Real to USD. However, taking a chick out of Help was 70 or 80 Real. A visit to a first-class terma (other than Centaurus) was just a bit more.
Those that started going to Rio in 2002-2004 are under the (false) impression that the rates in effect then were normal. They weren't.
There is much more to the skyrocketing costs of mongering in Rio than the exchange rate.

It was cheaper in 2001. In 1991 it was even much more cheaper. In 2001 many people were complaining that it was more expensive than it used to be.
The inflation in 1991 made it a hard time as you had never changed more than a small amount every time. Cruzados novos, cruzeiros, cruzeiros novos and then the real in 1994. At one time, 1995 (?), the real was stronger (1.05) than the USD. I remember I payed a Help-girl R$35 for a TLN, and it felt really expensive.
It's just a matter of adapting. In Manaus I can still eat a decent comida-a-kilo meal for less than R$5. In Rio the same meal will cost at least 4 times more. Having a cheap lunch in centro of Rio is no problem. Many of the chinese-owned lanchonettes serves very large plates of yakisoba for R$10. A session with a GP in a nice place paing R$60 is fine with me. :D
