Fiji Mongers COVID health advisory for Sept '21
The following health advisory for Fiji mongers is what Dr Fong would certainly be saying officially if (1) he was allowed to provide health advice based solely upon the medical science, and (2) if government were to also make policies for the health and well-being of workers in illegal sectors of the Fiji economy, in addition to legal sectors.
(1) 60% of eligible adults are now vaccinated, but 60% of the eligible population is not 60% of the total population.
(2) Even those of us who are fully vaccinated can still get COVID, though our chances of getting it is less.
(3) While vaccinated people will only get mild to moderate illness, there is still a roughly 5% chance that we can get severe illness.
(4) If we do get COVID, we can pass it on to unvaccinated people, including our children.
The science tells us (and I'm sure Dr Fong would be saying this if he felt he could speak freely and frankly), we must all continue to be cautious.
For our general lifestyle, we must continue with vaccination until more than 80% of the TOTAL population is vaccinated. That's 300,000 more than the current target.
As individuals we must continue with frequent washing hands, physical distancing, and wearing a mask.
As mongers, we must recall our ABCs from the days when HIV / AIDS was the main thing to worry about.
A = Abstinence.
B = Be faithful to one sex partner.
C = Condom.
In the age of COVID, this must be updated to our ABHs:
A = Abstinence.
B = Be faithful to only one carefully-chosen side chick.
H = Hazmat suit, with a cock-sized hole in the crutch.
Take care folks, until we get past that 80% for herd immunity! That means 800,000 Fijians fully vaccinated!
Laters.
Wise words from our resident GP. A timely reference to the HIV-scare days too. According to this week's news, new HIV infection rates for the past year are the highest they've been since the late 1980's, quite likely due to the injection of ice that is rife among the street walkers of Rewa Street.
So yes, cover up and don't make exceptions however horny you get.
For me, I'll be maintaining abstinence for at least the next few months. When it finally seems safe to unleash then I'll be on a spree. Will just book a three hour back-to-back massage session and have them send in one girl after the other to make up for lost time.
Things opening at Suva MPs
In what general and approximate geographical location is the "discreet MP" that's now providing a port in the storm?
GPat.
Answered my own question by going out for a scenic drive. Can confirm that the doors are open again (so presumably also the thighs therein) at both brothels, Oops! I mean, MPs ... at Sport City, plus the one at Garden City.
I didn't go inside, though.
