JD,
I once read that over 50% of American college students who were randomly sampled in one study thought that Austria and Australia were the same country. Man, that's scary stuff.

Yeah, well, try living in Buenos Aires, Argentina and listening to your allegedly college educated American women friends saying shit like, "I could never live in the tropics"; "Don't you get tired of all the spicy food?"; "Aren't you worried about earthquakes?" and similar ignorant bullshit. It is like everything south of the Rio Grande all the way to Tierra del Fuego is one big Mexico. My American men friends never ask these stupid questions. They just say, "Dude. Argentina? Whatever. Want another beer?"
But when I went to Australia, the immigration agent asked me if I had any criminal record and I said, "I didn't know I still needed one." He was not amused and I got taken to a special place where I received special treatment. So probably don't do that. I thought it was funny at the time and now, 8 years later, I still think it was funny.
But I know it is not the same country as Austria because when I went to Austria I froze my ass off whereas in Australia I baked my brain.
With all the controversy surrounding the Hogan family in regards to Nick Hogan's current slammer status, his mom, recently filed for divorce, & is now dating a 19 year old guy.
Like many AW, even as they age, they still want to act like they are teenagers! What do you guys think ? Are AW's attention sluts?
Gene Simmons, Israel born, former immigrant (Has been a citizen most of his life). He's a multi-millionaire recording artist & entrepreneur. He's been with Canadian born model Shannon Tweed for over 20 years, they have 2 kidz, 1 of whom is grown, the other soon to follow. The punchline: He has yet to marry Shannon's ass, and he doesn't believe in marriage! Heck, once his other kid is grown & moves out the house, Shannon can leave also: No child support or "Vagina-Money"! Rock on Gene!
Man you should write a book.
I plan on doing that in the future once I take up permanent residence outside of the US.

Don't we men in this forum discuss ways to get the attention of 18, 19, 20 yo hotties in various places in the world?
I think most of us try to be more discreet than Mrs. Hogan.
Guys. Check this out. An american women that married five times. Killing all five husband. The sheriff finally investigate this biatch after thinking that she maybe the cause of death for all five husband.
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (AP) -- Police may have ignored a warning years ago that a woman with five dead spouses was trying to hire a hit man to kill one of the men, investigators in North Carolina said Monday.
Betty Johnson Neumar is shown at her booking. She is charged with hiring a hit man to kill her husband.
Authorities charged 76-year-old Betty Neumar last month with one count of solicitation of murder in the July 1986 death of Harold Gentry. Gentry's brother had begged investigators for two decades to take another look at the case.
Stanly County sheriff's investigators believe Neumar tried to hire several people to kill Gentry. Lead detective Scott Williams said Monday his office is looking into the possibility that one of those would-be hit men went to authorities before Gentry's death, but no one took him seriously.
"That's another aspect we're looking into," Williams said, declining to elaborate.
Former Stanly County sheriff Ralph McSwain, who was in office when Gentry was killed, is recovering from a stroke and said he doesn't remember much about the case. He said the sheriff's detective who handled the investigation of the case is dead.
"This was a long time ago," McSwain said. "Could someone have come forward with information before it happened? Sure. I just don't know."
Neumar has been married five times since the 1950s, but each union ended with the death of her husband. Investigators want authorities elsewhere to look into the deaths. Williams said investigators have uncovered a common link among the victims: They all had military experience.
Neumar is being held on $500,000 bond in the Stanly County jail. A clerk in the county clerk of courts office said Monday that Neumar does not yet have an attorney. Her daughter with Harold Gentry, who also lives in Augusta, has declined to comment.
Williams said that detectives believe Harold Gentry was Neumar's fourth husband. She and her third husband, Richard "Dick" Sills, were living in the Florida Keys when he was shot to death in 1965, Williams said. At the time, police said his death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. But Williams said Neumar was the only person in the room when he died.
After his death, Neumar met Gentry in Florida. The couple married in the late 1960s in Georgia after he retired from the Army and moved to the town of Norwood, about an hour east of Charlotte.
Gentry was found shot to death inside the couple's home on July 14, 1986. Three years later, she married her fifth husband, John Neumar. He died in October, and authorities in Augusta, Ga., are investigating whether his death -- officially listed as sepsis, bacterial infection of the body's blood and tissues -- might have another cause, such as arsenic poisoning.
Williams said Neumar would wedge herself between family members and her victims to isolate them. She was cold to Gentry's brothers, who spent two decades trying to get the sheriff's department to reopen the case, they said. He was so isolated that his sons say they didn't know he had died until they read his obituary in the newspaper.
"It's heartbreaking," Williams said. "These people were very close and she moved in and stopped him from seeing them. It was really a hard story to hear."
Williams said he's still working to uncover as much as he can about Neumar's first two husbands, both of whom he said were from Ohio. One died in 1952, the other in 1955. He's also trying to piece together her life between her second husband's death and when she married Sills.
"Keep in mind that it appears that after each husband, she moved on. So she could just tell any story she wanted to tell," Williams said. "That's just what happened. She would come up with some pretty wild stories that she told about herself or what happened to her husbands."
Sure many of the older mongers like the tenderloin. However, the issue is when a man does it he is called a dirty old man, pervert and other unflattering names but when a woman does it she is called an urban cougar. It's cool, its hip. She's getting her groove back. People hand her jumbo bottles of KY-Jelly and yell, "You go girl!"
I am probably an older monger, but not too into tenderloin. But, that is another reason I left the US. Dating younger women is much more common and acceptable in other countries. I can date someone say 20 years younger (which still ain't too young ha ha) and no one bats an eyelash. Totally normal. In the US only celebrities can do this.
OK, I can live with this but we also export vile stuff like alimony, feminism, political correctness and all kinds of other cultural misery and buzz words. This invariably leads to conflcit and confrontation when these issues filter over to other countries and cultures. Hey, maybe in the next several decades the rest of the world will be as miserable as we American men!
Ok dont joke around with this sort of thing. The rest of the world is all we have left to get away from all the AW nonsense. I consider Americanism to be an infectious disease that is spreading to the entire world. It needs to be contained in these borders (or in this hemisphere at least). I will gladly trade hot dogs and football games to not have to deal with alimony or feminism.
I used to watch Star Trek and this reminds me of a memorable quote from the character Michael Eddington regarding the Federation (America, metaphorically):
"You know, in some ways you're worse than the Borg. At least they tell you about their plans for assimilation. You're more insidious... you assimilate people and they don't even know it."
Cohabitation Not a Requirement for Palimony Claim, Says N.J. Supreme Court
Michael Booth - New Jersey Law Journal
Cohabitation is not an absolute requirement for a successful claim for palimony but is only one of a number of factors a judge should consider, the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled on Tuesday.

on father's day last sunday, barack obama gave a speech highlighting the lack of fathers in many families, especially black families. men are not behaving responsibly. we are behaving like boys.
today, a nytimes editorial continues on that theme but adds some data on us children born out of wedlock. the rate of single-mother births for blacks started to rise dramatically in 1965 after the passages of the anti-poverty programs. pregnant girls no longer needed to marry the father to have enough money to care for the baby. public assistance now did that. in 1960 the proportion of all births to black single mothers was under 10%. it reached 50% around 1978. according to this article, in 2006, 80% of all births to black women were to single mothers under 30 years old.
in 1960, births to single mothers in the us was at a rate of 6%. the article said the year 2006 was a milestone because in that year 50.4% of all birth in the us were to single mothers under 30 years old. for the first time in us history, a majority of births are out-of-wedlock!
the breakdown by race/ethnicity was: blacks (non-hispanic) 80%, whites (non-hispanic) 33%, and hispanics 51%.
the article quotes academic studies that show that lower incomes for young men is the main factor in the rise in single mother births. it said nothing of the simultaneous rise in young women's incomes over the past 25 years. it said nothing of whether women are voluntarily having children without husbands. for example, there was that pact made by teenage girls in massachussetts to get pregnant and raise their children together. none talked of marriage to the fathers!
men are less able to support families due to their falling incomes. women are more able to support families due to their rising incomes. ergo, more women are choosing to have families without the father. but according to society, all this is men's fault!
obama and the article writer did acknowledge that the us government needs to provide more incentives for marriage. as i see it, right now with the new california law, only gay american men have an incentive to marry in the us.
As I see it, right now with the new California law, only gay American men have an incentive to marry in the US.
What the hell was I thinking? I guess I was in the 20th percentile.
I actually married two Black women! Both disasters. It took until age forty to realize marriage in America does not work. I feel differently about that in reference to the rest of the world.
It would be nice to find an attactive woman that is aware of other things in life besides shoes, clothes and jewelry. And knows to avoid having to eat dog food in your golden years, you must save wisely and not sneak home everything in Macys.
It's one or the other guys, big tits or big brains. You can't get both!
NGZ -
You thought correctly!
Marriage makes sense, even in America, just don't marry an American woman...
Single Mothers are solely a product of your very poor sex education system, bottom line.
It has nothing to do with Welfare or Welfare Reform, people will abuse a system, its human nature. The problem is the Neo-Conservatives are always concerned with that small percentage of the population that will take advance of your "generosity" and not the majority that won't. The media likes to sensationalize anything that puts people of color in a negative light.
But the fact of the matter is, those young white girls having babies are not coming from poor backgrounds generally. In some cases they are, I know a few but their parents didn't put them out on the street. I'm not saying that happens in Brown or Black households either, but statistics don't lie, people of color make less money, have less money saved and no health care or at least not enough health care, so young woman are turning to local and state governments for help.
Look down the income scale and you'll see the poorer you are, the more likely you'll have single parents with children, DUH.
That's poor sex education and the Religious Reich at every turn trying to stop those of us that are progressive from teaching young people about sex, about birth control and how you properly use condoms - Period!
Even in other countries this isn't a problem, at least not one you hear publicly. There's no resentment among "tax payers" about paying to make sure we have don't have higher infant morality, which is already HIGHER than any other industrial country.
When people complain about taxes, I say go live in Denmark
When people complain about social welfare, I say go live in Saudi Arabia
When people not in the military scream for blood, I say go live in the middle east.
