They want a boy, not a man...
I have to agree with that statement, since having a brain of your own (Unless you have millions, are named Mr. Pitt, Mr. D. Washington, Mr. Gates, etc.). Their demands are starting to deteriorate some old institutions (Such as marriage, boyfriend/girlfriend, or just plain friends). This is why I refer to all females I know as colleagues or acquaintances. One must keep relationships with AW professional and distant if one wishes to keep their bearings. There is absolutely nothing to gain by having any kind of intimate relationship with an AW anymore. Before, just about 15 years ago, there was the HOPE of developing intimate relations with someone special. Now, everytime a good looking female prospect wishes to approach a male, if she is interested, they tend to give you a cold shoulder until they find out perhaps your salary scale. I don't have millions, but I do OK, so this puts me always on the playing field; however, you can see the hypocrisy in the before and after of them, the good ol' AW, acquiring this knowledge. It happens all the time I go out. Before, AW are always cold, distant and not willing to give me the time a day once we meet. Once I leave the table and return, my jokes are now REALLY funny, and I'm getting a lot of pokes and hand grabbing, and hair flipping, and, well, you've seen AW's in full flirt mode. I have seen this a lot. Always, after they find out how much I make from my wingmen or acquaintances, the behavior changes radically, as if to say he wasn't worthed before, but NOW, he is a catch. It is never what they can bring into a possible relationship, but what they can GET from YOU!!! So, I go on my trips, get what I want, when I want, completely free of restrictions. The best part is to look these b*tches in the eye, know what they want and be unresponsive. I don't care how hard they try, it just ain't happening. As I tell people I trust, I just have way too much to lose to get involved in the ultimate no-win scenario. They have one thing I want, but they want everything I have. Not a good deal. On the other hand, If she makes more money than me, and the criteria is right, then that would be worth working for. But for now, since AW continue to use their look as bait, I am not taking a bite until I find an equal. It would be a cold day in hell when that happens...
It seems that your AW friend has some control issues. She apparently likes to play prison warden. From what you've written, she likes men who are dependent and unable to control what happens in their lives. This is not unusual among American women. Really, there is nothing that you can do or say that will make her change her mind. In fact, your opposition will only make her that much more eager and determined to proceed with her endeavor.
