Think the writing is on the wall.
I got better service from Cynthia then I did in 2011, but not exactly "miles ahead". These girls got accustomed to making a certain amount of money with minimal effort. It's like any line of work, eventually they will either quit or desperately move to another club where the economics are only slightly better.
I omitted this from my May 2nd report, but my American buddy from Los Angeles mentioned that their were two busloads of Japanese tourists the previous day. To me that is the death knell. I don't think it's a coincidence that the better service clubs like World and Sharks have less reliance on Asian clientele. The Asian customers we see at World or Sharks are probably seasoned sex tourists. They have strong command of English and actively booked and rented the car themselves. On the other hand, the Asian customers that go by tour bus, probably rely on their guide for English / German navigation. Sharkish girls prey on this second group of Asian men because they will generally avoid conflict-whether it is upselling in the room or tacking on bogus charges at the money locker.
Only time will tell if Mauro's new business model is sustainable. Palace can get away with it because of their central location. Foreign business men may only be able to sneak away for a few hours in the evening so Palace is the best option for them. Especially if they are loaded and price is less of a concern.
The clubs that are populated with regulars always have the highest service standards. These guys are usually more demanding on the girls and expect better service quality simply because they are regulars. To a certain degree, they may be de-sensitivized and aren't easily pleased. They are also less likely to "splurge" whereas a tourist who comes to an FKK 1-2 days a year will drop a thousand euros without blinking.
