Public transportation and walking to Oase
Is it necessary to go by Taxi to Oase? I was checking where it is on Google earth and I found out that the distance between it and S-bahn station is 4 km. This's 45 minutes walking. For me I would better walk than pay for an expensive German Taxi. It maybe little bit exhausting but once you arrive at the club you have all the time to shower, rest, eat and drink. Then you will be fully recharged and ready for action. Just what I don't really know, Is it safe to walk in this area? On the map it looks like rural area with no buildings around.
The S-Bahn station at Seulburg (one stop before Friedrichsdorf) is a closer walk, but you walk over the freeway (5 / E51) on the way (I understand that the bridge is closed for now) and need to find the bridge to cross the small creek near Oase. I used a GPS until I learned the route. I take a small pocket flashlight for the return walk.
An even closer walk is to take the train at Friedrichsdorf to Burgholzhausen v. Der Hohe (one stop with no additional cost) and walk to Oase. About halfway you can avoid walking on the main road by taking the farmer's road on the right and end up behind Oase. Look at Google map.
My experience is that it's safe to walk in this area since you are in a small-town area.

They accept cash in mail envelopes.
Pack cash well into multiple papers, use some carbon paper so it can not be found easily by snooping mail men or women
