"The ability to accessorize. That's what separates us from the animals"
Last month, I asked 2 girls why they have started putting on these little frills. They said that it is to help their past customers spot them when it is crowded and dimly lit; and that if they had that customer only once before, he would remember the frills better than the face. Anyway, I will be there next week and ask a few more why the trend.
I agree. The scarfs, the little ties, the bow in the hair, distinct stockings. All of these markers help me find my favorite girls in a crowd, especially all the way across a dimly-lit lounge. There's been plenty of times I've missed a favorite of mine because she sort of blended in with the other girls on the couch.
Part of the problem is trying to check out the girls without being too obvious that you are scrutinizing them. If they think you are looking at them, they will often think you are interested in them and hence pounce on you. So, I try to look at them without directly looking at them. This plus the dim lighting can often make it difficult to spot one of my girls. A distinct accessory however makes all the difference.
