Advice on spending all night
During ISH messe week, I am thinking of avoiding high hotel fees and spend the Thursday night at Oase till 5AM and go to airport for my flight. Realize this is dessous day and would be very crowded at night due to messe. During late hours my plan would be to relax, maybe catch some sleep among other things. My concern is that Oase lacks in food and places to relax (alteast what I thought during my NOv trip). Don't know if renovations has made much difference yet. Also, not sure if they carry any snacks late into night and if dinner is served in enough quantities to feed the crowd.
Palace or Mainhattan better for food / relax places, it seems, although they close at 4PM. Would appreciate advice if spending the night Oase is a workable plan for messe night or would I be better off at Palace or mainhattan to mix some punting with rest prior to heading out.

you should inquire about late check-out at your hotel (like at 2 or 3 pm or even 4 pm). many hotels do this for you for free and some just charge you a small fee (like 20 euros). get some extra shut-eye and then arrive at the club around 5 pm. there's usually a much bigger line-up in the evening than in the early afternoon anyways.
you can always sleep on the plane later on your flight home. i usually can't sleep on planes, but trust me, if you stay up all night at oase and then hop on a plane, you won't be able to help nodding off at least a bit here and there, which is nice. you should have some sweet dreams then at least.
as for food, i seem to remember that from about midnight or 1 am until closing time, you're pretty much on your own for food. i know you can order out, but i don't know how many places (besides mcdonald's) are open that late. you just have to make sure you hit the last serving of food before it runs out. then, you want to have some snacks in your locker to help you survive from closing time until airport time (like granola bars or something that keeps well like that).
