I stayed at the Jun DeHui Hotelalso knowas Richmond Club, 86-756-8155558
If you call the hotel directly you will get a rate of 480 RMB per night. Go through a travel agent at the border, bus station or train station. Rate should be no more than RMB 350 per night. they also tells you that the rate is for doble room, room with 2 twin bed. Talk to the receptionist andshewillgive you room with one king.

From Guangzhou to Zhuhai is about 2 hour by bus. There are big, nice, new, and clean bus go between the 2 cities for 55RMB each oneway. They all leaves from the Gongbei area in Zhuhai.
To dannymex:
From Zhuhai, there is hydrojet to go to Kowlong, but the frequency is too far apart. I perfer to go through Macau. HydroJet are on every 15 to 30 minutes(24 hours a day) so you don't have to wait to long but rememberthe border between China and Macao is only openfrom 7:30 AM till midnight.
Best way to go between Zhui Hai and Guangzhou is bus. Travel times 2 hours.
Zhuhai has an airport anddoeshas flight to Beijing and Shanghai.
if you can't get on, you can alway catch a bus to Shengzen (1 1/2 hours away) Airfare is cheaper from Shengzen toBeijing and Shanghai, you will save about 800-900 RMB roundtrip.
A nice 2 bedroom apartment is about 3000-4500 RMB per month furnished.
Bubugao Hotel. It's in the center of the action about 220 RMB per night. But rooms is like a HoJo or Days INN.not my style. Stay at Ying Du, there are always working girl on the lobby coffee shop.

Sweetkisser,
Your reply is extremely helpful. Three more questions I hope you can answer:
1. What is the estimated travel time from an apartment in central Zhu Hai to downtown Hong Kong via Macao?
2. Same question, but direct from Zhu Hai assuming I catch the infrequent boat service in Zhu Hai?
3. Any idea how to go about finding an apartment in Zhu Hai. The high end of your budget range would be fine.
Thanks so much.
To Dannymex:
travel time from downtown Zhu Hai to Hong Kong is as follow:
Down Town Zhu Hai to Gong Bei border -----------3 minutes
Crossing China and Macao Immigation ------------10-15 minutes
China-Macao border to Hydrojet Ferry terminal----5 minutes
Wait time at Ferry Terminal --------------------------5-25minutes
Hydrojet ride to Hong Kong---------------------------63 minutes
ZhuHai to Hong Kong-------- 1 hour and 10 minutes
Regarding finding an apartment in Zhu Hai, you can find an real estate agent to find it for you. They get pay by the landlord so it doesn't cost you anything. DO not pay them, if they ask you for money, they are not trustworthy.

Last night around 8:30 PM. Saw bunch of street prostitutes getting busted. At least 20 girls were being put in the police bus. Be careful out there.
Do you mean Korea or Whuhai ...? Are you sure this is where you wanted to post this ? PLeasse clarify.
I'm sure he meant Zhuhai. Isn't my Nov3rd post in the China General info section prophetic? Too much talk kills the scene.
Just spent couple days in Zhu Hai. Had great fun. I was born in U.S. but speak some Cantonese/Mandarin so could get around. Met some cuties that kept sending their friends to my room day and night.
tonyacs:
Got contact numbers for the girls? Never tried Zhuhai.
Thanks.
Papadum: The number they gave me didn't work. But just go outside into the market areas and outside the hotel and they're everywhere. One cutie followed me to my hotel; chasing all the other cuties away.
Wow, photo album....? my goodness, soooo marketing oriented! There's nothin like that in the North. I like that. Thanks ZHguy
Heard so much about Bu Bu Gao so checked out the cafe on 2nd flr. To my disappointmtnet, the whole place was empty at 2 pm and 4 pm. Street action also nothing much.
Where have they gone to?
That's because big mouth newbies like zhuhai guy & sweetkisser have brought the attention of authorities to clean it up.
I was there 4 months ago(before there was any talk on this board) and stayed at Bu Bu Gao and the place was packed with young good looking cuties, sitting at the couch, standing at the driveway and lobby, inside the cafe/karaoke etc. It was very cool, and super convenient.
The streets were also alive with cuties. I cannot step out of my hotel and not get laid. But I knew better to keep my mouth shut or it will go the way of Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai.
But inexperienced idiots like sweetkisser and zhuhai guy didn't know the Chinese government monitors this site. Just can't contain themselves. Keep trying to prove their usefulness on this site while doing evreyone a disservice.
Let's not forget this is still a communist country.
It's never a secret that there are working girls in BuBuGao or on the street in Gongbei area. Once a while, especially when there are too many girls, the police takes action.
On the Lotus Road, almost every man (unless he is old/poor, or he's got a girl,) was approached. That's bad for the local resident. I support the police to 'clean' the street regularly.
There's always FUN in sauna/OK, or perhaps Disco.
It's no secret to locals but when info gets to Beijing then there's pressure to clean up the city. By that time even if the local authorities want you to have fun you've made their jobs more difficult.
