After a recent visit, one hour in the suite is R$495.
It has a shower, jacuzzi tub, sitting area, extra large bed with large mirrors.

@Industrial - No prives that I know of are open on Saturday.
Question here- if I take a taxi from my hotel to VM, what's the best street / place to the driver to take me to?
The street is Rua Sotero dos Reis, but you just tell the taxi driver that you want to go to Vila Mimosa.
@Industrial - No prives that I know of are open on Saturday.
I never monger in centro on Saturdays, but I know there are some privées open on Saturdays. Bel Prazer, Dudas Massagens, some of the R$1-2 / minute casas and propably a few more.
Some of the prives are only open to mid-afternoon on Saturdays. Bel Prazer until 3PM, and Duda until 2PM.
When I lived in Rio there were huge parties at Pao de Acucar (Sugar Loaf). You can buy tickets to a massive party held at the midpoint of Pao de Acucar. There is theatre up there. There will be 1, 000's of drunk girls up there looking to have fun, but also 1000's of drunk guys as well. I would guess about 2-3000 people at this party. It is a nice group of people, as it is not free, so very little Favela crowd.
I do not remember where you buy tickets, probably just at the base as normal. It is a really nice Carioca experience. I only went when Brasil played, so I do not think I would go during other games (most likely not even a party if Brasil not playing).
Or you could walk around the city and watch from TV's hanging from trees, just like many other Cariocas. Just look for a taxi traffic jam and that will be the place to watch if you want a small place in Copa.
Just one of many, many options for watching the games.
It will be wild for sure.
WOW that is a lot of money.
But I don't want to wake up. That's cruel. I love my little planet.
On a more serious note, I'm fine with double the price, but Ebay is more like quadrupling the price right now. And I'm looking for regular games, not the final.
Thanks for the tip!
Alright, carry on! .
I was in Brazil for the Confederation Cup June July 2013, and it was a zoo. I got caught in the riots in Rio centro, and it was teargas and rubber bullets if you were not a police officer. Then I was in Salvador for the final game the following week and we could not get to the stadium because of the protests. I recommend you keep yourself some where with a nice tv, food, and drinks unless you're a protester or police officer in Brazil.

It will be wild for sure.
I agree with another who posted about potetial for protests. Make sure sure you know the layout of the land, alternate routes, and times for different situations depending which part of the city you visit during the World Cup. I was also in Rio last year during the Soccer Tour. And protests. Without a doubt, many people in the underground sort of speak, have been planning for many months when and how they will protest (which I totally understand, as long as its peaceful). At best, there will be major delays, problems with transportation. Worse case, rioting, rubber bullets, etc. My sugesstion, if you are in Rio during the World Cup, play it by ear, and monitor closely where and when the protests take place. Even so, if you are far from the chaos, transportation can be shut down, and you might get stuck in the middle of nowwhere. Again, monitor the situation closely, and safety first.

I don't think so. In Rio they have declared feriado/holiday every day there is a World Cup game at Maracana. Termas don't open on feriados.
