Doctor Skank, well spoken!
This report made a lot of sense, very clever, well written!
Stupid thinking of working girls
Guys,
Take over and stop paying INFLATED "wages" (tongue in cheek)!
A week or 2 of no 'fawking' $$ and they will re-evaluate. And I agree, go for the young, new, fresh 'blood'. Ummm. I mean Pussy!
LS 'Ukraine Master' Guy
Well, the thinking of working girls all over the world seems to be the same to me. If there are half as many clients, they all try to double their prices in order to get the same income. It's stupid, but it's the way they think ...

"I knew the bride when she used to Rock 'n Roll"
The Golden Question: when will the crisis start saving us money with pros and when will the crisis start making us more attractive to non-pros?
Will dev ability to speak English again be seen as a sign of intelligence and cosmopolitan flair and not merely a kowtowing surrender to the lesser-cultured tongue of the miserly, humourless enemy?
Will leaving Russia via marriage again be en vogue?
...
Most interesting for many is the freebie scene, how will the crisis affect us there?
...
In a real sense it could put foreigners back on the map again...
I think the freebie and amatuer market is where the real opportunities will be.
Amatuers because they will not have the same price expectations as pros and are probably driven largely by economic need, so they will be very price-sensitive.
But the more interesting market is the freebie, and in particular the budding brides. Many girls have been enjoying the party for years now, but the party is over. Girls will realize this and will adapt their strategies. They have always done this, and not just Russians, but lots of American girls are no different - partied at university, but settled down with a "Steady Eddy" type when they turned 30 and wanted a family. Seen it dozens of times. But Russian girls are even more bi-polar (combination of passion and practicality) than their American counterparts, so the shift should be more dramatic.
So Russian girls will now be thinking beyond their partying years and looking for long-term stability. They partied through their 20s and now it is time to move on. They can see that resurgent Russia is not what it promised to be and their eyes and ambitions will look to the West (which is not what it promised to be either, but they won't know that).
So that creates an opportunity for Western guys, but not necessarily for easy night-club pick-ups. But for more serious (or strategic) dating. We may have to go back to the "interviewing" girls for LTR strategy, whether sincere or not. It especially creates an opportunity for semi-serious bride-hunters like DJ4$.
Whether you should contemplate a long-term relationship with a girl fresh out of the fast-living night club scene is another matter...
Simply a prediction, nothing more
the golden question: when will the crisis start saving us money with pros and when will the crisis start making us more attractive to non-pros?
more research required.
following is a post that i made in october in the ukraine thread - so long ago in the warp speed of the current economic climate. i believe that it applied to mother russia as well and is panning out as we speak.
as an answer to the doctor's plea above: "when will the crisis start saving us money with pros and when will the crisis start making us more attractive to non-pros?"
as a stab - late february and early march. why?
as we observe, things are imploding rapidly and picking up momentum on the economy, currency and social fronts.
we may calculate a december with tough times and rents coming due while salaries are cut and lay-offs rise. new year and orthodox christmas will drain much of the dyevs dwindling cash as one must party, gifts for the extended family, and travel to the home village for many, correct?
that brings up as well january rents followed by the february rent when the purse will be tapped out in a big way. we then move through february and the dreaded march rent and the overdue bills mounting up. sauve isg mongers with greenbills now look like a chance (only?) to have a dinner once again with the well understood desert to follow.
therefore late february and early march to be the optimum time and maxium pain for the girls who have had and still want a whole lotta more.
a few caveats. all hell could break lose in the same time frame as we see in the far east over increased duties on used cars. mr. putin could be close to 'losing it' with trouble at the mill.
and then there is the situation when the mongers confronted with capitulating dyevs may themselves not be able to get it up, as it were themselves, moneywise.
an then, all of the above could be wrong - it is after all just a prediction as stated on the tin.
somehow, i think much of the doctor's dreamed for reversion to fairyland will rapidly come to pass, even the tochka, which let's face it started much of the whole sausage for many. it is and is going to get brutal.
if we have game and cash - even bez's camera lens may lose its fog and enter the bright, old world of the ruble worth 40% or more from the peak and the 2009 edition of the foreign monger again lights up the eyes of ludmilla, nato et al since the local byzyness men are now tapped out.
us $150 overnight for the pick of the crop? not too far away, i think and hope.
happy days return, cruiser d october 27
start thinking ruble crash of 1998 and move back in time from there cd. reasonably safe to predict that we will see ukr. and ee getting back to those times from this xmas on. it is going to be a great monger spring in ee once again. just be sure to keep your powder dry and enjoy. bez b will think he died (again) and is in 3-hole heaven once more. it is gonna be brutal for the young players but the old hands will thrive.
prepare to hang in and enjoy. oh yes - no longer will the good ladies be turning up their noses at the puny us $ - until it crashes again, imo, along with super high interest rates in 12-18 months. i can hardly wait.

..... more research needed, indeed.
