Posting a Cuban girls name and address on a site like this is a really sh*tty thing to do, especially as a first post. Moreso because you were an idiot and paid her upfront for anything...
In Bayamo lives and works Eyianis Veranes Pérez (calle Emilio Garcés # 3, entre Martires y Milánes). At first hand she makes the impression of a very honest girl that wants a gf relationship, not a ‘jinetera’ at all. Anyway, she talked me into paying her in advance for some expenses she had to make. But from the moment she got the money the service went sour. So in the end she proved to be a hard ‘jinetera’.

DC what the fuck are you talking about, Cuba is a fucking paradise!
Well, is it a fucking paradise ? If it is, give us details to why you think it is so.
Cuba is too much hassle and hard work to be enjoyed fully. I have contacts there but most first time mongers to cuba do not and as such are going to be frustrated.

I love Cuba and have been there many times. As far as pussy is concerned, I think there are better destinations. Most Cuban women are unappreciative, cold and business orientated.
When vacationing in Cuba its nessecary to be watching for scammers and con artists 24 hours a day - never trust a Cuban.

If anyone has any actual on the ground info on how much they're charging people with US passports in Cuban airports please discuss details.
I've read there is a new tax on tourists. Cuba is going to force you to buy medical insurance at the airport as of May 1 2010. Long lines, bureaucracy and other horseshit. I think if everyone boycotts Cuba for two months, this policy/tax will be gone quickly. It is just a way of raising revenue in an already expensive country.
Some of you know me. I am an expert on this country. I've spent 18 months there over the past 9 years. I was already thinking to never return there again. I am American. Flights are long, expensive and arduous. Between the bullshit with cops and women and high prices, it's not worth it.
Other than girls there is nothing to do in Cuba. There are no restaurants worth a damn. Food generally sucks. It is a boring country. It is not particularly beautiful. No good scuba or water skiing, etc. The museums suck. I don't drink or smoke. So all that is left are the girls.
The girls are expensive and have a bad attitude. I still get them cheap, because I can talk like a local street pimp. But it is an effort/work.
Not like the golden time during 1997-1999. This is due to the economic crisis at the fall of the Soviet Union. I missed this golden era. I hear a dozen beautiful girls would wait in front of your door dressed to perfection. Some were there with there parents. They'd come in one after the other.
I first went to Cuba at the end of 2000. It was still very good, but the pressure on the girls from the police had ruined the party. I spent nearly 6 months there in 2003. I had a good time but it was a hassle. Since 2005 or so it really has kind of sucked.
But the girls have changed. They are far more cynical and expensive. I get them cheap still cause I've spent 18 months in Cuba and talk to the girls like a local street pimp. But it is work. It is a hassle to hustle. A hassle to work for these girls. They are more empowered and manipulative.
One can still have a good time with girls, especially an experienced monger such as myself. I can talk to the girls like I'm Cuban. With effort, I can get girls very cheap because I know where to look and how to manipulate like I'm a local Cuban pimp (sort of.) But the attitude on the street has changed.
And if I didn't speak dialect local street pimp, it'd be quite expensive. The Cuban government rips you off on EVERYTHING.
I was already fed up. Now that Cuba will charge me another $7 per day for insurance, I think I'll call it quits. Enough.
I'll be there next weekend if anyone else is, drop me a PM.
-
Americans are charged the same amount as tourists from other countries.
The insurance policy is appx $8 per day but that doesnt go into effect for a few weeks. There are also the departure fees of appx $25. A taxi from Jose Marti airport into downtown Havana/Vedado will run you about $20
****** Depending on what gateway country you fly thru you will have additional fees to pay.If your caught traveling to Cuba without permission the fine can be as high as 7500 so ask Cuban customs agent not to stamp your passport upon arrival.

Well, I was being a bit sarcastic, but I do love the Cuban bollo. It is the best, it is my own personal paradise. Sorry. And I know where it is hidden on la isla and how to find it. And I certainly do not venture to the clubs and discos or sea wall for this.

Cuba IS expensive for tourists: 6 dollars per hour to use the internet and only in some hotels; in drugstores for tourists (not the ones for Cubans) there is NO see vitamins, no viagras to buy even if you can spend the money.
If you are starting a conversation with a Cuban woman in public, ALL eyes will be directed to you.

I too still know how to hunt Cubanas. I'm up there with the best of them. Like Kalifornication I know where to look and what to do, to find the best cheaply and even some freebies. But I'm tired of the Bullshit. I'm thinking of going to Colombia, or DR or Central America. I might even go back to Cuba.
Are there Colombia Experts here or another latin country who could share their expertise? Or want my Expertise? If yes, please send a message and we'll talk.
PS. If anyone's curious, the type of girls I like, go look up my name in the photos section.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Durante,
I'm going to Cuba on June 15 too, but for 2 weeks (first week in Camaguey and second week in Holguin). If you decide to go to Camaguey I can meet you in a bar and we can grab some beers and pick-up Cubanas in the street if that's what you are into it like I do. Read your email later I will send you a message.

I have never been to Cuba. I read but still got questions to anyone who travelled to Cuba in the last year or so.
a) Will AI's and/or hotels allow day passes and/or double occupancies to different girls on different days?
b) If I see a girl will she arrange a place for ST with an ease?
c) How much is renting a house, not an apartment (some say 200 per day, some -35)?
d) I read on the board that there are governmental rentals (not privately owned) that are furnished and fully equipped. How to get one?
e) Which part of the country have you travelled to recently? Is there a "second best" to Havana?
f) Is there any shopping mall/ big department store in Havana geared for foreigners? Where do cubans shop?
