Every country has more or less privilege to the locals. It is a global thing, and is nothing special. Hardly more so either in USA, England, Sweden or China, Singapore, Japan, South Africa or Saudi Arabia. Actually across large parts of the wealthier Europe, immigrants have it easier in terms of getting stable state jobs, while also harder in terms of private sector jobs. Which makes sense due to networking etc. This cannot be said about Asian countries, or even African.
