Cheers Nibu!! You are absolutely right. I am sure some of Mexico's best sex destinations involve the south of the country, particularly Oaxaca and Chiapas, that urgently need reviewing! I tried my best in the old forum to review the great streetwalker scenes of Mexico City and Oaxaca, but the 2000-2002 archives seem to be gone, and there is no way to repost them. Lets get back on the streets!

will be traveling south of the border and need to sharpen my spanish language skills. at one time there was a brief english to spanish section on wsg to help us gringos get up to speed. any one know where i can find it. it had about a dozen words etc that helped break the ice and negotiate etc. i used a search on spanish translation topics but came up with nothing worthwhile.

i am too lazy to look for it, so I will just post one:
first of all there is a general list of phrases for any tourist in a spanish speaking country, with tips on pronunciation and things like numbers, and stuff like "I need a taxi" at this site:

(purposely not an active link - I wouldn't want the server logs showing this as the referring site -- no offense to Jackson :) )
okay here we go - sorry if they are out of logical order a bit.

im just wondering: (and a little bit schocked) is it really so that the age of consent in mexico is only 12 years?
i actually posted on this misinformation in the tijuana forum, and i would have linked to it in the archives, but it looks like they aren't working right now.
the technical legal age of consent is 16. however, the legal age of consent between two *minors* is 12. what that means is that a 15 year old cannot be charged with statutory [CodeWord123] for sleeping with a 12 - 16 year old.
i have this on good authority, from a attorney who was a former state prosecutor of guanajuato.
however, ironically, in contrast to the us, the authorities will not prosecute a statutory [CodeWord123] case unless a legal complaint (demanda) is filed.
for example, if you were over 16 and had a 14 year old girlfriend and had consentual sex with her, in your house for instance, as long as the parents never went to the ministerio publico (district attorney) there would never be a crime, even if the police caught you "en flagrante".
anyhow, i hope that clears it up.

...but is girls 12-16 really avayable in mexico??!
look. i have never personally seen girls younger than 16 working, though they say sometimes the street girls in mexico city can be younger. no doubt you could pick up **** girls in most of the major metro areas in the us as well, thanks to crack and whatnot. however, i doubt you will ever see a minor in a brothel or a strip club - the owners won't risk it, and there are too many legal girls who need the work.
however, the circumstances of family life will always make exceptions.
i can tell you that they estimate that 40% of the mexican population lives in what is classified as "extreme poverty" and i have seen some of these homes, even here in a relatively wealthy part of san miguel. it is heartbreaking. i had a maid working for me that earned about us $35 per week working 40 hours, and she lived in a home that only had tin for roofing, dirt on the floors and cardboard in the windows, and mud brick interior walls. she lived there with her husband, 2 children, a brother-in-law and a sister, another child and the mother-in-law.
how can you blame someone who lives like that for wanting to get away?
by the way, the minimum legal wage in the state where i live is about $25 per week. so i was already paying her a good wage.

Hello Gentelman: I apologize for my english but it is not my native language. Anyway, I am thinking off either visiting Mexico or Costa Rica and I was wondering whether someone could post the price comparisment for the ladies as well as other services such as accomodation and transportation. I would also grately appreciate info on safety, because I am blind and therefore more volnerable than the rest of the population. Thanks a lot and "happy experiences".

I am reposting this from my original post in the Forum Archives.
General tips for getting Mexican strippers to fuck you:
As with any strip club, anywhere in the world, be very careful about 'ladies drinks' and other hidden charges. The best thing in the clubs is to tell the girl you are interested in that you want to take her to a hotel, see if she is interested, and how much she'll charge.
Never fall for girls who want you to buy them drinks. Buy one or two, to be polite, take them into the "privada" table dance room and get a sample, but don't stay in the club with her. If she isn't interested in leaving, go talk to your second choice girl. Sometimes the competitive spirit kicks in, and the first girl comes back to renegotiate... If it is a busy night, and your having trouble finding a willing girl, tell your waiter that you want a girl that will leave with you. They know who they are.
Be careful about adulterated drinks. I have been in several bars where I *know* that they cut the liquor with 96 proof cane alcohol. If you want to get drunk, especially if you are with friends, find girls that are willing to drink with you and order a whole bottle. It can cost between US$50 - $75, but with a bottle you can keep track of how much you are spending.
Many of the shadier places try to get you drunk and inflate the bill. Try to pay cash for each round, because once they have your credit card, its going to be hard to get out without paying what they want you to pay. Also, sometimes you can convince the girl that instead of a drink, you'll just pay for her to sit with you. This has been well worth the US $5 or $10 many times to me. Also, if the girls offer you "2 for one", or a "sandwich", be sure to ask if they will do "lesbiana", or else you will just end up fucking one, then the other.
Finally, if you want the girl to leave early, you may have to pay a "salida" (exit) to the house. This can range between $100 and $800 pesos. Be aware that sometimes half of the salida goes back to the girl. I generally ask the waiter or doorman what the salida costs first. Also, some girls are unwilling to stay with you all night, because they will miss getting their "salary", if they don't go back to the club, when I found out this was only US $8, I just paid her an extra US $10 to miss it. Also, if you are going to be in town for a while, and you like your girl, tell her you want her to hang out with you. The sad fact that the majority of these girls are single mothers, with no child support from the fathers. There is a good percentage that are glad to be treated like a girlfriend instead of a prostitute, and will respond in kind. I know a cute 20 year-old girl I met in a strip club that I send an email to every time that I am going to be in Mexico City and she meets me at the Bus Station.
Finally, I have zero tolerance for hustlers. If you sense that the girl is trying to fleece you, even with ladies drinks, dump her. Its not worth the frustration. Don't be a sucker.

Some time ago, I read about a Website for Latin women called YUPI.com
I have posted my experiences in Spain under the Barcelona section, but I am repeating the info here as well. This site has been incredible for me. I met several women in Spain and 2 of them became my girlfriends. Totally. They gave me everything I could ask for and the experience was beyond my fantasies! I have returned and I can't believe what happened - it doesn't seem real. I am presently exchanging E-mails with several ladies in Mexico for my next trip. And I hope that . . .
If you seek the GFE and can write letters in Spanish, I can recommend this website without reservations. For me, a God send. Of course it IS a dating site. And along with the GFE comes GF problems. It is not for a quick score - although with one of the women that was possible. Generally, you need to write them and meet them and wine and dine them, before getting into their pants. But for me it was worth the effort. I wanted women who were late 30's to 40's and there were many. For younger guys, maybe the discos are better. But I could never have met these ladies without this approach. And they took care of me. Completely. A lot of work but try it! . . . -P

Diablo,
Good message man!
I would only add that speaking SOME Spanish will save you money. I had a true GFE for 60$US and my gringo friend spent $150$ for an worse experience. I had a bad experience in Russia for the simple reason that I didn't speak the language. If you can't learn spanish at least get a spanish speaking friend to negociate the deal and give the girl a tip WHEN YOU COME BACK if you had a good time!

Posted this on the NL forum but it needs to be posted here to:
I don't know how many of you guys are hunters or even own firearms, but I would like to caution you to never cross the border with a gun of any kind. As hard as they are trying to crack down on gun runners, you could land in jail for a looong time if you even accidently tried to take one across the border without the proper permits. Heck, if they even find one round of ammuntion in your car while you are crossing, you are toast. I kid you not! Check your ride good before you go over. Don't have any shotgun shells or rounds of ANY kind in it.

Prokofiev,
How was Spain? I am moving from CA to NY soon and want to take a trip. I couldn't find your report in the Spain section. I am looking on the new Yupi and there are some hotties, some notties, so I don't know what those women are really like! Is Spain better than Mexico for women?

As you probably know, YUPI.com was eaten-up by Match.com and no longer exists. But most of the profiles were just moved to the new site. As I stated, Spain was a fantasy for me and highly recommended. Of course the Euro is now almost $1.10 (from.95 when I was there) while the peso is over 10 to the $1. So Mexico is the better buy, but Spain is not expensive. While I like Madrid, Granada and Seville - to me Barcelona is tops. Beautiful city with a lot of culture, music, architecture, food and a VERY open sex scene. Read about Kiss-Me Bar or the SW's in the Barcelona section.
I spent 6 weeks in Spain, the last month in Barcelona in a rented, furnished apartment ($950/mo). I had 2 girlfriends, both from Yupi.com and I basically alternated nights with them. One was a sweet, intellectual woman, very hot in bed but not great looking. But she's my sweetheart. The other was a beauty- hot-blooded, well-dressed, dark hair and eyes, jealous, difficult ... I called her "Carmen" and she was my down-fall, but I couldn't pass on such a classic Spanish doll. We fought, argued and screwed - and it was exciting as hell. Neither spoke English, and Spanish was their 2nd language ... yet somehow it all worked out. Spain is more liberal than Mexico. Much so. The women stronger and less passive. More education, more money. The odds of getting laid on the first date is infinitely higher in Barcelona. Faster pace of life . . .
Of course your results may vary. I like things like classical music, art museums, architecture, fine restaurants and for this, Spain is better. There is more variety of things to do and types of women in Barcelona than Mexico. Arabs, Africans, Swedes, Spanish . . .
Here's some good advice: If you want to study more Spanish, try the Don Quijote school in Barcelona. Over 200 (!) Swedish girls study Spanish there. Most 18-24 and a few older. A real meat market. Too young for me, yet I had quite a few friends from the classes. Also the disco scene is very hot in Barcelona for the 18-30 yo crowd. But if you want to find the GFE, definitely use the web-site to meet girls and set-up dates in advance. It worked for me . . . Good luck - P

I just have to mention a couple of tips that have been very helpful to me as a first timer in Mexico. Prior to taking my first trip into Mexico, I started compiling information from all the posts I had read, condensing that information into summary form, and placing the information in the “memos” area of my Palm Pilot so I could refer to the information when I was in Mexico.
I had a unbelievable amount of information stored there, and I stuck the Palm Pilot in my pocket when I went across the border so I could refer to numerous notes I had made after reading months of information on the board. There is so much good information available on the board, that you simply can’t remember the details of all the excellent posts. With the Palm Pilot, I had all of that great information summarized and at my fingertips while mongering in Mexico. If I had any questions while in Mexico, I merely referred to the extensive archives I had stored in the Palm Pilot, and it was almost like having a direct link to the board right when I needed it.
I have all kinds of great information stored in various categories. So many posts related back to things like communicating in Spanish, club reviews, individual chicas and their reviews, pricing for chicas, drinks, cab fare, etc…, directions to different clubs, and a wealth of detailed other information. When I would read an interesting and helpful post on the board, I would merely condense the text down to the pertinent information I was interested in, highlight it, copy it, and transfer it to the memo page of the Palm Pilot. It was really easy. I secured this data by activating the password system on my Palm Pilot so in case the Palm Pilot was ever lost, it would be secure, and no unintended person could view the information. In fact, it is my understanding that, without the proper password, even Palm Pilot can not attempt to gain entry to secured data without destroying the data itself.
One of my biggest concerns about venturing into Mexico for the first time was my limited knowledge of the Spanish language. So, I had been contemplating the purchase of one of those electronic translators prior to visiting Mexico for the first time. However, the cost of one of the better translators was kind of expensive, so I didn’t get an opportunity to purchase one prior to my initial trip to Mexico. I just decided to store some common Spanish phrases and words in the Palm Pilot, and that served me well for my first trip.
However, when I got back, I started thinking about preparation for my next trip, and since this Palm Pilot idea had worked so well for me, I decided that instead of purchasing a translator, I would just purchase an add-on Spanish/English translator program for my Palm Pilot. I was able to purchase an add-on program for a very reasonable price on the internet.
The program I purchased was only about $18.00 and it seemed to be more comprehensive than even the best electronic translators. I purchased the Qvadis Lexica program for the OS3 format Palm Pilot. The English/Spanish portion has about 40,000 words in it, and the Spanish/English portion has about 34,000 words in it.
Of course, if you don’t already have a Palm Pilot, then the cost might be prohibitive compared to one of the less expensive electronic translators. But the more expensive ones are close in price to the cost of purchasing a Palm Pilot type of device. So, if you're thinking about buying one of the better electronic translators, don’t waste the money. Buy a Palm Pilot type of device instead. If you already have a Palm Pilot for work or something, or you don't have one and you decide to buy one, then my advice is to consider purchasing one of the many Spanish/English translator add-on programs for it.
Tear It Up Guys!!!
