The more Spanish you know the lower the prices go!
What is the average price in Boca (chica) chica, how is it compared to the sewer and what are some spots where I can get some lobster and shrimp while I'm down their.
It is so true what the vets say. Increase your Spanish skills and don't be afraid if you don't have perfect pronunciation. Neither do they. On my first trip my friend and I were paying 2000+ for short time, sometimes much more but we had fun and more importantly we were learning. We both knew a little spanish but did not feel comfortable speaking and we paid premium prices for it. On my second trip I was down to about a 2000 average which could have been lower but I had a noob with me and one drunken night he promised a couple of chicas 3500 that I already had at our room for a happy hour rate of 1500 each. Of course the next morning when I went to give them 1500 they kindly reminded me of my friends promise of 3500. Damn Dude!
In preparation for my last trip I downloaded a couple of good Spanish apps (Babbel, Duolingo) to my phone and practiced for about a month. It paid off. On my latest trip I was down to 1000-1500ST, I did do overnight with a regular for 2500 but if and when I do that again she'll get a 1500 take it or leave it deal. I also bring dresses and body spray to give as tips. The Victoria Secret body sprays were only $5 and the dresses from wish.com are only $2-$4. Another tip the chicas do love to try on dresses. Still know I am overpaying and if I needed any more confirmation of that it came one night. In the Batey and offered a thick Haitian chica 1000 pesos for ST and she promptly grabbed my hand and said let's go without any negotiations, and she was good.
Still working to get to that holy grail level of 0-500 pesos that the true vets say they are at.
Bottom line is the more Spanish you know the lower the prices wil go!
