Will be in Boca Chica for three days in a few weeks and am curious as to whether there are differences or nuances that I should be aware of in comparison to the scene in Sosua. Staying at Hotel Garant. Any advice would be appreciated.

Boca is only good for a couple days, anything longer than that and you will go crazy walking around that small town. Boat house is the day hangout spot and Batey is the night spot.
I would look for sleepers because the regulars are very hardcore. Look for girls who don't appear to know everyone. Some SD newbies sneak up there to pull a quick trick but the Italians and police will snatch them up quick. I like Boca because it is close to the airport and I can actually relax there. In Sosua my mind is always on pussy so I can't take a moment to relax, too much pussy in Sosua. The Chinese restaurant in the middle of town has good food. And don't get into the water for swimming.
Thanks for sharing Grownman1. Great report. It is so difficult not to get played by an ass like that. I also found a nice GF chica with a great face and body who wanted me to be her boyfriend after the first fuck. I knew she was just trying to get some additional income from me so I said thanks but no thanks, but I said I would like to see her again when I come back to the DR and I will treat you nice when I see you. She was satisfied with my answer. This thing of the money request is a big scam that should be avoided at all cost as you do. You send them money while you oversea so that they fuck other people. They will promise you that they will stop if you send them money too. Really? I don't think so. They will probably do that with lots of gringos a and keep on being hookers. All the chicas have miserable stories to tell (single mom, 3 kids, no husband / boyfriend around, really?, a sick child, a sick mom and dad, no place to stay, no money for the month's rent, no money for the kids school and so on) that you should just listen (while playing a violin), but should not try to resolve. They way I look at it, is that the chicas are doing this for a living and they would fool you if you let them fool you. It is best to keep everything as a business or client / customer relationship. I think we are helping them whenever we choose them to be with us and we are paying them for a service whatever it is they provide to us and they should be rewarded more with some extra dollars when they give us a great service.
I totally agree! I had one of my novia "which is widely use for girl-friend not fiancé" tell me she is not with her other novio anymore and is going to need me to help her more. I told her I like my position and I not trying to be or do more. Man I am going to miss that ass! To me- the saddest and greatest thing about losing a good chica in DR is replacing her with a new one. The DR give me an endless supply to feed my royal sexual oaks.

Just be street wise and you should be fine. They are not as many women to choose from there. A US citizen was killed there in his apartment where he was staying on Tuesday.
what could she tell the police.
did you do something illegal.
no, i didn't do anything illegal under dominican law. i did leave some infor out of my story. i believe she had a panic attack. real one in the hotel room.
she was spitting up blood. she did h. ave a cedula which she gave the hotel manager so she was of age. she was unusually young and european looking. she was sitting alone in what would otherwise be a populated area. i think she was inexperienced and the anal was more than she expected. [CodeWord123] is still illegal in the eyes of the dominicans. she had knowledge of something that trumped going to the police. that was scary.

Generally when I leave a Dominican destination I am hungry for more of the Dominican Republic but with Boca Chica not so much. I found the street hustlers and chicas more annoying than anyplace else and most things that can be found in Boca Chica can be found else where on the Island and better from the beach to the food. As in all things YMMV but as for me Boca Chica is the one Dominican destination I have visited that I have no desire to return.

Fortunately I have a friend who lives there so will be going into SD and doing other stuff besides trolling for Chicas. I appreciate yours and everyone else's feedback and comments.

Camaro,
I'm a little disappointed you recommend against BC. In my case I'll need to be close to the capital for a couple of weeks. And I don't care for staying in a no beach area. I saw that BC is not only close to SD but very close to airport too.
Where would you recommend to stay where there is a nicer beach and still close to SD? Couldn't care less for the p4 p scene. Really I just need a clean sandy beach and fresh DR food! Need major DETOX from US lifestyle if you get me!

Juan Dolio was the difference between night and day in comparison to Boca Chica. The beach was cleaner there no touts nagging you and the town itself had a tranquil feel to it. I cannot speak to the PFP venues but I am sure something can be found. If I were going to relax close to La Capital I would choose Juan Dolio any day of the week over Boca Chica. Of course as in everything YMMV.

A US citizen was murdered in his apartment in Boca Chica in the early hours of Tuesday 9 September 2014. The police said that the murder took place at around 3 am and that two people have been arrested, including a Haitian prostitute who police say was with the victim before he died.
The deceased was named as 49-year old Ricky Daniel Jensel who, according to the certifying doctor, Magdalena Perez, had been stabbed.
The body was taken to the National Institute of Forensic Science for autopsy.
The regional director of the National Police, Brigadier General Hector Garcia Cuevas, is leading the investigation, and according to reports, the Haitian woman had bloodstains on her clothes.
Local people said that Jensel would often walk the streets in the morning with more than 20 dogs and that he would often take prostitutes to his apartment. They also said that he often argued with the woman who was arrested.
Police are also looking for her supposed husband.
