Update
My last trip to boca chica was in 2006. During my week there I picked up about 12-15 girls for about an hour or two of full service I was paying 500-1000 pesos. Has this changed? What is the going rate at this time? Any info would be greatly appriciated, thanks, B-wood.

Hey Man,
I am new to the forum and we would like to ask you a couple questions: First, I am arriving in Santo Domingo on June 23, and this girl I met last time I was there wants to meet and hang with me in Juan Dolio. I do not know anything about this place as I have only hung in Santo Domingo and one day in Boca Chica, but she is very hot! So I have no problem spending a couple of days with her there, but would like to meet you guys in Santo Domingo for the weekend. Do you know any good places to stay in in Juan Dolio and how much would that cost me to go from the airport to Juan Dolio or should I rent a car. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
As an aside, I mostly spend my time when not in New York in a favella in Rio at Rochina where there are some beautiful women as I work with a school there. Also, I have met those who run the favella so safety is not an issue if anyone would like to come and visit me in Brazil.
Thanks again, and really enjoy reading your reports and will write one of my upcoming adventures.

Nice hotel with apartments in Juan Dolio, on the beach. Rates from $40 and up. Some rooms with balconies overlooking the beach. Bars, restaurants and a colmado are located within a few blocks. The rooms I used there had small kitchens (stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, plates, glasses and flatware).
A2B has shared transfers, from SDQ airport to many places, probably to Juan Dolio; http://www.a2btransfers.com/
You can probably book a transfer online with them.
Car rentals, I always use Alamo and book online and use a coupon code from BJs Travel website.
Juan Dolio is about 10-15 minutes east of Boca Chica. The highway after boca chica is in good shape and very few other vehicles.
If you want a fancier place, Hilton Embassy Suites in Juan Dolio is nice, but not on the beach. Costa Caribe all inclusive hotel in Juan Dolio, is ok, rates around $100. Barcelo Capella in Juan Dolio is another all inclusive in Juan Dolio, I will be there next week. When you check in with a chica, no problem staying at an all inclusive, as long as the chica checks in with you. If you book through Orbitz, use promo code, DEALPRO10, to save 10% on the cost of the room.
There are also other apartment rentals in Juan Dolio.
You are invited to the party I will have in Santo Domingo in about a week.
Send me a PM with your contact info and I will send you more info.

She had her dependent and friend with her. I was just saying Hi, when she responded with "Hi want to get freaky, freaky." She asked RD$1,000. I said yes with everything in Spanish. She agreed. Went to her place in the neighborhood, while her friend watched the dependent. The neighbors didn't really seem to care.

Mafioso
So what would bargaining go like? I have been thru several times, told $25 and basically had them refuse lesser offers. I suppose you walk away and try somebody else? This is a very structured cab monopoly. Can you describe your experience?
As long as they know your a gringo it's 25 bucks 30 now with the gas prices. If your Dominican that cab ride is 7 bucks. Wow

In April when I was in DR last one of my non-pros went to the airport in Santiago with me because I didn't know the way. I gave her money for lunch and to take a taxi because she had to hurry and get to work. Afterwards, she told me that the taxi ended up being 800 pesos.

Short term room
What is the cost of the short term room, and where I can find one in Boca Chica
Cachela in the main street, barely over $10.
I'd be interested in more info too. What's next to it. N or S side of Duarte? Hole in the wall or halfway decent? Often wondered why nobody built a high end style cabana for walk-in traffic in BC or Sosua. I suppose the cabana biz has it's own logic and requires a private garage for anonymity so the tourista market just isn't a good fit to the normal practice.

I've done short stay (2-3 hours) sessions there with chicas that I didn't feel comfortable enough with to bring back to my hotel. It's not the nicest place in the world, but it's relatively clean and they have A / C. It's cheap and it serves its purpose.

Also how far is the strip (I am guessing there is a strip in BOCA CHICA just like in Sosua?) from this hotel?

It is easy to find since it has spray painted the word 'Cachela, ' in red, near the entrance. The writing is on the wall (literally)! The only problem is that people can see you take someone up Cachela. It is on Duarte so someone is looking at you as you bring up a chica.
I recall picking up a chica at the end of Duarte, at the barrier, before passing into the park. Later, another chica who was in the middle of the block said that she saw me walking with a chica towards the beach (make a left after the barrier, before reaching the park and you reach restaurant Galataria). If it happens on Duarte someone is looking!
