Make you decisions earlier
As of 2 weeks ago, little had changed except you have to move your partying and decision making up. There was a over abundance of girls at the American disco and the other disco, I forget the name. There were a few more police, but they never bothered anyone until the clock strikes 12 mon-thur and 2am on Fri and Sat. There were no searches, road blocks or anything like that. They assure the plug is pulled on all the establishments and as long as you are moving they don't harrass you to get off the street. If anything it may work to your advantage. If you want an all nighter it adds 2 more hours to your time. Don't let a few hours discourage you.

Question about laptops & valuables
I was planning on going to BC and staying at Candil in early November. Previously I've been to PP/Sosua a couple of times. This time I was thinking of bringing my laptop to work on photos. Is it safe to leave a laptop or other small expensive electronic stuff in the room? What's your experience traveling with laptops? TIA.
