Good prices for rooms in Boca Chica, starting from 30 dollars per night. They list large and small hotels with numerous photos.
I have read on dr1 that there is no longer any action in Boca Chica. This seems counter to what is reported here. Whats the scoop?
I have read on dr1 that there is no longer any action in Boca Chica. This seems counter to what is reported here. Whats the scoop?
I've been to boca chica a couple times in past month and it was very slow and this was weekends. One was due to nasty rains maybe but other than Duarte street if it gets hopping, meaning no rains, then its ok. The other time I had to grease a local to hunt something down for me. There is the strip, casa type houses but nothing to exceptional and they want a 100usd. SD is better if your in more than a few days. I do like boca for the overnighter enjoy the beach type visists on the odd weekend though.
BC is not like it was in the 90's or like Sosua with a very open sex business and 100's of chicas in the clubs and on the beach. On the other hand like most Dominican towns it has more p4p than most other countries but the business is fairly discrete.
Duarte is fairly dead compared with Pedro Clisante in Sosua. The few chicas tend to be aging, chubby and aggressive. There are several casas in town and they are as usual, discrete. There is one across from hotel Candil, next to hotel Costalunga. These are by the way the two most recommended non-AI hotels in town (both chica friendly).
To illustrate the "action" consider Costalunga. It has an internet cafe and restaurant and a lot of chicas hang out or pass through every evening. You can sit on a comfortable couch in the lobby with a drink and take your pick. You can have one of the motos outside go get a chica of some description. You can take a walk (to the right about a block) to a main north-south street that connects with the highway and try some of the smaller bars on that street. On the way chicas will offer themselves (though a chica offering herself on the street is likely not high quality she's likely not high price either). Many bartenders and shop girls are very high quality and generally bored and available after work. Of course you should get a local phone and get the numbers of chicas you meet in shops, on the beach and so on and then meet their friends. In a few days you will have more numbers than you can use. The next time you come to town you can have your favorites lined up in the lobby.
Costalunga by the way is a nice well managed hotel with a very diverse clientele. Couples and families as well as single guys. Few Americans or Brits, mostly Italian or French.
P4P is very available, it's just not obvious like back in the day, or in Sosua.

Happy Holidays!

I've made a couple of trips to BC and the last trip was probably 5 years ago. All of the other trips were up by Sosua. Anyway, I stayed at Hotel Costalunga both times in BC. Is there still a car wash kind of across the street from Costalunga? Out the front door of Costalunga, and maybe a 30 degree angle to the right and across the street?
All I ever had to do was go get a room at Costalunga, go to that car wash and go back to Costalunga. Is that car wash still there?

Costalunga is on Avenida del Sur. To the left (west), a long block (3 blocks on the other side of the street) is Juan Bautista Vicini, which is the middle North South street in BC and a Major street with lots of businesses.
I think the OP means the intersection of Ave del Sur and J.B. Vicini, and across
both from Costalunga. I seem to remember a Car Wash there not much more than a year ago though I never checked it out. Is that what became a mini-mall?
I don't think there is any business that's visible standing at the entrance to Costalunga and looking left across the street - it's all residential.
No, Mini Mall in its place.
That's true, there's a new mini mall in place of the car wash.
This mini mall is not opened yet.
There's another carwash farther of Costalunga at the end of avenida del sur when it's crossing by vicini 'street but I have never seen girls in it and the area is not the safest of the town at night. A lot of crack *****s and minors.

Rates from 25€

Euros? Haha hey its pesos in DR.
In this case Salvatore is right. There are quite a few condos for sale in BC and the sale price is listed in Euros. Obviously most of the people buying them are Europeans.
Wow what a place every girl is down waitresses to bartenders I was the piece of meat there I had two offered themselves for free and then a sixsome with two fake blondes and a burnette rush session but was a blast but mostly darker girls there so if your picky on your taste thats what there I took the onlt light skin girls there for about 2000 pesos.
Also went to a house there girls where 6 and 7 for about 3000 pesos I declined but the main street and disco was packed with girls looking to hook up I ran out of there they were way to aggressive with me.
