what hotel in SD, and how was Saturday night on duarate.
I can't edit my original post so here are a couple of revisions:
Playboy
closed during the day, open at night
around 7 in the lineup: 4,5,6's and one 6+ who was with a customer
onsite prices: 2500 for 1 hour; 3000 for 2 hours
La Casona de Piedra
open during the day; closed by 10pm
Finally, I don't think the "yellow" no name house on Rogelio Alvarez is a casa.I was there last night and it wasn't open and a local said it wasn't a casa. I think the motoconcho driver was mistaken or made it up.
Strike2: no problem with the white house.I was in the area anyway.

Aparta Hotel Roma in the Colonial District
Duarte had about a dozen more chicas mostly sitting by the disco. However, none of them were up to my standards. Lots of sharks, one of whom wanted to sell me cocaine because a tout (my friend, :-)) told her I wanted drugs. However, that was not the case and I have no interest.
I have updated the Map with everyone's recent comments and will continue to do so. Visiting in Feb.
I went to Casa Iraisa tonight. Much different than Friday afternoon. About 15-20 chicas with a couple of 6+s maybe 7's but it was pretty dark in there so I might reevaluate in better light.
I did take someone and it was a good but not great experience. She was fine but there were a couple of things she didn't like to do that I like.
My chica said that she came in from Santo Domingo for the weekend so that is definitely the time to come.
Casa Iraisa had the most touts handing out cards so I think they are putting the most money out for promotion. Playboy was next, by the way. Based on my limited experience that is the place I would recommend to check out.

Iraisa was hot a year ago. Girls were hot, and deals can be made if you come with a few guys. I've gotten 1k on site. There is a skinny dominican tout named Charlie, who grew up in Brookyln since 4 and then got deported. I thought he was full of shit, until I found out he grew up in the same neighborhood I grew up in. We know alot of the same people, he speaks perfect english. If you don't know spanish well and need to dicuss things with the girls he can help. Don't give him much of a tip, I usually give him about 5US. He can be very helpful and not really pushy (at least with me).
What a beautiful rack! Thanks, J. I was in Miami recently and wish I would've went to DR. What was she like, please?
That chica has a very sweet personality, she was very pleasant. The chicas in Showgirls walk around in panties and bras or the outfit in the photo. She got on the dance platform inside the chains and did a good nude dance.
Does anyone know of a cenrally located chica friendly hotel in Juan Dolio?
Doesn't have to be anything special. Three star accomadations would be sufficient. Thanks in advance.

I encountered him while I was sitting at a table with a chica and he was helping a non-spanish speaking monger who was having a hard time finding what he wanted. After the monger decided to call it quits for the night Charlie latched on to me, even though he knew that I did not require assistance. I wound up meeting a chica on the street while we were walking and talking and he thought that meant that he should get a tip just because he was with me. I took the chica to one of the bars and he waited outside saying that he deserved a tip. BTW he was not allowed inside the bar because he was banned by management. Evidently he had caused trouble there before and was banned for life. When I asked him about it he said something about having to "deal" with somebody that crossed him and that he always carried a knife. Rather than calling the cops I wound up just giving him $5 to go away. Be careful my fellow mongers, this guy is trouble.

Hello, fellow mongers,
If you are looking for a decent no-frills hotel in BC then I highly recommend the Hotel Coco Playa (the old Don Emilio) on Calle Abraham #2. It is right on the beach and has a decent open-air bar/restaurant. Plenty of parking. I didn't bring my laptop on that trip so I'm not for sure but I saw people using their laptops in the restaurant area so I'm assuming that they have wifi.
The owners are a couple of guys from Spain and very friendly. The rooms are nothing to write home about but I got a spacious room w/ queen-sized bed and a/c with an ocean view for about $40 per night and breakfast. No extra taxes or charges and they don't even look at who you bring to the room. It is only a couple of blocks from where they close off the streets at night and during the day the beach in front of the hotel was packed with action. You can rent an umbrella and chairs and have drinks/food delivered.

Avenida del Sur #3
A/C, wifi, safe
$40/night
costalunga@codetel.net.do (Mario Pigozzi 809-5451309)
- bad: no front desk or people to help (paperwork is done in the internet cafe)
- bad: noisey on the street side (why I moved)
- bad: 2 dark blocks from the center of the action
- good: big room; kitchenette
- good/bad: no wifi; you can connect in the internet cafe via wire (which they will provide) for free; so it's a good connection but not as convenient as in your room
Candil Hotel
Calle El Candil No. 2, Esq. 20 de Diciembre
809-523-4252 / 4253
just around the corner from Costalunga
$45?/night (just a little more than Costalunga)
- bad: 2 dark blocks from the center of the actiona
- bad: I had to sit in the doorway to balcony to get wifi reception
- bad: the key is on a huge wooden fish to make you turn it in at the desk when you go out
- good: nice, big airy sitting room
- good: kitchenette
Excellent review JPF.........
At Costalunga on the fourth floor, at the top of the stairway, you can sit and have WiFi. A bit of a problem going up and down the stairs but it is a quiet spot with a couple of chairs and a table. Costalunga also has a very nice pool area.
At Candil the "fish" key is a pain having to turn it in each time you leave. The sitting area with the TV has no A/C and the bedroom has no TV.
Both hotels you should take a moto to and from the strip at night.

I asked about wifi in the internet cafe but they didn't tell me about that spot.

The owners live on the fourth floor so I think the WiFi is set up for them but you can pick up a really strong signal in the hallway. It is just a nusiance going up and down the steps. I am not sure if you can get a signal in the rooms but who wants a fourth floor walk up room.
I have stayed at Costalunga and Candil and your review was spot on. I prefer Costalunga because it is a little more private and you can come and go as you please without the picking up your "fish" key mess. Also at Costalunga at night there are a few chicas who hang out in the outdoor lounge area on the ground level. A main plus with Costalunga is no problem with multiple chicas in your room at one time. I have had three chicas in my room on occasion with no problem from security.
