However you like and feel comfortable is the dress code everywhere from Hamaca, Neptuno all the way to el colmado en la esquina. I have to agree with the previous poster and I am guilty myself of too much BC bashing. Boca Chica can be fun if you want it to be.
Have fun!
Thank You. I will be there on Friday June 18 2010. Ive been to Sosua and I knew the dress code to get into the Clubs was come as you are. I just want to make sure, dont want to be over dressed. Thanks Again.

I take it this is your first time going to Boca Chica. There really aren't any clubs to speak of in BC. Boca Chica is small, small, small and 5% of the amount of chicas you have seen in Sosua. Boca Chica can be a lot of fun but please don't go to BC thinking it is like Sosua.

I hear you........
I am just trying to warn him. I even warn people when they first go to Santo Domingo. There is no place like Sosua in rep dom when it comes to putas per square meter.

One of my partners going with me and I told him but he still want to go. In ATL Delta has one flt a week going and coming. Thats why we going to BC, trust me I rather go to Sosua, it was of the chain last time I went.

My advice is to take a different approach than Sosua. If you speak even a small amount of Spanish avoid the girls that speak English at all costs. That means they have been in BC for years and are super hardcore pros. The Calle Duarte strip is much smaller and has alot less chicas than Pedro Clisante. I had a ton of drama on Duarte. If these get too hot try Casa Iraisa or another casa on the google map. You'll pay more, but you'll get a generally good, drama free session.
Beach wise, I recommend going to the far west end. There is a lot less touts and hawkers down on that end. Also, I'll second Jaososua's advice on Juan Dolio. I loved it. Out of the 6 beaches that I've been to in the DR, it's my favorite.

How long are you going to be in the DR?
What hotel?

I rented a studio room, with a balcony facing the beach, that had a kitchen, for $50 per night. The less expensive rooms may not have a view of the beach. OK, I have never stayed there but know where it is. Boca Chica is a small town but do you have a Google map? My favorite hotel is Costalunga. You might want to take a look at both hotels before you pay for your room. This time of year it probably won't be difficult finding a room on the weekend as long as you don't arrive very late at night.
Costalunga is further from the beach but much more a relaxing type of hotel than Hotel Madejra. Just my two centavos but I don't like Hotel Madejra's location. Costalunga is a 8-10 minute walk to the beach or just hop on one of the many motoconchos.
If you want you can spend a day in Santo Domingo just doing the tourist looking around thing. You can either find a chica to escort you and your wingman or it is not that hard to do solo.
Take a look at these hotels.

The above hotels are within a few minutes walk of each other. If you don't have a lot of luggage you can check all of them out and make up your mind. I really think you and your boy will be happier staying at one of the above.

I totally agree, Costalunga is nice, real nice and double chica friendly with no problem. Stebo419 is planning on staying at Hotel Madejra which I don't think is a good choice. Hotel Madejra is located on the same street as Europa. If walking towards the beach once you pass Europa Madejra is on the next block other side of the street. You familiar with this place?
I suggested Stebo419 take a look at at least two hotels before paying for a room. I would take El Candil as a second choice.

Not trying to confuse you but here is one more...........LOL
Hotel Zapata is right on the beach. Hotel Zapata is sort of like by itself in that there is no close by colmado, not really the type of hotel you might just want to hang out in front at night. I still put Costlunga #1.
