Go touring Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Marta
Actually as I am reading the forums, New Delhi seems to be very close to the holy grail as I imagine it. Has anyone been there? (I never have). How does that compare to what's available in the American-ish timezone?
Are you serious? I love India for many reasons, but New Delhi is to me as close to hell as any city on earth. One time there I almost died of dysentry (or was it cholera?) and another I was close to being blown up by a terrorist bomb. India is just in a world of its own.
On the other hand, better go with WT69'S knowledgeable suggestions: DomRep, Sint Marten, Curacao.
But getting back on topic of this thread: If you know some spanish, you may enjoy Colombia. You said you might go through a few places, ideally with a beach, so how about touring Cartagena, Barranquilla and Santa Marta? It's less than 10 USD by bus from one to the next, and each city has an airport so you can fly into one and out of another at your convenience. If you were comfortable with the climate in Phuket, you will find similar temperatures here. In Cartagena you can find girls on Hollywood beach to take to your apartment. In Santa Marta there are independent girls in their rooms a couple of blocks off Rodadero beach and also streetwalkers near Parque de LOS Novios and the beach there. Forget about a beach in Barranquilla, but you can walk from one cheap casa to the next.
And after you've done all that, you can compare your experiences and report to the forum as a way to say thanks.
