Guys, a simple question. What is the fee for monthly internetcosts when you connect your laptop in a rented apartment. Any ideas? Which internetcompanies exist in nigeria, which one is reliable?
Thanks for helping me out.
Yours, C.
You can use the services of companies like starcomms, visafone, reltel. They charge an initial fee between 10,000-15,000 naira. Thats between $85-$120. Then there is the monthly fee of bout $60-80 depending on the company. They all have PCMIA cards you can slot into your laptop. Service is quite ok. You can check out the websites of these companies for more details.
Thank you very much , that helps me a lot!
Cheers,
C.

"Sex workers 'targeted' in Nigeria
Islamic authorities in the Nigerian city of Bauchi have reportedly launched a crackdown on sex workers identified by the Red Cross in a census.
The BBC's Shehu Saulawa in Bauchi says that the local Sharia commission has begun rounding the women up.
But a commissioner said no arrests had been made and authorities were merely "supervising" against illicit acts.
The Red Cross carried out the census amid efforts to tackle the spread of HIV in the north-eastern state.
Muslim majority Bauchi is governed by the Islamic Sharia law.
After the census had identified 320 women, the local Sharia commission ordered that they be rounded up, our correspondent reports from Bauchi.
He says the Sharia commission seems to have been prompted to act by the perception that it was unable to enforce a ban on commercial sex workers in the state.

The Red Cross identified sex workers amid efforts to tackle HIV
The Sharia commission normally liaises with the police, he says, but this time they acted directly, using their own security force to raid hotels housing an unknown number of sex workers.
Mustapha Babe, a member of the Sharia commission in Bauchi, denied that any women had been detained, saying the committee responsible for law and order was only supervising parts of the city.
"In every nook and corner and cranny, illegal acts were being committed contrary to Sharia law," he said.
"As a result of this, we sent them to supervise the areas where something has happened."
Between 75 and 100 of the 320 women have so far tested positive for HIV.
Several of Nigeria's Muslim majority northern states introduced Sharia law starting in 2000, despite opposition from Christians, sparking clashes and riots between rival groups.
The new laws reintroduced some of the harsher Islamic penalties which had been removed under colonial rule."
There is a china town in Lagos, Thai & Korean restaurants --- just wondering wether there are any asian providers in the city?
There is a china town in Lagos, Thai & Korean restaurants --- just wondering wether there are any asian providers in the city?
Not in the China town. In fact none of the asian girls who are domiciled in Lagos are available. But if you go to the bar at the Sheraton, you will find chinese girls who have been brought and allowed to mingle as FL's but are actually planted there by an agent. These girls are brought from China for a hefty fee, which is paid in advance there in China. They then have to earn the money and give it to the agent and clear the debt with interest and some profit too before they get back to China. Some stunningly good looking ones around.
Well, Pat's Bar is still a good place to go. I actually like the place for a decent dinner at a reasonable price (for Lagos). They serve a nice Sheppard's Pie.
A friend hooked up with a non-pro, while plain in appearance, actually quite friendly, cute, and free. I took home a good looking girl named Betty. She would not discuss pricing, so I took my chances. A full service gal, and eager for more the next morning, I gave her 10,000 Naira and sent her off.
I still have her number if anyone wants it (via PM)
I gave her 10,000 Naira and sent her off.
Sigh, 10k!!! Last time I took one from pats it cost me 5.000 and 500 taxi. A very happy girl and and I had a great service. If one wont leave the room before she gets 10k I will know how to curse at.

I'm going back to nigeria next month. Last I went it was in 2005 ans those college girls were charging 1000-1500 naira for all night sex! I hope the price is still the same! I will do what I did before, I will get a local to get the girls for me that way they won't charge crazy prices. I really want to move to nigeria but I'm still trying to fihure out what type of business that is cheap to start to get into! Any ideas? I'm a california native.

That would be like a 2 or a 3. The ones you see begging, they would go for that. I'm afraid nowadays that would be at least 3000 in the smaller communities. Lagos I've had a couple who wouldn't leave without 10.000 in their pocket. An exception more then rule, but it indicates the evolution.
But I never had locals arrange anything for me. Maybe that helps some.
I am from California too.
I want to move to Africa too.
Love the black punani.

Pat's Bar charge the girls 2,000 Naira a time entrance fee, then there's transport money on top. If you get a local to pimp girls for you, they'll take their cut on top.
Whats up with guys in the Nigerian forum. We all know there is much more action than its been reported. Ghana and Kenya a taking the 1st and 2nd position. All closet members should start sharing some of their experience. I will start from this weekend.
I worked in Lagos for 4-5 months last year and it has it's ups and downs. I worked alot so I did not get out as much as I would have liked. After my first month there I ended up hooking up with a lady from near my work. I thought Y-Not bar was ok, loaded with women, so pros and some non pros, but all available. Pat's bar was a cool place to go on nights they had a band there, lots of women there then. I also went to Tarzans ona few occasions but I had my lady with me. The above places are all most certain to be a good pick up places. I met women in the mall and also in the markets, if you are nice and presentable there is many women willing to be yours. Before I had a steady lady, I met so many ladies. Just give your mobile # and they will be calling everyday wanting to see you. I found Nigerian ladies to be very lady like and sexy as hell. They will please you in all aspects. My steady was a plus to my stay there in Lagos, she took care of my shopping, cooking, cleaning and of course me. And she was well rewarded on my departure. I have since flew her to Paris when I was working there and she continued her great services. Lagos is a dump in my opinion, but there are fun places and fun people there. Just watch your azz as you would any where else in the world. Just my thoughts.
