..... Now I wanted to test these pills, especially since the prices are so low in Phnom Penh.
Believe my friend, if they are cheap, they are fake and you don't want to try them.
It is very hard to get genuine medicines in Cambodia, apart from one or 2 pharmacies in Phnom Penh that sell Western imported medicines at western prices.
Phantomtiger2, is the canby PP city map same as the 3D PP map? I got that at my hotel but couldn't find e.g. Cyrcée. Even my moto driver didn't know where it was; he had to ask his collegues two times before he found the way.
No, 2 different maps. The canby map is very detail with exact scale of almost every street in PP. Also list almost every place you need to go (listed location on Canby map will show locations for: Sophie, Cyree, Flamingo hotel, Sharky, Shanghai, Hearts of Darkness, Walkabout, Martini etc.
Note: Also very important as you may need it in an emergency is that the map also shows where all the Embassies are located (hope you wont need that info but nice to know its available).
Like I said (almost) all you need are on this map. Anything thats left out that you may want to visit, just take a pen and mark it on the map (like I did).
You may have missed it as the actual folded map is very small, only about 3inx3in.- but unfolds to reveal lots of info.
Remember the map is FREE, so dont let anyone con you into paying for it.
Cheers.
Conclusion: I had a good time with ST pros, but with LT free lancers not so good. Why?
EDITOR'S NOTE: [blue]I certainly hope that the author or somebody else will post a link to this report in the Reports of Distinction thread. Please Click Here for more information.[/blue]
Its the same everywhere. It really depends on the gal and your luck. Some good ST f**ks turn out to be bad LT. And some LT are just scams.
As you become more experienced monger (hopefully) you will just let it go, make a note to never pick her up again (report it here of course) and move on to your next target.
So I ask the ISG panel: deteriorated discernment, bad luck or just a coincidence?
I think both bad luck AND coincidence :)
My experience in PP a year ago was quite different:
Some $7 girls was really good was only ST, but I meet LT girls at Martinis for $25 LT having nice nights.
And I met this cutie 21 yo Ina, sorry friends nonude, who stayed several days. She cried when I wanted a brake for some days, did not ask for money at all. But I tipped her, of course.
Barri, better luck next time I hope !

In my experience the motodups know where most places are but problems occur with Western pronunciation. I was feeling lazy the other week, ok very lazy, and took motodup from Shanghai to Soria centre. I could not believe it when the driver did not know where it was until it was pronounced with a very great emphasis on the final "A" to make it SoriAA Centre.
I have heard some strange pronunciations of Le Cyrcee including something like La Sharee; it even had me wondering if there were two clubs being discussed.

Girlfinder,
Where does "Ina" work at now?
I'd like to look her up when I'm in town next week!
Did try that one but the girls were not attractive. The whole gang with about 5 kids were having lunch on the filthy kitchen floor. The were a few farangs sitting in the pink lighted rooms gawking the few girls.
My girl took me to a small, well-worn room where we fucked. I was scared the whole time that someone was gonna steal my wallet and passport. Sovann warned me about this problem and was waiting in the car, but there is not much anyone can help when your wallet is stolen. I fucked her for the experience but would not come back to the meat markets on 63rd st.
You get what you pay for. I think the $20 girls from Martini are better deals than the $5 girls on 63rd st.
If you take a girl from Martini's for ST its $10. I have never paid more than that (but usually take the girl all night for $20 which includes three rounds). If I'm tired or the girl's attitude changes after the first round (or she looks like she wants to get back to the bar) I will give her $10 and some riel for a moto.
I dont use St 63 but have been to other places in Cambodia where the price is definately $5 and they dont try to scam you or steal from you as they are usually thinking about your repeat business.
In regards to Sophie's and Le Cyrcee bars, I think Sophie's is better value. If Cyrcee is charging $2 for the room on top of $15 for the girl (and the almost obligatory $2 beer/coke) then its starting to get too expensive for the quality on offer. I asked about LT and the girl told me $30 for her and $7 for the mama - and as its been mentioned before, these arent lookers! One girl tried persuading me that she would do everything I wanted all night, which is possible, but I have that available from Vietnamese girls who are happy with $20. It seems as though a drink at Sophie's IS expected unless you are a regular there and then the mama wont force the issue. If you are the only guy in there you will get a lot of attention for the price of a $2 drink and the sample BJs for $1 are your call. Show interest in one girl quickly and the others will back off. The sofas are more comfortable to scope out the girls than the bar stools too.
And hats off to those of you who DFK/DATY with these girls - you've got more guts than me! One girl at Sophie's hardly washed after I had finished with her and she gave me one of the best BJs I've had in a long time. After a quick splash of water she dressed and just sat down with her friends and waited for the next guy. The last thing I would want is a bad throat infection (or worse) spoiling the next week of my holiday there.

Pronunciation
.... problems occur with Western pronunciation...
Hi NanaHawk,
Yeah, could have been: First he drove to FCC. Then the guy we asked emphasized LE Cyrcée.
Can't find it in my dictionary either.

Missing link, sorry
Its the same everywhere. It really depends on the gal and your luck. ...As you become more experienced monger (hopefully) you will just let it go, ...
Phantomtiger2, I appreciate your mature, balanced and knowledgeable comments and replies (this is absolutely not ironic!). Yes I know it is like rolling a dice. As you say, with more experience I might know better when to roll. I suppose one has to gain that experience in each country. But actually I had planned to insert a link to a future report, the "Side effect", after the "Why" as a self ironic grimace, but I got distracted by another discussion. The link is there now.
As for the canby map I had missed that, but will keep it in mind next time.

No problem Barri,
More experience will definitely help in each country you visit as some are better than others but dont let that fool you either as many of us senior mongers get burn once in a while despite all our precautions, its the nature of the game (with experience you will win alot more but can also lose on occasions).

New BJ Bar
There is lots of discussion of Sophies and Le Cyrcee but I have seen no mention of the re-opened SOHO2.
SOHO2 is a second floor bar on the same street as Howie and Heart of Darkness. It is in the next block as you walk away from Heart of Darkness.
The bar used to have the theme of the girls being dressed in nurses uniform but it closed down a little while ago. When it re-opened, just before Christmas, it had a new theme and is now a BJ bar run in the same manner as the Star of Light in Bangkok's Patpong.
All of the girls working there are Vietnamese, though the selection was a little limited while I was there. I was told that a recruitment drive will increase the options by now.
There are two tables with curtains hanging from their edges. The girls enter a room marked 'Office' where they can gain entry to a hatchway that allows access to the space beneath the tables.
It's all a little more discrete than Sophies and allows the more shy among us to partake of a BJ while enjoying a beer and continuing our conversations.

Shanghai Manager
Shangai girls are being dudded by the arsehole new pommie manager.
Wages have been lowered form 80 to 70 to 50 and last week a girl broke an already chipped mug and had 50 cents deducted from her wages. The girls get a dollar of every drink that you buy them so be fair.
The new manager has a rule that if a girl sits with you for more than ten minutes and you don't buy a drink then she moves on!
This guy put a barang customer in hospital a few weeks ago so beware, he is a ****.
He was an asst. manager at Sharky's for a couple of years, actually worked at Shanghai Bar for a while before that but had a falling-out with the owner. Shanghai's gone thru 6 or 7 managers since, I guess he's recycling them now. He's an ok guy when sober but that's a pretty rare event.

Cleaner, I hope.

The Nurses uniforms were so dirty and stained that the girls wearing them reminded me more of morgue attendents than nurses.
Good to read that they've cleaned it up. They did clean the stairway, didn't they?

New BJ Place

So there is a trapdoor under the floor?
Continue conversations while enjoying a BJ..... Mmmm, could be difficult!!!!
OK, am looking forward for a FR, and may be on my list on my next visit. I have had a few drinks at SOHO in the past, a couple of cuties there, but was never sure about take-outs or any on premise activities, place always seemed quiet so maybe why it has closed and re-opened with a new theme. Same owner as previously, a Brit I beleive?

There is no room available for additional services but I believe that the girls can be taken out, if that's what you want.
I'm pretty sure that the ownership has changed, though I heard a rumour that it was picked up for a song due the previous owner/manager just walking out. I don't think I ever met the previous owner but the new owner sounds British.
They also had some problems with the police a few days after they opened but now that they have been resolved I reckon they could become a fixture on the scene.
