That site is very hit or miss. Some great ones mixed among a lot of fakes. The more professional the pics, the more likely to be a fake.

Since when? Or do you mean registering one guest, by name, for the whole duration?

This is a lot of hassle to save $20 or $30 per day after flying all the way to Panama, and it's unlikely to work at most "upscale" hotels unless the new Guest #2 is there for each new check-in.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. The only slight challenge is that the free airport WiFi can be slow, but Uber is about half the cost of a taxi from PTY to the city.
